After reading so many negative reviews I wasn't really looking forward to this holiday. I can honestly say it was a great week, I don't get what some people expect it's a 3⭐. Rooms are clean, staff are very helpful and are food was good.

Yes, I’d been at the hotel less than a day (13th August) when I went onto a sidari Facebook group that I’m part of, on there it detailed that lots of people had been ill at the panorama for the previous few days and there had been hospital admissions. I would have had no idea if I hadn’t seen that info on Facebook and I was at the hotel.
2 hours later we had our meet and greet with the Thomas cook rep, I was the first there, I asked her about it and she knew, she said they weren’t sure what the cause was at that time but that a number of people had been very ill and some where in hospital.
Several other people arrived and she did the usual info on trips and where to find departure times... she mentioned absolutely nothing to the other guests about the illness’ on site, I was gobsmacked.
That day I stuck the do not disturb sign on the apartment door and refused all house cleaning as my own method of infection control. Thankfully me and my children didn’t get sick but we were in the minority. On the transfer back to the airport the following week we were the only ones out of six families that hadn’t been very badly poorly. It was rife.
Thomas cook put a letter under our hotel room door about illness abroad half way through our stay and there were a few notices up around the hotel about the illness. I personally heard several people directly talking to the TC rep about their medical concerns. I took photos of all of the letters and notices if you would like me to forward them?
The rep on site was a young black lady, her name was shayley Jones. They can’t deny that she knows x
