Incredible - both the accommodation and the service. Very difficult to put into words how good this hotel (in reality 2 villas) is. You knew it was going to be something special when driving up the access road there is a notice board welcoming you by name, to the welcome mark gave, showing us all around the estate and how everything works and then bring us some light bites to have with the Prosecco that was waiting in the fridge. Mark delivered and incredible breakfast to us the following morning - a wonderful and exquisite stay

I stayed at greenmantle estate hotel. I was greeted when I pulled up outside. Shown to my villa and told about all points that may interest me like the private spar in the palm Grove. I was offered assistance for anything I may need and a contact then left to complete privacy. The villa is stunn8ng equipped with everything I needed for my stay including macaroons and complimentary bar fridge with champagne. Gourmet breakfast delivered at prearranged time next morning. It was huge and amazing. Could not fault my stay far exceeded expectations. Thanks

A beautiful oasis in the middle of nature. The room is nestled in its own forest, with a hotpot, tastefully furnished. Nothing is missing, very spacious. The beds are very comfortable and can be heated if required. The hosts are super nice and accommodating, discreet but immediately available if you need advice. A list of recommended restaurants is available. A beautiful, fresh bouquet of flowers is waiting in the room. We were very pleased with the personal welcome sign at the entrance gate. Large, inviting and well-kept garden, with a pool. Quiet but central location. Private parking space directly in front of the house. You feel at home here from the first moment and you could stay here forever. Thank you very much!

for sixty dollars one would at least expect the savories to be warm and certainly not served side by side with the sweet scones. This tea was so ordinary it was a disgrace. Please do not waste you money on this place, which is supposed to be top class. The setting was beautiful, the waitress magic but the food not worthy of a shearing shed. Get your act together;this is a dreadful reflection on NZ. I am ashamed for you.

We appreciate feedback. Sometimes there is not a match to expectations...we certainly try and our guests seem to be consistently pleased. Since you did were not present it can be difficult to get the full and accurate picture. The actual guest seemed to be content which is relevant. We are sorry you were not pleased

Our stay at Paraparaumu was a lovely surprise on all fronts.
Firstly Ralph and Leticia our hosts were the best we encountered on our month tour of New Zealand. Ralph’s local knowledge was excellent and he went the extra mile to arrange restaurants and taxi’s. Letizia was a magician in the kitchen and a delight to chat with at their 6.45pm bubbly aperitif.
The Estate itself was set in lovely gardens with extensive woodland walks to the rear of the property. For those of you with a helicopter there is also a helipad.
The pool and hot-tub were well used by us as well and a nice addition to this secluded personal boutique hotel.
The Kapiti coast is not advertised as a top spot to visit while in NZ but we were pleasantly surprised and the Bird sanctuary Island is a must.
Greenmantle Estates is simply “ Just Perfect “

Upon our arrival and seeing the magnificent estate house, we were quite excited. We did not realize the only time you actually go into the estate house (in photo with listing) is when you have the meet and greet. The actual stay is behind the estate house in another much smaller building that houses two suites. Also the pool is "open" but not heated so actually ice cold and the sauna is "heated" but l warm (not hot) so we did not use. The owners are friendly and small kitchenette was great to have in suite. Overall fine but just not at all what we thought we were getting from any information we could find on line.

Our stay was so lovely- beautiful canapés, breakfast, and such a peaceful setting! We had the spa all to ourselves in a gorgeous New Zealand forest. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for a great stay. We enjoyed a delicious dinner down the road at an outdoor Italian restaurant that was recommended.

I rarely give 5 star reviews so this rating tells how highly we thought of our 3 night stay here.
Not a cheap place to stay but the high quality of the hotel, furnishings and excellent service are worth the price.
Great breakfast. Also canapes at night.
No restaurants within walking distance so need a taxi ride to eat out at night.
Lovely gardens to walk around and can also walk up the hill through their own rain forest to a helicopter landing pad.
Small swimming pool
Excellent service although at times can be a little overbearing. Ralph works very hard to please his customers.
We spent 3 weeks in New Zealand using 12 different hotels and Greenmantle was by far the best of our tour.
Would definitely stay here again if in this area.

My wife and I have just spent two nights at the Greenmantle Estate. It was amazing. Ralf and Leticia are tremendous hosts and we were made to feel like welcome guests in their home. The house and grounds are beautiful but the attention to detail made our stay perfect. Ralf was always able to help and advise us with his knowledge of the Kapiti coast and were area. Thank you.

Amazing place. Two suites set in the garden at the back of a family home. Large room with easy chairs, fire, eating area and kitchenette with microwave. Huge double showere and 2 sink bathroom.
Patio area with exclusive use of swimming pool and a hot tub in the forest garden. Gorgeous fluffy dressing gowns and slippers.
Spotlessly clean and everything you need. Jo and Mark are great hosts, offering drinks and canapés in the evening.
Fantastic breakfast brought to room.

Thank you for the inquiry. All our suites have noise suppressants through a special Hush glass product for the windows and double sound insulation wall linings. In order of quietness the suites are: Pohutukawa, Tui, Fantail, Silver Birch then Magnifico. In general they would be regarded as quiet.
