Food was fantastic. Went for Sunday Lunch after a nice walk up by the Abbey. Great Pub, Restaurant & Hotel. I couldn't recommend it more. Accepts Dogs which is really handy and attended a wedding there not so long ago too and staff were excellent.

Called in on a busy Saturday night when the kitchen was booked to capacity and beyond. They managed to squeeze us in for a sirloin steak and chips. The steaks were excellent and the staff first rate. Certainly looking forward to eating there again.

I would say it is about 15 - 20 minutes away by car. I’m afraid I don’t know what public transport links there might be. Hope this helps
