Absolute luxury, well appointed cottage with wonderful views of the beach. Breakfast hamper is very generous. Kitchen is well fitted out but it is worth noting that there is no oven, just a hob and microwave, although we managed fine with these. There is a bbq as well but weather wasn't kind to us so we didn't get to use...

Thank you so much for the review; we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We do have a couple of bench-top ovens for use in the cottages (a new addition to our inventory) - guests can ask at reception if they want to borrow one. Look forward to seeing you again.

Spent three nights here on Golden Bay in this amazing location. The accommodation alone is well worth the trip. The cottage was well furnished with a nice private aspect looking directly out onto the golden sands. The place is very private. There is a small campsite along a bit but few passers by. Lovely gardens and landscaping. Nice details and...

Great that you enjoyed the privacy and design details of our “mini-resort” in Golden Bay. Your comments are a huge encouragement to all in our family.

We stayed in the Garden Studio which, unlike the cottages, is attached to the owners' home. This could have been an issue but it absolutely was not - we never saw them and didn't feel that we were intruding on their space (or vice-versa). The room was well appointed and extremely comfortable. The owners provided a breakfast basket with fresh...

This property is beautifully appointed and so professionally run by the resident owners. Nothing is overlooked and the attention to detail that helps to enhance your idyllic stay is admirable. The cleaning service is the best we have ever encountered in our years of travelling. The property is on the beach down a road off the highway and is extremely...

If you go to Golden Bay while in New Zealand, which you definitely should do, you have to stay in one of the cottages at Adrift! They are absolutely amazing! We spent two nights of our honeymoon there and would go back any time - for a week at least. You can really unwind in the cottages, which are big...

stayed in the honeymoon suite although I believe the unit next door is closer to the sea with uninterrupted views The unit was spotlessly clean and spacious. The small kitchen has a hob, microwave, fridge freezer but no oven. All cooking utensils are provided even tongs to get bread out of the toaster. Everything was so immaculate it looked as...

Thank you for the “excellent” review! Yes, the Beachfront Cottages are very slightly closer to the beach. The Honeymoon Cottage is the first cottage we opened and therefore the oldest so I'm glad that you found it to be immaculate, we do try to maintain the whole property to a high standard. We have bench-top ovens available for use in...

We very nearly didn't stay here but so glad we did and really would have liked to stay for more than the two nights we did stay. Wow for the location, right overlooking the beach with easy access to the sand and sea, wow for the studio where we stayed, as well as the superb views it had everything we...

Thank you for your three wows and for taking the time to write a review. It's great to hear that you enjoyed all the Studio has to offer. We are fortunate that we're now able to get good ADSL internet speeds as we are close to a fibre-optic cable providing the local rural school with ultra fast broadband (it hasn't...

I would bet that every possible way to say paradise has been used, so I will just say, WOW! Yes it is out of the way. Isn't that what you want? You can even use the excuse that your cell phone wouldn't work, they advise you that you may have to walk to the beach to get good service, but...

My family and I stayed at Adrift over the past New Years and I must say, it has been one of the finest places I have ever stayed!
