Adrift is a gem of place. From its prized position on the beach, to its beautifully manicured gardens and lawns to the detail and quality of the bungalows and its inclusions, it is an accommodation well worth a few days stay. We arrived quite late after a long drive from Blenheim to be welcomed by Gordon who briefed us on...

Thank you Stephen for taking the time to post a review, for your kind words and for the feedback on which activities in Golden Bay you enjoyed. Golden Bay has a very mild climate, no extremes, so particularly in our part of the bay grass grows all year long. So I guess the dairy cows are well fed (and we...

Absolutely loved my stay here. Have recommended to friends and 10/10 would stay here again. Amazing views and you are right up on the beach front. Wonderful hosts that supply an amazing hamper of breakfast goodies that are mostly homemade and delicious. Would be a hit in the summertime! Make sure you read the info book as it lists heaps...

What can I say, everything was perfect! The view, quality of the sheets, staff, location. Peace and quiet, very romantic. It felt as though they had thought of everything one might need. Had to drive to find a place for supper but we were happy to. Bath was luxurious.

We made a long haul drive from Blenheim to Abel Tasman and Golden Beach area and arrived late at this property. Gordon was most accommodating and welcoming. We had the studio room and found it very comfortable and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beach and felt like we were in another world! having...

Great that you enjoyed the natural wonders of our clear sky and lack of light pollution here in Tukurua. The southern hemisphere skies offer some dazzling spectacles; the Milky Way and its neighbouring galaxies, the Magellanic Clouds definitely not to be missed especially by anyone not from the southern hemisphere.

Even though it was a little early in the season for bathing in the sea it was still wonderful to be able to sit on the deck in the sun, or take a few steps down the garden to stroll on the beach. The resort has a few cottages set in lovely gardens right on the beach looking across the...

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review and for your feedback. Glad you were able to make the most of our facilities. We realise our spa baths can be a problem for “mobility impaired” guests and have since purchased a removable hand grip to help. Our studio is designed as fully wheelchair compatible and has...

Loved this beautiful little spot, 15 minutes from Takaka. Chalets were spacious, spotlessly clean and had lots of little special extra touches throughout. Double spa and beautifully tiled spacious bathroom was very luxurious although you do have to climb into the spa bath for a shower. Choice of three types of breakfasts with yummy home made ingredients - the blackcurrant...

Thank you very much for your review. Great to hear that you enjoyed the privacy of our little place. Thank you also for your valuable feedback on the bed – since your stay, while we've been closed over the winter, we've added Sleepyhead Super Plush mattress toppers onto all of our beds, underneath the cluster-puff toppers that were already there....

Had one night in this lovely accommodation. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, right on the beach. The cottage had everything that one could desire for a luxurious stay. Well situated between Takaka and Collingwood made it an easy drive to all the sights. Gordon was very helpful regarding what to see in the area.

Fabulous location on the beach - swam every morning. No light pollution, so the stars at night were phenomenal - wear something on your feet, I nearly stood on a hedgehog ! The cottage was very well equipped and the continental breakfast basket was more than adequate.Great base for exploring the area.

We had a blast here. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and we were just a walk down a short path to the ocean (you can see it from all the rooms). Incredibly peaceful, we stayed an extra night. Loved it!

Loved the location of Adrift - right on the golden sands of Golden Bay. We only wished we could have seen more sun as we had a lot of rain while we stayed here.
