Spacious, well appointed units with beautiful grounds. Just a 5 minute walk from the beach. The eels in the stream under the footbridge are fascinating to watch. These motels have to be up there with the best in the country.

Really wonderful accommodation. Terrific walk-in tiled shower. Tranquil and beautiful inside and out. Everything you need is provided, good size fridge, air conditioning, gas bbq, kingsize bed. This is the place to get your mojo back, kickback relax and soak in the beauty of the beaches. Night sky is worth enjoying too, we watched loads of the Elon Musk satellites fly past in a perfect line. And don't forget to take a look at the eels under the bridge. This place is really great make sure you book at least a few days to really make the most of everything on offer here.

Immaculately clean, beautiful restful views, well equipped, very comfortable bed, and the owner was friendly and helpful. All this and just a short walk to the beach. couldn't wish for anything more. Came home wonderfully relaxed, and have already booked our next weekend escape there.

Lovely surroundings, short walk to the beach, great standard of accommodation - we really loved our 3 nights here and would love to return as we didn't get to do all we wanted to. Pupu Springs, Wainui Falls, grove walk, Farewell Spit tour all highlights. Enjoyed the Wholemeal cafe in Takaka - several times!

We stayed here with our family of four (2 teenagers) and just loved our little home for 2 nights. Modern, clean, very well equipped and quite spacious. A full fridge, microwave, small hot plate and dish drawer in the kitchen and a dining table that fits 4 people. The adjoining living area has comfortable sofa space for 3 people. There is a carport with undercover washing line and a BBQ for each unit as well as another communal covered area with additional BBQ’s. A free washing machine and dryer with washing powder supplied. All set in a well looked after pretty garden setting and a lovely beach in walking distance. You could easily stay here for a longer time. Thank you!

First time to this relaxing area. Great location, was handy to every thing we wanted to do; including a leisurely 5mins walk to a lovely shallow beach. The villas were lovely, modern surrounded by beautiful gardens. Big thank you to Bobby and Julia who looked after us. Can't wait to come back and stay again.

These villas are absolutely delightful and a real find. They are situated rurally on a side road between Takaka and Collingwood and very close to a beautiful beach. The other reviews posted are spot on. Our host was most agreeable too and very accessible although not living on site (will be moving next door shortly). Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent location close to a beach and just a few kilometres out of town. The villa's are nicely located and built with love, set in a beautiful garden. We were in villa 4 and have truly enjoyed our stay. The villa's had everything they needed and were well kept.

We stayed as a family of 4 and loved Patons Rock Beach Villas. It is immaculate inside and out. It is so peaceful surrounded by the beautiful gardens and just a short stroll around the corner to the most lovely beach. Can't wait to return!

Have just woken up on a lovely sunny morning after an great peaceful sleep, the villas are super clean and inviting, the wet room bathroom is amazing. Beach is a short walk down the road and is lovely for a hand in hand stroll, i definitely reccomend staying here!!
