This resort was perfect for us! We had a wonderful stay. Check in was easy and everyone at the desk was kind and helpful throughout the week. Double keyed safe in office for valuables, passports, money. The room was clean, well appointed with chair, couch, dining table. Full kitchen, with ice maker. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Air conditioner was very efficient and easily adjustable. Large porch with furniture. Lots of places to dry bathing suits and towels. Very short walk from room to beach. Excellent views from our room. Our housekeeper, Suneetha, wonderfully friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Anika and everone in the cafe took excellent care of us and throughout the day on the beach. Melvin will set up chairs and umbrellas for you on the beach (and even brought us fresh papaya!). The water is smooth with little current and waves. Good snorkeling near the dock and rocky barriers. Lots of small tropical fish, starfish, and sand dollars. Lots of shells to be found. The pool area is clean and well appointed with chairs. We could not have asked for a better stay! The Frigate Bay area is a perfect, relaxing area. There are 7 restaurants on the Frigate Bay strip and we had very good to excellent food in all of them, from beach bar food to a finer dining experience. Also less than a mile, safe walk to even more restaurants and the casino. We usually drive on vacation, but there are always cabs waiting in the circle below, so never rented a car. We traveled all over the island and would not have picked another place to stay. Pictures on beach, from cafe, and from our porch.…
We finally made it back to Timothy Beach after 2 years of covid shut down and we were not sure what we would find due to many changes...a lot of construction and new expansion as well as the challenge for them to stay afloat during pandemic. We were so happy to find they not only survived, but also improved the beach area, maintained rooms in great shape and staff is still professional, friendly, and do anything to accommodate any requests or issues. There is some quite loud construction going on next door and when we first arrived we thought it might make it very difficult to enjoy our stay, but after a few days we were able to "block it out". We had a very difficult time getting all requirements to enter St. Kitts submitted, but Laurel and Shelda at front desk went above and beyond to get us there! We go back every year (this was our 16th) because everything we need/want is right there...lovely pool, great beach, bar and restaurant, proximity to the strip, comfortable clean rooms, and the best staff ever!! Did I mention the spectacular sunsets? I highly recommend you stay here if you want to feel "at home" As soon as we leave with a heavy heart we are thinking about returning the following year. I would recommend you go to Lion Rock Beach, fish with Speedy 4, and take an island tour with Uncle Millie or Alphonso!! Relax, enjoy, and "rush slowly".…

Very clean, staff are very professional and exceptionally nice. This is my spot, I've been going to st. Kitts for over 15 years, they make me feel like part of the family, from the Boss Lady Shelda to the account, the front desk Laurel and Virgil, the kitchen staff, KeKe, Kimberly and the other girls, the cooks are phenomenal, maintenance and bar tenders, not to forget housekeeping, I love them all. Best, safest, and friendliest place to stay in st kitts. My home away from home 😘😘😘 Wanda
I'll share on the front-end, I didn't necessarily chose Timothy's due to it's location or reviews. I chose it 100% out of price and desperation. And I got what I paid for. Coming off of an Island Windjammer cruise that had a Covid outbreak, I tested positive and had about an hour to make a decision as to where i was going to quarantine. I went with the least expensive option of $75/nt. On the plus side, I was given a spacious room with a view of the ocean. On the down side, quarantined guests are definitely treated like 2nd rate guests. Despite not being able to leave the room (for fear of fines or even being arrested), delivery of ordered food/water (that I paid for) took over 2 hours. Drinks were delivered warm with no ice and food was delivered cold. When it came to getting a Covid tests (which, again, I was paying for myself), I was told that the Dr. was testing the "regular guests" first and that I had to wait. So despite being kept in isolation and imprisoned in my room, to NO fault of my own, I was made to feel as if I had done something wrong. It only added to the depression and frustration, I stayed at Timothy's for a full 7 days. I plan to never return to the hotel or the island ever again.…
The hotel staff were friendly and acceptable. The hotel, beach and rooms were acceptable but average to below average. There were a variety of restaurants within walking distance. The problem is construction going on behind the hotel. At 8 am they start chipping rocks from the mountain behind the hotel. 2 large machines bang bang bang until between 6 and 8 pm. I stayed one night and couldn't stand it anymore
We booked three condos for our family group of seven. My husband and I have now visited here three times and wanted our adult children to experience the beautiful island of St. Kitts and Timothy Beach Resort, our home away from home. The view from the units is beautiful! The swimming and snorkeling from right out front on their beach is amazing! The Dock restaurant and staff at the resort is very good and they have a special Barbeque Fest dinner on Sunday nights along with some great music from local bands. The pool is wonderful for swimming, relaxing. The restaurants right next to the resort and down the beach are all good, especially Cathy’s. And last, but certainly not least, is the amazing staff at Timothy Beach Resort, from the people at the front desk, the cook and wait staff at the restaurant and bar to the amazing cleaning and maintenance staff - always working hard and attentive to any needs. We love that the linens are hung out to dry each day - the freshest smelling sheets and towels! The entire place is low key, not the Ritz or Marriott, which is exactly why we love it here and return for the best experience on our vacation. Many things to explore in the island. The friendly, and most lovely people of St. Kitts are what makes it our home away from home! Can’t wait to return! The motto of St. Kitts says it all, “Rush Slowly”! We give Timothy Beach Resort at least 10 stars! 💕🏝 The Hurley Family, Michigan…
We were very so happy to stay in this resort. The huge size one-bedroom apartment with a balcony to observe Frigate Bay and daily arriving and departures of numerous cruise line ships. Great location. (close to the local beach reastaurans, supermarket, pharmacy, etc,. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Laurel, who welcomed us with full attention to our needs since it was our first visit to this resort and the island. I have to admit that we had only one negative experience: the constant jackhammering work on the adjacent cliff was still in progress making the loud noise starting from 7:30 am till 6:00 pm, but we "used" it as an alarm to wake up earlier and discover the island. The required 1-day travel back test (COVID-19) was organized by the staff directly at the resort, which saved our time and, probably, money…
This resort is one of the best kept secrets in the Caribbean. It is relatively small & is owned privately, It has an incredible non-corporate "vibe" while providing the most relaxing & scenic stay possible. Mony guests (like us) return year after year because they love the atmosphere. If you are looking for the natural pleasures of beachfront swimming, walking, solitude & great restaurants nearby, this resort is ideal. If you prefer a "one size fits all" design / amentities, you will not be happy. It has a wonderful west view toward the tranquil side of the island & the breeze is almost always delightfully cool. You will be amazed by the sunsets! Staff is always friendly & courteous, rooms are clean & rates are very good. There is private construction work being done on the mountain property next to the resort which is causing unavoidable & bothersome daytime noise. A new road is being added by developers which will lead to a marina & condos/villas by 2025. The staff is aware of this & will do their best to provide a room with the least disruption.…
Beachfront, nice apartment, restaurant. However, they are building next door, on the cliffs, which requires constant jackhammering into the rock...after a while, very hard to handle! Staff is helpful & attentive but know that this is not the peaceful place we visited in 2019.
