Babillon hotel has all the makings of a true 5 star spa and resort. Nice big rooms, great grounds, big pool, large dining room. Hotel is kept pretty well maintained but you can tell lack of travel has impacted the hotel. 1/2 of the hotel is closed. Our room was a superior, ground floor with nice view of Sea. One large bed and one double bed. Large chair was comfortable. Bed and pillows were great. large shower. Shower would not get very hot but warm enough to be comfortable. Room included Turkish breakfast what was average--definately the best we have had here. We were sometimes the only people in the restaurant. One night, menu was limited to only one item, which was flavorful but not having a choice was a bit off. Overall food quality is average. Not much communication around services of the hotel. Front desk was very nice but didnt tell us about the procedures around getting towels for the pool, sitting areas ect. Highlight of the place is the spa. One of the best massages we have gotten. It was the medical massage. Trust me, if you as for deep massage, you will get a very deep massage. Ladies doing massage are very good and strong. It is the best place in the area and very convenient. would stay again but it has the potential to be so much more.

We were there of three night on rize city. Invited from Turkish airline and ministry of tourism.the rooms are very good not small to camper to other hotel in that area . Hotel is close to city just 10 min drive from city . Very clean . It's dry hotel .nice Resturant very delicious food , the buffet was changing every day . I will recommend it for the family and business as well.

We booked the family room during our stay in March 2019. The location is fine enough and the cleanness of rooms and lobby was really perfect. the most perfect part was the breakfast quality and varieties. Just negative point was there is no any Non-Smoking room in this Hotel.

I’m spending my honeymoon here in trabzon and we choose this hotel to stay in for one night , the hotel is beautiful and clean I looooved the room soooo much it came with a sea view and a balcony to enjoy the view, how ever I tried the restaurant this evening and it was the worst meal I had since I came to trabzon and the staff didn’t help out at all , we walked in the restaurant and sat at the table for more then 15 min and no one came to us , so we approached the staff asking for the menu which they gave only one copy for the both of us , and it took them approximately 20 min to come and get our order which was rude , the burger tasted awful, it actually tasted like a cow so we just had the fries and left looking for somewhere else to dine in , great location they just need to work on the restaurant side and it will be perfect

The location and the rooms are nice. There is ample parking space available. The pool is big with a retractable roof which can be closed opened as per weather.
The staff is not very friendly.
The pool is nice but upon visiting the pool we found that the beach towels were finished, we requested these and were assured that these will be available within 5 minutes, however, they were not made available despite two reminders. We had to go to the reception from the pool, soaked in water, and they had to bring towels from empty room.
Considering the rating and positioning of the hotel, the food quality is terrible. We ordered the Adana Kebabs, Burger and pasta and all of them were not up-to the standard. So we decided to eat outside for the rest of our stay.
In summary, I will not recommend this Hotel for this price.

Very nice, clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. However, not all staff can speak English so communication can be a little difficult if you cant speak Turkish. The surrounding area close to local shops and many seafront restaurants offering variety of seafood.

Nice 5 star hotel directly on the beach located in Iyidere near the city of Rize . Rooms were good in size and well furnished. Staff were excellent and cheerful also helpful. Breakfast was very good with large verities to chose from. The price was very good and very reasonable for a 5 star hotel.

The hotel is located on the seashore of the city and is opened last year only. Because of the recent opening they have issues with WIFI, no AC control in room, no temperature control swimming pool and lack of English speaking staff. However the rooms are quite spacious and the designing of the hotel is wonderful. The SPA facilities are also very well managed.
