Detailed Reviews
My stay at doga resort exceeded my expectations. I was there for only one night but wish I had more time as everything was perfect and couldn’t get over the views of beautiful snowy Ayder mountains from our hotel. Room was spacious and cozy, loved the shower and fireplace heater especially. Lobby area has a great balcony as well as indoor and outdoor fireplace which we enjoyed very much. I will never forget the Turkish breakfast that was served overlooking the mountains. Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had!

Good place for chilling. I like the weather and the view. Staff was very friendly and they help us to enjoy our trip. The cleaning service need more improvement and windows need fly screens since there is lot of fly in the area. To make more enhancements to atmosphere needs air conditioning system.

We would like to thank the Ayder Doğa Resort Family, which serves in Ayder Plateau with its quality service and friendly team, for the services they have provided. We had a very happy holiday. They helped us get to know not only their hotel but also the surrounding area. They professionally supported us with free maps of places to visit and see in the surrounding area. The breakfasts and meals were of very high quality. It was also fun to have live music. I definitely recommend you take it into your notes as a hotel to stay in Ayder.

It''s a clean and intimate spot that''s primarily family-friendly. As a view, it has the best angle of the bridal tuxedo waterfall. We appreciate Mr. Ibrahim, who took care of us before he arrived at the hotel and helped with everything. The must-do attractions and recommendations for places to eat have made our vacation more enjoyable. If we have the chance to come back, I would definitely recommend the hotel we will stay back with confidence. If you’re arriving in quiet temps, ask the view rooms for the eagle lodge or chalet suite.

I would like to thank Mr. Murat and his team.
I would like to thank you for your contribution to helping us spend our holiday without feeling like a stranger, as if we were staying with a family friend, rather than as an accommodation facility.
The hotel is in a very beautiful place and surrounded by nature.
We liked it very much.
Hope to see you in September.
It got full marks from us.

I see many 5 star reviews here which makes me wonder if it was just our bad luck that all these things happened to us. Maybe this hotel is more suitable for a young couple with no children who have low expectations for quality and service. Ok, let me begin:
1) The hotel is not reachable by car, so you have to hike up, and your bags get sent separately on a "cart lift". Not suitable for old people or special needs.
2) The manager of the hotel did not accept us at the beginning, he didn't coordinate with the tour company then he resolved it after some discussion.
3) The hotel has no elevator, all bags get hauled by the poor guy who works at their cafe/restaurant. Not suitable if you have young children.
4) The room was scruffy so we had to keep the window open through the night.
5) The room had no kettle. When we requested hot water from the cafe downstairs they brought a kettle and told us that we can't keep it since it's the only one at the hotel!
6) We ordered pasta with meat, it arrived an hour and a half later without meat even though I canceled it and the children had went to sleep already.
7) The staff doesn't speak English.
8) These was no Wifi in the rooms.
9) The worst surprise was in the early morning when we were going to check out, the hotel staff were asleep and no one was willing to help us with the luggage. Our hotel transfer driver from the tour company had to help us.
In short, if the hotel was ranked two stars and named a "hostel" not a "hotel" then I wouldn't have complained.

Response from Fatih S, Yönetici at Ayder Doga Resort Hotel
Responded 29 Aug 2015
1.You have to search and get information about the hotel before arrival.According to Nature protection rules most of the Ayder hotels doesnt have direct roads to Hotel. Ayder is a village so thats very normal to walk and climb. 2.Tour company didnt give us right name as passport so how do you expect from us to find your reservation immediately. We didnt do any mistake at your arrival. 3.Hotel bags carried by staff what do you expect from the guy more handsome more body shaped:) We give you good service about carrying your luggaes still you have dissapointment thats very rude 4.At the moment all rooms have kettle. At your stay you wanted kettle and we provided we just said dont take it with you to outside of hotel .You may miss understood there were at least 10of it at hotel 5.Your order for the pasta is at 00,30am So normally kitchen was closed but we have opened it for you.And pasta needs 30 minutes at least at that time.We already given you info about it . Cheff worked hard for you and thats the result But like other reviews we see that you are a problematic guy for everything 6.There were 2 English Speaker and 2 Arabic ones.Maybe you have comminutication problem or written by only fake 7.Wifi is covered with 20 Access points .Totaly wrong information 8.There were 1 English staff ,1 Luggage carrier,1 reception staff at night time. And they get your luggages to the lift and organized driver. This is totally lie again. We dont know what is your aim for this lie and what you try to do. Maybe you dont like something at the hotel you did like this. Solution is always at your hands just need to communicate with staff about problems so can be solved immediately. Our hotel is not in Dubai your problem is comparing city hotels with villages hotels. You need to get more culture and education at your life.Hope you can take and became a gentleman otherwise will stay like rich rubbish God helps you

If your answer is "NO" you should visit when you have opportunity.
This hotel has the best fantastic view. So kind, polite and helpful team providing services. If you like "sheesha" ask to Mr. Ozgur to prepare for you.
You are at the top of the mountain, even you are 50 meters upper than base stations.
I will go again in winter time with my family.
