staff are very friendly but we couldn't find anyone who speaks English at check in time!
I managed to ask them about Tea Farms directions and they gave me a very useful map of Rize attractions including tea farms with GPS coordinates.

Very friendly welcome and gave their best to speak English. At the other end of the main bus station, but still only a short walk. The room was spacious, luckily no carpet. Bathroom just fine, good shower. Liked it very much to be on 7th floor. A bit close to the elevator, but still very calm during the night. Seems that it is rather a business hotel than touristic, but would still recommend for tourists as well. Good basis to get around in the close by tea hills.
