We had an early flight and arrived at the hotel well before the official check-in time. Our room was ready and we were escorted to our room which was 6101. This is near to most amenities such as the restaurants and pools. Some of the furniture was a bit tired especially for a 5* and a leading hotels of the world 5*. It would have been nice to have usb ports on plugs for example and only 4 hangers each wouldn't have been adequate for a longer stay.
The bed was very comfortable and the toiletries were of a high standard, as was the room cleanliness, the outside seating area is large but due to the flora and fauna doesn't exactly get flooded with light. Criticisms over I found all staff to be very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. I've seen reviews criticising the wifi, I had no issues and I saw multiple access points throughout the grounds.
The outside space at this hotel is exceptional, and the care that goes into maintaining everything is clear to see. The pools are beautifully designed and laid out it was great to join the staff in the morning and feed all the fish.
As we were visiting out of season, not all restaurants were open , but the food at the breakfast buffet and in the restaurants we used was of a really high standard and the service was good. We had a quick dip in the Zen pool but it did feel quite cool, the main pool isn't heated and we never saw anyone in that. I'd imagine in the height of season the pools would be busy.
There's a well run kids club and also a teen club with pool table, darts, table football, ping pong and a PS4. They also have a beach volleyball set up, football pitch, tennis and padel. I believe for the tennis you have to bring your own equipment.
Jesus who looks after the kids club deserves a special mention, he was playing football with my son, he had a game of pool with me and is just a great guy, really friendly and a real asset to the hotel.
Overall we had a good stay. And there's a good selection of things to do nearby, such as the water park etc. A taxi to Benidorm is around €15 and I would rather stay at Asia gardens than at a hotel in Benidorm.
Please don't be put off by the recent negative reviews. I'll be back as the wife had to work so couldn't come and after seeing my pictures and face timing whilst we were there without her she wants to go and experience the hotel herself.
The room very large, with a giant terrace and all services. I've been in rather better Suites, but not wrong.
The interior common spaces are beautiful, but somewhat fair leisure offer and since the location is not the best, in case of bad weather it has to fall short.
The outdoor communal spaces are the best of the hotel. A real passer-by. At first you get a little lost, but everything is beautiful. Specifically the VIP exclusive pools are wonderful, but the rest of the pools are also very good.
In our case, we were not in maximum occupancy, and we were very quiet. I do not know in high season and maximum occupancy as it will be, but we had moments of being practically alone in the VIP pools.
Restaurants are fine, but it's a bit messy because in some you can't go with children under 12, in some you can book, in others you can't, and in the end you almost always end up with problems eating. There's no full board.
The prices of the restaurants are very high, macaroni at €18, they charge you bread, they charge you some nuts that you have not ordered, and they charge you tap water at €3...
We with the Suite package had access to breakfast in "in black". Maybe it's the best thing about being exclusive. Exceptional breakfast, great product, wonderful local and here I want to highlight the service of Corina Alexandra. A wonderful professional, attentive and pleasant.
The hotel staff service, overall, very good. All with good presence, clean and nice uniforms, and friendly and professional people at the same time. This if I think it's one of the best I remember.
We did not make use of the miniclub, but the program seemed interesting. However, even for logistics, I do not think it is a recommended hotel to go with children under 3-4 years. Children under 12 have limitations of swimming pools and restaurants.
We also did not use the SPA, but from the outside it looked good.
The worst part of the hotel seems to me the prices of drinks, meals and drinks. From 6 € for a draft beer to 15-18 € for a cocktail, through 3 € for a bottle of tap water, 2 € for some nuts, etc...
In our case it is even more burdensome. Paying you a suite of more than 600 €/night and being charged the nuts... it is like little effort to collect reaching usury.
In any other hotel of similar characteristics, in suites like this and VIP areas put fruit, water, nuts, sandwhiches, ice cream...

They had the most amazing buffet on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But being vegetarian we could not enjoy this. It was extremely meat heavy. The executive chef Martin was great and made us vegetarian food but when having a Christmas buffet it would be good to have a few items rather than just one veg item brought to the table.
In low season when the buffet is closed you can go to an a la carte restaurant where vegetarian food is better. Just be aware the food is very expensive so half board is a good option if you’re not vegetarian. I do appreciate the effort Martin made with us and if you have special dietary requirements you should insist on speaking to the head chef. It is very hard to get to speak to them but when you do they will do what they can to cater for you.
I would personally like to thank Lucia for everything she did for us. She helped us a lot with sorting out the food, our interconnecting rooms etc. If it wasn’t for her our concerns would not have been sorted and the trip would have been a completely different experience for us. With a baby and toddler interconnecting rooms were a must for us. It would be beneficial if more staff could be trained to have the same customer service level as Lucia.
Personally I’m not sure we would return until the kids are a bit older as it’s not the most baby friendly hotel. The kids club was good with daily activities and a play area.
Rooms were kept clean and house keeping was very good. The toiletries were from The White Company and of high quality. The hotel was decorated nicely for Christmas with beautifully decorated trees around the hotel.
Overall we had a great time and enjoyed spending Christmas at Asia Gardens thanks to Lucia and Martin.
Upon arrival which was 2 hours earlier than their check-in time of 4pm our cases were labeled and stored until we received a phone call to say that our room was ready.
We were then told that we could go for lunch at the poolside restaurant and on the way collect a towel for the sun beds, as it been an early flight my colleague and I decided to get some lunch of which there was not a great variety, we then decided to collect a towel from the hut, when I asked for a towel and was rudely asked for the card that i was given at reception, I tried to explain that our room was not ready and was not given a card to be very rudely told No Card No Towel, so went and sat on a bed anyway of which i was then told by a member of staff that i should not be sitting on a sunbed without a towel, again I tried to explain but the staff member was adamant.
At 4pm I still had not received a phone call to say that my room was ready so decided to to walk back to reception where I was told to take a seat and wait for the phone call which came 35 minutes later.
After finally getting to my room which on initial thoughts looked excellent but after a couple of hours could honestly say that for much less per night I have stopped in better quality rooms, but I will say that the bathroom and especially the shower was excellent.
I unpacked and decided to make a cup of tea only to find that there was no milk in the fridge, so whilst walking past reception to go for dinner I asked if I could have some milk sent to the room, well I checked in on a Sunday and left on the Wednesday and as you can guess No Milk Was Delivered even after asking 2-3 times but this does not surprise me as I emailed the hotel 7 days before my arrival and I am still awaiting their response.
I have today (21-8-2024) tried to email them about a credit card charge that I am not aware of and have no v.a.t receipt for I am not holding my breath of for a reply as you can only contact them through their web site.
As I was there on business for a Dental Forum I have to say the food was excellent with 2-3 options for lunch and dinner especially for the number attending.
After dinner there were pre-arranged get togethers for everyone (about 250 people) but unfortunately there were not enough bar staff so it took up to 30 minutes to get a drink and the bar closed very early.
Would I ever consider stopping here again, definitely not.
Is this place a 5* definitely not, as I stated earlier I have stayed in much better hotels for half the price.
If you are Wayne Rooney, Penelope Cruze etc that they are very happy to immediately show their review on the web site, then yes the service will be excellent but for my stay at 300+ euro per night and the rudeness and ineptness of staff then it was very poor.
The pools are a real luxury, they give you the towel cards to use the hotel towels in the pools, (now I explain the problem) when you go down to the pool you find all the sunbeds with their towels on and none free, we end up in the adults-only one which is where there was room. We left the towels to go to lunch and when we came back they had taken our place and our towels were gone, so they tell us that the towels can not be left on the sunbeds and that we have to take them and then all the ones that are on from the first hour that there is no one ?! We also saw one of the workers placing the towels well and tucking the edges under the mats of some sunbeds (Those are more special for sure)
We had a bad experience in spa massages ,as we asked for a relaxing couple massage and I was touched by a woman who really was a great Pro and I loved it, my wife got the worst part as it was done by a guy who didn't know much where he was. With very bad luck he found a person who understands these massages, knows his steps and the pressures that must be carried out. She is my wife who dedicates herself to it Pro and on several occasions I try to correct everything that did not do well , once outside she spoke to the reception of the spa to comment what had happened to her and her answer was: ((We are very sorry))... that for us is not answer in a hotel of this type, very embarrassing you charge the massage and you shut up and go home pissed off like a monkey , because they have flow of customers and what you say to them by one ear comes in and by another comes out (No matter what another will come and you have already been charged ) a shame that they do not have a professional who faces the public knows how to solve the problem and that the client does not leave there dissatisfied.
Have if they READ it from the hotel and improve it for the next customers

Upon arrival you are missing complimentary drinks, a decent map with the hotel facilities and information about the activities you can do inside.
The rooms are correct, spacious, with comfortable beds, good TV, but there is nothing extraordinary about them either, they do not have something as basic as bathrobes nor do you have water on the tables as is usual in this type of hotels.
During your time at the resort, note that it is in the middle of nowhere, so going out for a drink requires you to take the car, so you are forced to consume everything there and it is not up to par, paying for quality products It is reasonable, paying €70 to wait almost 30 minutes for bravas, spaghetti and a salad of ridiculous dimensions to be served is not.
Clients cannot be treated as walking wallets once they have paid €500/night for a room, charging €150 more for sun loungers is a joke.
The use of the pools is really great, they are spectacular and there are not many people, which allows for the desired relaxation, although the surrounding bathrooms leave something to be desired, on several occasions I could not use them because they were dirty, and not a little dirty, impractical .
Regarding the activities and atmosphere of the hotel it is practically non-existent, the pools close strictly at 8:00 p.m. and you only have to go to pay in the restaurants that do not have much of an atmosphere either. At 1:00 they close. In a hotel of these characteristics they should allow swimming in the pools until late hours and provide leisure options.
In conclusion, the hotel facilities are reminiscent of Caribbean luxury hotels, they are very nice, but it has details that make it not live up to its value.

As for the services, we had to wait because the room was not ready despite our arrival after the Check in.
Our safe was not working and the Inn took more than 30 minutes to find a solution; blocking us for our day out.
We asked for cocktails by the pool around 18:15 and more than 45 min later, still nothing...
The dinner buffet is also not up to the 5 stars (the dishes seem “industrial”, few choices, no vegetable milks unless you ask them ..)
For us, it is clearly not up to a 5 star for which we paid 845€ for the deluxe room with 2 and a half children board.
