The pool is nice, except it's public and overcrowded the whole time starting from an early morning. Even though the hotel has a direct access to the sea, the swimming there is not very comfortable
The food in the restaurant was lovely and the waiter staff friendly.
The reception team were exceptionally friendly and helpful booking us taxis and offering advice on the best way to see the sites.
The Hotel has 4 pools we only used the 2 directly in front of the hotel. Sun beds are allocated by room so you always know one is going to be available for you. The pool bar was great for a drink and snacks and the young lady serving was lovely.
You can walk to Herculaneum from the hotel and you can easily get to Pompeii and Sorrento by train.
The not so good - the pools are salt water, not a big problem just would have preferred chlorine.
The breakfast wasn’t great, the 2 girls on breakfast were rude and unwelcoming and rarely replenished the breakfast items so unless you got there early there wasn’t much left. It’s a shame they really let the hotel down.
There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.
The location isn’t great, the surrounding are is run down and there are no shops or restaurants you can walk to.
Room with balcony with views over the bay of Naples is lovely
Breakfast nice but staying for 7 nights it got really repeatative with nothing changing
Em that's it I think on likes
Location leaves a lot to be desired as nothing nearby it's a good 20 minute walk to any kind of shop, more for a proper supermarket as there is nothing at the hotel
Staff unfriendly and I think a it's a chew for them to help in any way
Evicted from a sunbed in the pool area on Saturday as a member of public had pre-booked it so absolutely no courtesy for hotel guests
Service in restaurant very poor and as a restaurant manager just wanted to give some basic training 😕
Pista resistance left my passports in the room after check-out and after ringing them to go look where I had left them they continued to say they couldn't find them as the room had been cleaned and no sign of them so after asking 3 times to double check they where found so obviously no cleaning was done (they got the passports to me in the end)
If I hadn't pressed them hard i would still be in Naples
Location is not good and as for previous reviews being 10/12 euros to train station it's not it's 20 euros and getting it there and back to go site seeing soon adds up
Overall I would not stay here again and would not recommend
some minor points :
Breakfast: when being at a southern country I expect to have fresh orange juice and not out of a carton, the scrambled eggs/bacon and baked potatoes were not kept warm. A small diswasher in the kitchen of the breakfast area, could give the personnel paying more attention to the guests,
Swimming pool: Guests have to pay for chairs at the swimming pool area, which should be free. It is not because the neigbourhood is using the swimming pool that guest must suffer extra costs.
Rooms: No information in the room in respect of costs mini bar or other possible services in the hotel.
This hotel is in Torre Del Greco (half hour train ride to Napoli Garibaldi) but the stunning scenery and phenomenal staff make it so worth it. Within walking distance to Herculaneum ruins as well.
The staff are multilingual and really lovely, they went above and beyond to help during our stay. Mina was amazing, his generosity, endless patience and useful advice was utterly invaluable. Thank you also to Chiara, Angela and Ariadna. We would love to return!
Good job!
The breakfast crew was really helpful and even went to the shop on Sunday to buy gluten free bread, and helped to carry coffee and food to the room.
The front desk provided good explanations regarding the transport options and was helpful to call taxi even when I was on the train from Sorrento back to the hotel.
The things I missed during my stay has nothing to do with the hotel, but the location is far from train stations (both Ercolano Scavi, 15 euro taxi, and Torre del Greco, 15-20 min walk)
I really wished there was Uber or Bolt options available in the area.
A good tip to other foreign guests,is that if you want other food than from the hotel resturant, use the Glovo app. There you can find options for gluten free pizzas and sandwiches
"Nearby area is little rundown. There is a railway line underneath the driveway of the hotel but ok. Poolside bar is cheaper than restaurant."Read full review
