First of all, this isn't a review of the Bruce Anchor villa, this is overall experience of a small town Tobermory, at the tip of Bruce Peninsula. We were located off-site, just a minute from the main office and the motel, in the middle of the woods. Again, you cannot stop admiring the nature and calming effect on your spirit. This is right place to charge your batteries, relax your soul and enjoy the trails. Our room (located in one of the Bruce Anchor sites) was so quiet that it was almost intimidating how silent it could be in the morning. Do not miss: boat cruise, one million of hiking trails, visiting Flower Pot island, eating at harbour restaurants, sunset at the beach. Boat cruise: you don't need the one with fully enclosed cabin, if the weather is warm enough, but we were there in June and it was chilly going out to flowerpot island. Bring extra hoodie even if going out in August! For some who likes hiking, this island is gorgeous, but there are also nice trails on the main land, too. Check all the look out spots, lighthouse and everything else that you can reach on your legs. Eating: cut little marine is surrounded by restaurant patios, with awesome fish, chicken and classic food. Try fish and chips at the second floor patio in the corner of harbour and watch the scenery from elevated view. Right beside it there is a very good grocery store, if you are cooking at the cabin. Beach: There is Singing Sands Beach (just minutes away with a car), but it's a huge sandy beach where you can enjoy time with your family and watch the sunset. The other Dunks Bay beach is very small, but with very clean water , inviting you for a swim. Warning: like all the other places at Huron, water is cold until late July. We are definitely coming back once I get my hips right, because there is so much more to see there. Hikers, do not miss a chance to see this charming little town and surrounding nature!…
