First time in Les Menuires and such a great experience! The apartment was really cosy and well designed. It was so enjoyable to have an access to the slopes from the ski room!
So easy and convenient!
Great location in the middle of the village
The staff was helpful and kind
And...hmmmm we loved to have a French fondue on our balcony !

We stayed at Residence Aconit in Les Menuires in January. The hotel has easy access, either by car (there is a large underground parking) or by the station shuttle bus from the central Gare Routiere (free). Check in was quick, the reception staff helpful, and we easily find our room shortly after.
The room was of very good size considering the standard of accommodation in French resorts. Clean, comfortable and with enough space for four adults (we had the apartment for 4/5), a small balcony with nice view. Of note, plenty of storage space. The kitchen was medium equipped, without an oven, but with a microwave. Kitchen needed extra cleaning, apparently this is based on the care of the previous guest only. The ski is indeed from the door, and you have easy access to the main domain. If you are interested in ski school, meeting point is in easy reach. Not a good ski storage room, no place for ski boots, so you have to carry them into your room. Wifi is not good, we payed for an upgrade, it made no difference.
Les Bruyeres are a relative small area, but this is good, as you have all you need in easy reach- a Sherpa Supermarket, ski rentals (we was very disappointed with Sport 2000, very helpful and professional Intersport), a good range of restaurants and the Aquasport very near. Next door there is a shop with freshly baked food, we tried it twice, it was good. There is a ski-pass sales point next door. The shuttle bus runs to the Les Menuires Center, with many shops, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, pharmacy- be aware only of bus schedule delays.
We would warmly recommend this hotel.

Aconit is brilliantly located in Bruyeres, Les Menuires, just off the ski run down to Doron and Masse lifts and adjacent to useful shops and restaurants. The apartments are clean, comfortable and well fitted out and the reception and maintenance staff are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Aconit as a base for a family ski holiday in the Three Valleys.

When we arrived, the three of us, the appartment should be ready at 17:00 hours. We have to wait more than one hour to receive the keys. We asked in advanced by email for parking for one car, they told us that the parking was full so we had to park very far from the appartment and download our luggage quickly.
The appartment is very small. It was complicated to open the bed in the sofa: you have to move other furniture (two small tables, a chair and more).
It is suppose they have to give a security code to open the door at the entrance of the building. They forgot to give us the code and after 19:00 we found the doors closes and we have to ask to other customer to open the door for us.

We just returned from a week at Les Menuires. The accomodation was basic and functional. We had a 3 person studio. We had bunk beds for 2 and a sofa bed for the 3rd. There was no microwave oven. The heating did not work and despite telling them at reception, this was not fixed.
The advantages was that it was very close to the slopes (10 metres) and the skilifts. The ESF ski school meeting point was just downstairs. There was a Shepa (mini-supermarket) about 50 metres away which was convinient for supplies.
There were good facilities to keep skis and poles locked up and it was truly ski in and out if you can manage a blue run.
It was very basic but for the price I suppose you cant complain. We booked through Lastminute, but they book it through a group called ski-horizons.

My son and I stayed in one bed apartment - last week Jan 2020.
Couldn’t fault the apartment - clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen is cramped and as no work space to prepare food I would imagine this would be a pain but we ate out every night.
Bakery very close by so went every morning for bread and crossiants although they will deliver to door if you want.
Supermarket close by too.
Rented skis next door at Intersport Bruyers 2 - very helpful and hot great deal online.
Be aware that apartment reception closed during lunch so although we arrived a lunchtime thinking we could get in afternoon ski we couldn’t get into apartment until after 2pm and had to wait around for 2 hours as nowhere to leave bags etc.
Like everyone else took boots to room overnight to dry as no heating in boot/ski store room.
Would definitely recommend - perfect for ski in/out as literally on easy green or blue - in morning ski down to Reberty lift.

Aconit is a building with comfortable apartments directly on the piste. The staff is friendly, and helpful. Because they trust you there is a fine atmosphere . No surety or other controls and the possibility to leave at the time you want makes staying there a party and very relaxing.

The location was excellent, ski in and out was fantastic. Staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the morning bakery delivery for very good prices. Appartment was cleaned and well equipped with cosy feeling. Beds were comfortable, lot´s of storage space appreciated.
On the other hand, smell of grease, oil in the kitchen and partly in the appartment was uncomfortable. We didn´t get rid off it even with regular window opening. It is something which ruined the comfort of our stay. The bad smell in the corridors from people´s cooking was unpleasant as well. Noise from drunk people under our balcony who were leaving the bar during night hours woke us up almost every night.

Right on the main piste going through this part of Les Menuires so it is really simple to get to the main lifts going to Val Thoren, Courchevel and Meribel.
It is right next door to two Intersport hire shops and very near the main shops and bars, as in just round the corner.
The actual hotel is in very good condition and the rooms very clean and practical. There is underground parking available but you can also park for free just outside the hotel if you are lucky enough to find a spot (as we were).
I'd highly recommend a stay here for a skiing holiday.

Chère Savine A,
Cordialement,
Julie - Chef de réception
