We stayed at this hotel for five nights in a Junior suite overlooking the golf course and enjoyed each and every day. Both golf courses are challenging, and the staff at the golf course are friendly and helpful. Lunch is served every day until 3 p.m. with a selection of the day menu, which is excellent value and good quality. Dinner is served from 7 pm and again is lovely. The choice of wines at the hotel is incredible, and they are all from the local region, so try a different bottle or two every day.
Finally, I would like to say a big thank you to all the restaurant and golf staff, especially Crystal, who was always very helpful.
Thank you, team Accor.

Very nice hotel situated on the golf course. We had a deluxe room on ground floor overlooking the golf course. Very nice and clean room including the bathroom. Very convenient with direct access to the golf restaurant located on the first floor with a large terrace overlooking the golf course. OK indoor pool with doors to a very small and not so nice area with only a few sun loungers. We had 30 C and would have loved to lay by the pool for an hour or two but this is not very inviting which is a shame. Otherwise nice hotel and restaurant.

Stayed one night on our way to the South, we decided to stop to this hotel to enjoy calm and nice view but also have a taste of good local food and wine.
We naturally booked the hotel restaurant for the evening and informed that we needed a chair for the kid (14 months).
We arrived at the restaurant, no chair was available, we have been put at the back of the restaurant while the terrace was all empty. Not impressed by the raw salmon without any seasoning and the gambas over salty. Finally, no recommendation was given on the wines...
First time in that hotel and probably last time regarding poor service quality.

Wife and another couple on a trip through Bordeaux celebrating our wedding anniversaries stopped by for a morning of golf. The staff were great and the restaurant food and facilities super.. Can't say enough good things. The members or guests on the other hand were absolutely horrendous. We were waiting to tee off on 10 with the team in front at 200m from the tee (we had Bushnell range finders) when the team from behind us starting yelling at us (I don't mean asking in an elevated voice but yelling) as to why we had not teed off. Where we come from safety is important and especially given we were playing this course for the first time so didn't think we deserved a dressing down. Played the round in 3h45 m

I am not the type od person complaining , but if something was bad, is must have very bad
Booked the hotel for a get a way trip with 2 kids : 4 days / 3 nights .
location = very quiet + perfect for golfplayers
2 standard rooms / interconnecting for the kids : standard means in this case +/- parkingview and rather small rooms f you consider this hotel is located litterally in in the fields : you can expect small rooms in a cityhotel but not from a hotel is in this place .
But anyway: free parking = a + and even secured behind a gate !
Rooms as said : small but do have everything on hand and as should be
Bathrooms including good shower ( why did they take away the bathrobes the day before departure ? afraid we would steal them ???? )
Efficient frontdesk/ reception .
SPA or wellness is a big word for this : A trip to Germany will explain them what a spa or wellness is : but once again : there is a decent pool ( could be maintained better at the edges of the pool ) , a hammam , some workout equipment , some rooms for threatments .
B'fast has everything a 4* should have .
A la carte dinner in their restaurant was a complete disaster however :
1 st evening :
Ordered the children menu : a chickenburger for a 8 year old boy : meat was still rare and red + blood visible in the bun... he will never eat a burger anymore for the rest of his life . I am already happy he does not have a bacterial infection . I cannot they understand they did not see this in the kitchen , because they sliced the meat before putting it in the bun .
For the other kids menu : "fish of the day" :we were told there was no fish of the day for children that day so they gave him an adult portion of "Merlu": even with the skin ... Of yes , kids do like this , my dear chef .
Dessert for children was forgotten by service and was then replaced by some sort of egg-icecream ...: dear chef , if catering for kids : please keep it simple , with plenty of coloured but cooked vegetables + well cooked meat .
My wife ordered a cote de veau : never seen a restaurant serving that type of low quality meat : this is the type of meat we use when cooking a consommé ...
I had chipirons: some sort of calamars: half cooked or badly defrosted with a sauce provencale directly from a jar ....
Oh yes , we got a 50% discount on the adult dishes because none of the 4 of us was happy .
Because this might have been one misty day for the chef : we gave it a second chance the next day for dinner... I will not bore you again , but let us say, there is a serious problem in their kitchen and some one should send the chef back to school .
Once again : this hotel is a place nearly in the middle of nowhere so you have to dine in the hotel if you don't want to drive miles . Because of the fact that the level of prices is high : one can expect something decent : here you can feel the kitchen is run by a standard / low average team managed or not managed .
Am I returning to this hotel ? No
Would I reccommend it ? No .

We spend six days at Golf du Medoc, playing golf on two great courses. BUT, the resort is literally in the middle of no-where and without a car, you are 45 to 60 minutes from Bordeaux with no local taxi service, so even if you just want to go nearby for dinner, you need to order a taxi from Bordeaux at 60+ Euros each way. So if you stay, plan on either renting a car or doing everything at the resort.

I struggle to understand how this hotel can be included in the MGallery group, as it is has neither boutique charm or luxury.
We debated whether or not to go to this hotel or it's sister hotel in town, and on arrival, we checked the room that was offered, and quickly decided to cancel and go elsewhere.
It is very much a business/conference type hotel - not for a romantic weekend stay. Think, premier inn style rooms, rather than plush MGallery suites.
We were disappointed as we have always had exceptional service with MGallery (we're accor platinum card holders, so we stay at them frequently), and this experience was disappointing.

I never thought I'd experience HORRIBLE food in France. But this hotel has such a low standard of food, that it wouldn't Even be served if I was in charge - and I'm not a chef. They say they have three restaurants and that's NOT the case! It's all, the same kitchen!

We are driving to Spain and stopped here mainly because dogs are welcome and we have our border terrier with us.
We arrived late and were given a very warm welcome. We opted for room service sitting outside on the balcony. Food was delicious. We had a lovely walk wit the dog and an early night.
Good sleep in very comfy bed.
Again breakfast in the room which was really good. Nothing forgotten. Obviously hotel is geared up for golfers and the course looked a lot of fun.
Would be very happy to stop here again.
