Amazing experience. Great atmosphere. The campground is so well run, clean and a pleasure to stay in. The staff are SO nice and accommodating and such a breath of fresh air compared to what we've experienced at Ruakaka and Mangawhai campgrounds. LOVE This place.

Staying at the Camp for a night on the way back from up north to Auckland has become a tradition for us. The grounds are very welcoming and it is nice to relax for our last night on a trip here. The grounds are well placed behind some sand dune which back a beautiful beach which goes for miles and only a few minutes walk from the small town ship that has a really good beachside restaurant and bar. This time we stayed in one of the grounds new baches. A two bedroom cabin that could only be described as luxurious, it had all of the comforts of home - great beds, washing machine, good size fridge and kitchen, free wifi and comfortable lounge. Could not fault the girls in the office, their welcome or the facilities of the camping ground. Highly recommended as a short break to a trip or a longer stay. Good children's playground - clean and comfortable facilities, great location.

Have been to Camp Waipu on several occasions. The staff is always welcoming, the facilities are great, and the showers are amazing - set timer for 6 minutes (which is plenty) and they are free and have tremendous pressure. Going back again in February!

Only used the camping site overnight but regularly.t The brief experience is always a very positive one. Facilities meet all one's needs for a camping experience. Lovely friendly atmosphere. The staff are most helpful, always cherry and happy! As I depart early all kudos to the cleaning team after the busy time in the camp over the holiday period. They leave the facilities spotless. Ready for the new day discreetly in the early hours so campers are not inconvenienced.10/10

Camp Waipu is our absolute Favorite! The beach, the facilities, the families and the fun are unapparelled which is why we visit several times a year. The addition of the jumping pillow this year just added to the fun. The staff are awesome. We can't wait to get back. Having the beautiful cove restaurant over the road is an extra bonus when you need a decent coffee.

Thank you for your review and feedback :) We are sorry to hear you had cold showers, I can assure you this is not the norm as we provide free hot showers for all of our guests. It sounds like there may have been a slight fault at that time, but this is usually something we can fix quickly when advised. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall :)
