Perfect location, tidy and clean facilities with food places close by. We chose to stay here so we could venture further afield without to much driving, we got to Matakana within an hour, fun town with a unique movie theater that needs to be experienced, and Goat island marine reserve close from there. Waterfalls and caves close to Waipu also.

Stayed for one night, in a camper on a powered site. Staff friendly and price very reasonable. Facilities clean, although you need to pay extra for hot showers. Beach side location is nice. Quiet when we visited.

Stayed at this campground too many times to count. Great Location, Great Facilities - Clean, Close to excellent Cafe's, Township 10 mins up the road with a 4 square and restaurant. Great Fishing right off the beach. Waipu is a Scottish Town and very much a farming community. Although we stay in our Caravan all times of the year, definitely...

We have just spent the last week in March here and had a great time. We have a 2.5 year old and 5 month old and stayed in a self contained unit which was lovely. Towels, bedding, shampoo, soap and all washing up bits included. So close to the beach great for the sunrise strolls with my baby. Clean, fresh...

Kitchen seemed very adequate as well although we went to the local cafe for our evening meal. This was all of about 2 minutes walk away. Great location. Nice and quiet in the evening.Cabin was a little...

We were only there for one night as part of a group and we had a power site near the ablution/facilities building - very handy!. The welcome was efficient and informative. The facilities were spotless with a great kitchen. This was our second stay here and will be back.
