We travelled as a group of 10 in October half term and stayed in the one- and two-bedroom suites. The rooms were brilliant, modern with everything you could need, (kettle, fridge, hairdryer etc) We didn’t stay in the swim up rooms which looked amazing, had it been the summer we would have but the pools near our room (112) were in shade all day and seemed to be hardly used. The facilities at the hotel were great, two big pools (freshwater) with slides and a children’s pool. The slides were great, and we had so much fun racing down them. The lifeguards were second to none and watched everyone closely around the pool. The pool areas were clean and well maintained. After an issue on day one with there not being enough sun beds this was quickly rectified by the lifeguards and manager (thank you) to ensure all could sit comfortably with their families around the pool. The hotel is covid cautious in all the right ways, allowing family groups to sit and be together but encouraging those who are not travelling together to try their best to distance. There was always a large table a dinner for us and the hotel never ever felt over crowded. They encourage masks in all enclosed spaces and provided gloves to use whilst using the restaurant. We used the gym a few times, basic but had everything you needed for a short holiday work out – treadmill, bike cross-trainer, weights. We also visited the Spa – was lovely! The food and drink options were superb. The main restaurant had high quality food and lots of variety every meal, we never once ate out (which is usual for us on an AL as you get a bit fed up of the same things). The nights were authentically themed, - Mexican, Chinese, BBQ, Greek etc – everything was delicious. The best AL food we have ever had. Even the pool snack bar food was really good, everything made to order (burgers were a family fav!) Drinks were good, especially the cocktails – very strong but they would hold back if you asked them too! They even had a few varieties of each wine, just learn the name of the one you want and ask for that! The entertainment was amazing – we travelled with kids who took part in all the activities through the day and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening shows! Second to none! Fabulous team, definitely one of the highlights. The location was great, peaceful with stunning views. About 5 minutes walk down into the town of Protaras and 10/15 mins walk to fig tree beach. Weather was amazing too - 32 degres every day!! All in all we had an amazing week away and would recommend this hotel to families/couples

The St Elias Resort is a great family focused Cypriot destination, we found it perfect for an autumn half-term dose of sun. The hotel, rooms and grounds are spotlessly clean, the food is of a very high standard with lots of variety and my children adored the pool and very well run activities/kids club. Lastly, the staff were all v well trained and friendly, all in all, a great experience.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at St Elias. On arrival the receptionist was friendly and informative and showed us to our room. The resort is quite hilly with lots of steps, those with limited mobility may find it difficult. We had room 21 which is on the outskirts of the resort, but was up high so had amazing sea views, not only did we have a balcony but also a roof terrace which was perfect to soak up late afternoon sun. It would have been nice to have some sun loungers to utilise the space. the room facilities are excellent, kettle, fridge, hairdryer, air conditioning, only thing missing was an iron. The food was excellent, too much to choose from and we were impressed with the hygiene standards, you were required to wear gloves when handling tongs at the buffet, wear facemasks and the restaurant manager would limit the number of people to ensure it did not get overcrowded in the food area. We also recommend you pay a visit to the Meze restaurant, you need to pre book and it is included the all inclusive deal, the food was amazing! There are two pools and a jacuzzi, sun loungers became a bit scarce towards the end of our holiday, the hotel became really busy at the beginning of half term week, there is a no saving sun beds rule but its not enforced. The entertainment is aimed at the children only, it was very good, but there is no entertainment for adults, so we tended to sit in the quieter bar in the evening and play cards. All the staff were lovely and friendly and really made a difference to our holiday. We wouldn't hesitate to return to St Elias.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at this hotel. On arrival at 830pm we were greeted by the manager and dimitri the lifeguard took our bags to our room whilst we were taken to the restaurant and seated for dinner and given a glass of fizz - perfect start. The food at the restaurant is all excellent quality with a wide choice and loads of salads and fish which probably explains why I’ve not returned a stone heavier! The staff are all really friendly and work SOOO hard, they are all a credit to the hotel. The lifeguards do a great job and helped check over one of our party when he tripped and fell. The entertainment team were fantastic and again work incredibly hard. They knew all our children’s names and always greeted them when we saw them around the hotel. Jas, Katie, Gillian and will in particular were lovely!! The girls loved doing the Halloween crafts and playing juice pong :) the room we stayed In was very spacious and clean. We spent most days around the top pool which was a little chilly but okay once you’d been in a while! We had a trip to konnos beach one day as recommended by will and got a taxi there and back for 20 euros. It was beautiful but recommend getting there early as it gets quite busy in the afternoon. Protaras is a 10 min walk away and would recommend the Indian restaurant next door to the amusements as we had a fab meal there for my friends birthday. I went running during my stay along the sea front towards fig tree bay and back which was really gorgeous first thing in a morning! Also the hotel has its own Greek restaurant called mezze which you can book and is included in the all inclusive plus package. We ate here twice and the food was brilliant and they cater for kids too. We will most certainly stay here again and are already looking at Louis patheon in paphos for next year! Thanks for making our long overdue holiday so memorable and happy!
