The owners made my partner and I feel very welcome and made our stay very relaxing during this uncertain and worrying time. The room was nice, breakfast was lovely as was the evening meal. We decided to go to lunch in another pub a few miles away, as it had great reviews, but were very disappointed and wished we had tried the lunch at The Haymaker Inn instead. You could see that the owners genuinely care about their staff and what worries this second lockdown may bring. I really hope that once the country is up and running again that people will book to stay here as I feel it will be exactly what is needed if your looking for a stress free weekend away.

Stayed here for one night to break a long journey. Lovely friendly place, nice relaxed atmosphere, good room, lovely white sheets and towels and nice toiletries. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room, everything we needed. Room was nice and warm and we had a meal downstairs in the pub. Good pub food served by a very friendly and pleasant lady. Excellent breakfast, fresh and well cooked. We couldn’t fault it and would definitely recommend.

Six of us were booked at the Haymaker Inn for a meal on Sunday evening. I was given very clear information about arrival and procedures for Covid security. There was a warm welcome and a varied menu - good wholesome pub food. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the service was quick and friendly. Happy to recommend.

Just had another lovely stay at this great little pub/ B&B & once again had a great time. Can not recommend this lovely place enough. All Covid rules are being adhered to, not once did we feel uncomfortable with being their. Rooms were spotless, warm & comfortable. The food was gorgeous & fresh, both breakfast & evening meals with huge portions. Carrie,Jason & all their team were so friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Our 3 little pooches really appreciated their own sausage breakfasts. Hopefully see you all again soon.
