The hotel is located close enough to the city and very close to mouse island and the coastal bay.
The staff are super friendly and treated us almost like family, they were always asking us if we need anything and if everything is OK. We had the privilege of meeting and talking to Yaya (Grandmother in Greek) who bent over backwards to assure that me and my family only received the best of the best. Breakfast as always exciting for the kids as they would get to choose what they wanted to eat and drink. For dinner we had a 4 course meal include in our hotel rate and the kids loved going to dinner as for them it was a game of Guess what's for dinner, Spiro who was the waiter in the evening became a legend with my kids as he always treated them as his own and spoke to them in an amazing way. Service in the evening was fast and accurate and friendly. All in all we spent a great time at this hotel and the surrounding beaches. We traveled up to Paliokastritsa which is amazing in its own right (Look for my review on that) and Sidari to the channel Of love (again look for my review) Agios Georgios that for a different review. Near by the hotel (5 min walk) there is a supermarket and a (10 min walk) you have restaurants and bars with amazing views of the Ionian Sea.

My overall rating: I would gladly and happerly recommend this hotel to any family or couple wanting a relaxing week or two.

We are currently here on holiday and have found the hotel to be great for a short, sunny break.
The hotel itself has a lovely pool, which on the hot days (20 degrees plus), my daughter has loved swimming in. Its open from 9.30am-7pm, so it works visiting the pool around day trips.
The beds were comfy and we slept well. If you're staying later in the year bring warm bed clothes as it does get cool overnight.
We were greeted at the airport by prior arrangement, which took the hassle out of getting a taxi. I would recommend doing this!
Our TV (Samsung) connected to my phone so we could stream Netflix, iplayer etc in the evenings. Our 4g was better than the WiFi so we mainly used that connection.
I think due to coronavirus the complex is very quiet in terms of people. The restaurant wasn't in use whilst we were here. You are close to the airport run way so you can hear the noise of the planes, but this has not bothered us. The main road is nearby and you can hear that too, but the upside is being so close to the bus stop. There isn't much to do in close proximity, but you can walk across towards Pontikonisi for cafes/restaurants. We tended to eat out on day trips.
Our room was cleaned every day to a high standard.
For the price we paid we could not have asked for anymore.

We stayed at The Anita Hotel for four nights. Our room was upgraded to a family room. The owner, Alex, his family and staff could not do enough for us. They even cooked me a separate vegetarian meal each evening, at no extra cost to our half board included in the price.

A special mention to Spiros in the bar and Lisa on reception.

Great location for Mouse Island and buses into Corfu Town.

We will be back.

We had a fantastic week holiday at Hotel Anita - the staff were lovely and willing to help throughout our stay.

The location was quiet and endearing, close to Corfu town but slightly away from the hustle and bustle.

The food and drink too were surprisingly good, while any request was never too much hassle.

Would highly recommend and we will be planning a return in the future.

The only point of mention was that there is a bus stop outside the hotel which takes 10 minutes to reach the old town and reasonable at 5 Euro daily unlimited bus tickets (from a vendor) although sometimes the buses are infrequent - you can scan the QR code at the bus stop for real time updates.

We would recommend hiring a car, at least for a couple/few days to visit areas in the north/West of the island which are stunning.

The hotel is situated quite close to the airport, therefore, every incoming flight sounded and felt like an earthquake had hit. The hotel is also right next to a busy road so it can be quite noisy at night. The noise was an issue but of course, can't be helped, given the location. The staff were lovely and so accommodating. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and they were extremely helpful with any questions or if we were trying to find our way around. The hotel also is conveniently located right beside the number 6 bus stop, this bus leads you right to the green bus station if you wish to travel around the island and it is so easy to get into Corfu town. The buses run quite regularly and early during the weekdays which was great for us as we planned to go to Albania.

What a fantastic little hotel. Warm friendly atmosphere. Lovely staff. Can’t fault them. The hotel and rooms are kept spotlessly clean. Our room was cleaned every day by a lovely lady. It smelled and looked great afterwards. Towels and sheets changed regularly. The restaurant is great. Lovely buffet breakfast that sets you up for the day and food is good and reasonably priced. The gardens and pool area are beautiful. There are a few tavernas close by. We liked Aegli up the hill. The local cafe is good as well. The hotel is on the number 6 bus route which runs between Corfu town and Benitses so really convenient. We hired a scooter to explore the Island which is gorgeous. The hotel is near Mouse Island and you can walk to Corfu town over Pontikonisi bridge. It’s about 3.5 miles and takes you past Mon Repos where prince philip was born. Worth a visit. Admittedly it’s near the airport but we enjoyed watching he planes come and go. If you’re a Durrells fan you can see the Strawberry Villa from the hotel.

Thanks to all the staff for a fabulous holiday

Love Jo and Johnny room 28

Location was perfect - easy access to all other parts of the island and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Car hire on site and transfer to airport made the travel experience a breeze. Spotless room, great breakfast and lovely pool and side area to relax.

Just got back from spending Greek Easter at this lovely hotel!
The hotel is very near Corfu Town just a short bus ride away. The rooms were lovely and very clean! The pool is spotless and a lovely area to sit and relax!
I have traveled around Greece on many holidays over 40 years and met some lovely family owners (as I prefer small family run apartments) I truly have to say that the owners, Aleko and Irene are, as my title says, “simply the BEST!!” They go above and beyond with their hospitality 100%! Alekos mum is a lovely lady, she offered me her jacket to go into Corfu town one evening as it was a bit chilly on a night, what a lovely gesture! All the family have a great sense of humour, I had lots of laughs with them all! My son and his partner came along with me on this holiday (they usually stay in posh hotels) I have changed the way they will book holidays now as they have never experienced such hospitality with this lovely family!
Thank you so much Aleko, Irene, Alekos mum and all the lovely staff. You gave us all a holiday to remember for ever!
Love Lynda, Stephen and Carly

Honestly one of the worst hotels I’ve ever been! The told us we would stay in a bungalows and when we got there the showed us a room up on a hill that we had to get there with our car every day which was really tough, there was absolutely no light at nigh as we were trying to get in the room and the building was horrible like it was falling apart! Although the inside was renovated I have no complaints about that but everything else was terrible!!! We had social tourism tickets that why ig we were put there but no one told us didn’t inform us abt staying up on a hill before we booked the room! Be careful

When we were booking to go for a week (two couples), bed and breakfast, (half board is available as well) in Corfu, the people we knew who have already been there told us that we should stay in the Hotel Anita, situated in Perama, in the ideal central part of the island, just 6kms from the airport and central town,....so we took heed to their advice and did so. I should really say that we could not have made a better choice.
This is a family run hotel, i.e. it is managed by an elderly couple, their sons and grandsons. Their splendid characters really make you feel welcome and give you a sense of enjoyment and "jois de vivre".
They are really helpful, they really guided us in our choice of places to visit and excursions (they also have optional package excursions, with great prices), which made our holiday a memorable experience.
The rooms were super clean, all airconditioned (little extra cost), with a satellite tv, a small fridge-freezer, and ensuite bathroom with shower....all spick and span, since the rooms are frequently cleaned. All rooms feature a large balcony with a few chairs and a table, overlooking the green areas around the hotel...really ideal for chilling out in the evening. The hotel features also a small pool, and a lovely yard (just be careful for the mosquitoes, use the anti mosquito spray frequently)
Breakfast is continental and it was really good, bread was very fresh, and it gives you the energy for another adventurous day round the island.
The price in twin ranges between 17 and 28 euros per person per night, making it a very good deal, in our case, it was about 18-20 euros per person per night (bed and breakfast).
What we really enjoyed though, was the traditional Corfoit values that these people kept nowadays, they organized us a traditional greek party in the evening and a barbecue night (all are optional), there was dancing as well by the sons of the owner, with great food and really good prices and they also introduced us to the various sorts of traditional food, beer, spirits , liqueurs and all the tastes of Corfu`.
I now really long to visit the island and the hotel again, totally worth it, no rants at all!!

Dear Sir/Madam, There is a Bus from the airport to Corfu Town Center (SanRocco Square). Sanrocco square is the terminal for all blue buses in Corfu. From there you have to get on Blue Bus number "6" for Benitses which stops 20 meters before Anita Hotel Entrance. Kind Regards Alexandros

The hotel closes over the winter on the past until around April. This year I believe they intended to stay open all year. As long as the hotel is open the pool is open.
