Summer Memories Aparthotel is ideally located, with its own swimming pool and pool bar, just five minutes from the beach and even closer to the centre of Pefkos where you will find bars and tavernas. A lovely family run hotel with no frills but a warm welcome, good food and comfy beds. We stayed at Summer Memories for 5 nights and left feeling like we’d made new friends. Stavros and his mum Deborah are lovely people and will look after you. Nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel so comfortable. We stayed in a triple studio apartment, the only thing I would say is that they only have a double bed and a single, not three singles available, which was fine for the 3 of us as it was me and my two children, but just be aware. We ate breakfast here daily and the food was always freshly made and delicious, can recommend the omelettes! The pool and sun-bed area is very clean and there are more than enough sun beds. The hotel location is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of ‘the strip’, without it being noisy and centrally located for Lee beach, St Thomas Beach and Plakia beach. If you’re looking for a traditional place to stay then I would recommend here and will be returning.

What a fab place!🌟 My partner and I have just returned from a week at Summer Memories in Pefkos. Stavros is brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us, so friendly and helpful. Jo at the bar was great too, they make you feel so welcomed. Our room had a newly fitted modern bathroom, with a fantastic waterfall shower. The room was spotlessly clean and the cleaners were so friendly too. We had breakfast included with our stay, this went on from 8:30-12:00, which was great if you wanted a late breakfast/brunch. The food was delicious and you could choose from a wide selection of savoury and sweet options from the menu. We also had lunch at the hotel a few times, which was also super tasty and reasonably priced. Also, everyone else who was staying at the hotel was really friendly, the whole place had a lovely atmosphere. Everyone we spoke to said they would be coming back to Summer Memories again. We have visited Pefkos fir the past several years, this was our first time staying at Summer Memories, and most definitely won't be our last. The location is ideal, located centrally on the main strip in Pefkos, it is surrounded by a rich selection of bars and restaurants,but is just far enough in off the road that you don't hear the noise coming from the main street. There are a variety of beaches within a short stroll, and a well stocked mini Market directly opposite.
The hotel benefits from a well proportioned pool, with a small pool for toddlers and plenty of sun loungers. There is a wide selection on the menu in the bar of both food and drinks/cocktails. The food is really good, we had breakfast and lunch there most days as there was so much variety and the food was great quality and tasty.
The grounds of the hotel are lovely, with pomegranate, fig and lemon trees, frangipani and bougainvillea in abundance giving it a lovely tropical feel.
We stayed in room 8 and found it spacious, plenty of storage space too.
Definitely the best part of the stay was how welcome Stavros and his family made us feel during our stay. We were always greeted with a friendly smile each day, and no request was too much. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, can't wait to return again soon.

First the positives. The apartments are in a great position for the centre of Pefkos and also the beach. Check in was easy and the family who run it are friendly and welcoming. We had a studio on the ground floor which was fairly spacious and had a TV that you could get Sky news on. As we booked direct the A/C and safe were included in the price. We also tried the food which was reasonably priced and tasty. The beds were also quite comfortable. The booking process was good and they responded quickly to our requests. However sadly we feel the negatives outweigh the positives. Mainly the cleaning was very haphazard. There was none on a Sunday at all not even the bins in the bathroom and kitchen were emptied. For our first few days they were emptied every other day however things deteriorated. We had been out for the day and came back to find the room had not been serviced. On complaining we were given some toilet roll and were told they would be cleaned the next day. On asking how often the bins should be emptied we were told every day. This did not happen once during our stay despite complaining. The towels were very thin and grey and no longer white and when they changed them they didn't take the dirty ones away. Despite informing the owner we had a very large pile of dirty towels at the end of the holiday. Even when the beds had been changed there were still stains on the sheets . Under the bed was very dusty and we found a child's toy under there. This makes us question how thoroughly it was cleaned between guests. Perhaps the management should randomly check rooms after cleaning to maintain a good standard over the whole complex. The pool area was littered with broken sun beds and those you could use were so close together it was an obstacle course to get to the pool. They were also not particularly clean. For our second week we chose to use another pool. Despite notices that towels reserving sun beds would be removed this was not the case and so you did struggle to find one, Also the WIFI could do with being improved. We have stayed many places in Pefkos that have been basic but very clean.

Summer Memories is in a good central position but am sorry to say it badly needs upgrading. The showers are tiny and the water supply can go off at any moment as can the electricity both of which take hours to be fixed. The towels are as rough as sandpaper and the toilet tissue is of the cheapest variety necessitating guests having to buy better quality. The “cleaning” is perfunctory and for a very hot country the sheets are not changed regularly - you have to take them off yourself and put them on the floor to get the message through to the maids that you require clean sheets.
The cutlery provided for self catering is sparse virtually no utensils. A few mugs probably left by guests are the only hot liquid drinking vessels. Also the toilet brush and holder were filthy - no idea when they were last disinfected. Unfortunately I would not go there again despite the good location.

Our second visit here in 3 years. Like most 2* accommodation in Pefkos it's basic but perfectly acceptable for the price. A family run establishment who are all friendly and attentive. The central location of this place is a big plus for us and you are literally a 2 minute walk from bars and tavernas. The pool is a decent size and on our most recent visit comfortable enough to jump straight in for a cool off. One negative would be that many of the sun beds have seen better days and the fabric has collapsed so that you can feel the plastic frames on some of them which make them quite uncomfortable. Some fresh new sun beds would be a great idea. Had breakfasts here most mornings which are fine for me but maybe a little small if you have a hearty appetite. The beds are vary comfortable and possibly some of the best in this resort based on my previous stays in Pefkos. The shower was powerful and had plenty of hot water on demand. In hot weather you need to factor in 8 Euros per day for Air Conditioning which can add up on a 10 day stay. All in all I would definitely stay here again on future visits purely for the comfy beds and it's central location.

Spent a week earlier this month at Summer Memories on a last-minute deal with Jet2. I didn't know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was a good size with a nice balcony. I found the bed very comfortable. There were basic cooking facilities (two electric rings) that I didn't use but I did use the microwave and the kettle regularly. The shower was great - plenty of hot water. All the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful when I asked about the village, which I had never visited. The bar does drinks and a range of snacks - I had a splendid vegetarian omelette for breakfast one day and a very tasty Greek salad another time. The hotel is very handy for a range of tavernas and bars. There is a supermarket about 100 yards away and the bus stop for services to Lindos and Rhodes is about 200 yards away. I would certainly stay here again.

Go to summer memories twice a year, love this place, the family are lovely and very friendly, nothing is too much bother to them. My husband is disabled and the owner made a ramp for him to get into the apartment with the mobility scooter, he also put a grab rail in the bathroom. The rooms are clean and if you are behind the bar they are soundproofed so you don’t hear anything.

My wife and I have spent at least two weeks at Summer Memories every year since 2008. This is the perfect place to stay in Pefkos you are very near to all the bars and restaurants and only a 15 min walk to the beach and no hills to climb. Summer Memories is very well run by a lovely friendly and very helpful family. The rooms are always well presented and very clean with efficient Air conditioning. The pool is always clean and water clear. There is a very good pool bar open all day and evening with entertainment some evenings all bar prices are very reasonable. A very good choice of good quality food is available throughout the day. We have recommended Summer Memories to family and friends who have all also had an enjoyable stay. There are nice gardens around the apartments and the whole complex is well maintained and spotlessly clean.

I recently stayed here with my father for a weekend holiday as I was in town for a family wedding.
The staff are very friendly, chatty and hospitable. I really enjoyed the cocktails!
Stavros, his girlfriend and his mother were the main staff that I met here. All we’re very friendly and would do anything they could to make our stay better.
Although I found Rhodes in august to be a little too hot for my liking, I would definitely like to return to this hotel for a longer holiday with my children.
The rooms had everything that we needed, we were just outside the pool and our front patio was in the shade most of the time, which for me was nice.
The hotel is in a great location, with a shop just over the main road along with many restaurants. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to explore the local area.
Coming back here for a week or two is definitely on my bucket list!
