Air con is a must and costs 15€ per day so an expensive addition to the holiday.
They will only give 1 room key (they are scared that people will leave the air con on as the key controls this) the down side is if one of the couple are late back it’s knocking on doors waking other people around we experienced this on more than 1 occasion. Banging room doors is a nightmare particularly at 2am as is the scraping of chairs on the floor (felt pad on chair legs would stop this and make it quieter.
The pool area could be cleaner during our stay I witnessed empty plastic bottles left lying around and punctured inflatables left for days around and in the pool.
All in all a lot of improvement needed

I supposed it reflect the price or what you may think it costs.
If arrive late after apx 3 or 4 hours flight plus 1.5 hours on the bus (like us) there is nothing open not even a vending machine to eat or drink in the hotel or the area,
On arrival you be charged to your bill 90 for AC (Per week is hot you need this!) 35 for late checkout (you need this if your flight is late (as check out is 12 mid day) and 10 for local tax so about 135 Euros.
If need towel for the pool = 15 euros
If you including breakfast you may be disappointed as is very very basic, cereals, toast, cheap ham, tomatoes cheap cheese slices, olives, and boiled eggs.
If you fancy omelette, fried eggs or English breakfast you need to pay. We just walked down the road there is lovely places by the sea and got our own although we had breakfast included.
Bar is very basic, make sure you stick to bottles or draft beers as spirits are not original but the prices are… For a hotel café/bar prices are high. Bottle of sprite 5 Euros!!
Rooms are very clean and in good order although some are dated, no tea or coffee in the room no sugars nothing but there is a kettle and cups? No hair driers! Some of the rooms are in the ground level with only walls for view.
Staff is hit and miss take It or leave it attitude (the cleaners work hard)
Pool is nice and clean, sun loungers same as everywhere first come first served
Beach is not far but spaces are limited) is very narrow (if you get up a bit late there is none left) Sun beds 30 euros!
The town has plenty restaurants and bars, we recommended to hire a car to see what’s nearby as Lindos, Rhodes town or a half decent beach etc..

We were in room 209 and were staying on a bed and breakfast basis. There are no self catering facilities in the b&b rooms but there’s a very useful fridge for cold drinks.
We were bought by minibus at 2.20 am all the way to the hotel even though we had come prepared to walk from the top of the road and bought a torch with us!! Guess we were lucky.
Fantastically positioned for the beach and some rooms have sea views. It took us less than five minutes to walk to a fabulous beach with golden sand and gentle waves.
The breakfast is plentiful and on a continental theme. You can pay for an English breakfast if you feel the need but cereal and toast and a choice of coffee types were always plentiful.
The snack menu at the bar wax fantastic and reasonably priced and we’ve just eaten a lovely mixed grill off the main evening menu. Cocktails are generous and freshly blended by Mike the barman to order as well as smoothies and milkshakes.
There are snacks and ice creams available on site to buy too.
All in all a great place to stay. We got a taxi to Lindos today for 25 Euros round trip and climbed up to the acropolis through the winding lanes through the myriad of shops.
I would not hesitate to return to the hotel and will be recommending to family and friends
On arrival, we were informed that there is air conditioning available but at a fee of 15 euros a night, in today's age this should be as standard, maybe add this to the cost of the holiday.
As the 10 days went on it became more and more apparent that the rooms were not regularly cleaned with hair visible in the sinks.
Towels only changed twice a week and similar the bedding.
On one occasion the changed bedding was clearly not clean and yellow stains were visible.
Tiles were missing from the shower room floor.
Also the shower pressure was of a poor quality, during the evening after a day at the pool or beach we were unable to have a shower. The lady on the reception gave the response that Pefkos suffers with pressure loss and we should consider taking a shower at different times of the day. When the showers were turned on you can clearly hear water in the system.
Apart from the poorly run hotel the pool area was clean and well looked after.
The restaurant and bar area was also of a high standard with the bar staff offering great drinks and a rage of food throughout the day, such a shame about the hotel, the hotel staff could learn a few things about standards from the bar/restaurant and pool staff.

The room we had was basic but spotlessly clean; we couldn't fault it! The housekeeper works hard and is lovely and friendly. The hotel is small and has a 'family' feel to it, all of the staff are hardworking and helpful. The staff at the bar (Panos, Michael and Manolis, I think) made us feel very welcome, and made efforts to learn guests' names, which was a lovely touch. All of the staff were great and very accommodating. We arrived at 2.30am due to delays with our Tui flight and didn't have any issues. No food or drinks on arrival, but we didn't expect any, so it wasn't a problem for us.
Pool is gorgeous, plenty of sunbeds which are really comfy. Beach only a 5 min walk away, and plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within a 5-10 min walk in the other direction. We also hired a car for a few days, and we're able to park at the hotel.
On our final day, checkout was 12:00 (more generous than many hotels) but our flight wasn't until 9pm. We were able to hold onto the towels from our room and store all of our luggage all day, and when we returned to the hotel (after a day at the waterpark!) there were shower rooms so we could freshen up and change before our transfer to the airport.
Would definitely return to Amphitriti again, would highly recommend it, and for a 2/3 star hotel it's absolutely outstanding!

Pefkos is a lovely place with a great choice of restaurants and bars, more small and friendly than your clubbing kind of bars. Can highly recommend the pefki Irish bar as the staff in there are so nice, regards to Janet and crew! Dama dama restaurant on Lee beach road is a must. It’s a family run restaurant and the food is exquisite and the service is fab! We liked Tsombakis (or something like that st the top of the hill) as it had a great view, the food was nice but Dama Dama atmosphere was better. The bakery below tsombakis is great and do the most delicious baklava and Greek decalicies. A definite worthwhile walk up the hill! Pefkos is a great area and a short bus ride to Lindos and lardos €1.80 each way pp. lindos is beautiful and well worth a visit to the acropolis, go early to avoid the heat and crowds though and do it on your own, as you have more time than with a guided tour. Lots to see in Lindos that a guided tour doesn’t allow. Rhodes old town is amazing and again, you can get the local bus from Pefkos for €6 each way pp. takes a while but you see lots of other places along the way. Brilliant stay in Pefkos at Amphriti and would definitely stay again. Would look to go in May/ oct time as it’s not as hot as jun/ sept. Air con costs €110 per week if needed.
