We have just returned from a lovely week at this hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff were very helpfull and friendly. We were in room 201 which had been refurbished the shower was fantastic and the air con which did cost extra €90 but was much needed in the temperatures we had. Pool loungers were so comfy and thr staff in the pool bar were lovely. Perfect location next to beach and short walk to the mainstrip. A very chilled out week

Stayed here for 2 weeks end of June into July this year. Tbh I was quite worried after reading some previous reviews but honestly this hotel was great. We had room 104 which had a view of the pool and the sea. The room was great we had a fridge and a balcony. The bathroom was compact but it had a shower, toilet and sink so really what else do you need? Bed was very comfortable. There was no hairdryer in the room but I was provided with one by reception upon asking with no issues. Cleaning ladies were great, every other day they were in they mopped the floors and changed the sheets twice a week. All the staff were really friendly they all work really hard none of them had a day off while we were there. The food in the hotel was really good a club sandwich was like 8 euro, salads were like 8 to 10 euro. A large beer was 4.50 euro and cocktails were 7. They did a happy hour 5 til 8 every day which was a euro off cocktails bottles of beer and wine. It was a few mins walk to the beach and then 5 to 8 mins up to the main street. Like others have said, Tui do not drop you at the hotel and it is about a 5 to 8 min walk down to the hotel, it's not a difficult wall down to it and you turn right before you get to the beach. The only issue is walking back up in the heat with your cases for the pick up to go home which isn't ideal especially if you are elderly or your mobility isn't great. All in all we had a fab holiday here all the staff were really friendly food and drink was good, you could always get a sunlounger and they were really good sunloungers as well. The property is in an ideal spot for everything and we would happily go back to this accommodation

Me and my partner were more than satisfied with the view from the room, the cleanliness and the politeness from the cleaning staff. Breakfast was continental but still very filling, could not thank the bar staff enough; always well mannered and making sure everyone was happy. The chef was amazing, the best food I had ever tasted everyday, not one meal on the menu which he couldn’t perfect. Mike the barman at night never struggled to create conversation with everyone and poured a very good drink ! Fantastic sun loungers, which were very comfy and a big enough pool. Location is perfect, not close enough to hear all the noise from the main bars and restaurants but perfectly placed (10 minute walk to the main strip of restaurants and pubs, with 5 minute walk to the beach). Overall we would stop here again and we are more than satisfied with everything the staff did for us.

We have stayed at this hotel most years since it opened and this time was bad. We knew about the walk down the road as the pick up service from the owners stopped due to Covid so paid for a taxi from the airport (79€) only to find TUI now offer a minibus to the door. Room 305 overlooking the pool was in need of refurbishment as was the rest of the hotel. The bathroom flooded when showering as the drain didn’t take the water away (don’t know if it was blocked or not fit for purpose) you do get a bath mat but is totally ineffective. Toilet paper was via a dispenser but tissue paper thin so we bought our own. Stayed b&b which is available from 8am but for the last 20 years has not changed tinned peaches, fruit cocktail, yoghurt cheap ham cheese and ?turkey with the cheapest bread. Chef came on duty at 8.30 to cook boiled eggs (often cold) some days other days it was undercooked croissants and choc au pain hence if your an early riser you missed out. Staff member Gery spent his time chatting up and flirting with young girls and playing his type of loud music instead taking note of the average age of the holiday maker and catering to that as Mike (night bar man) did on a daily basis.
Air con is a must and costs 15€ per day so an expensive addition to the holiday.
They will only give 1 room key (they are scared that people will leave the air con on as the key controls this) the down side is if one of the couple are late back it’s knocking on doors waking other people around we experienced this on more than 1 occasion. Banging room doors is a nightmare particularly at 2am as is the scraping of chairs on the floor (felt pad on chair legs would stop this and make it quieter.
The pool area could be cleaner during our stay I witnessed empty plastic bottles left lying around and punctured inflatables left for days around and in the pool.
All in all a lot of improvement needed

Dear holidaymakers we hope this will help you with made mind up when booking this hotel.
I supposed it reflect the price or what you may think it costs.
If arrive late after apx 3 or 4 hours flight plus 1.5 hours on the bus (like us) there is nothing open not even a vending machine to eat or drink in the hotel or the area,
On arrival you be charged to your bill 90 for AC (Per week is hot you need this!) 35 for late checkout (you need this if your flight is late (as check out is 12 mid day) and 10 for local tax so about 135 Euros.
If need towel for the pool = 15 euros
If you including breakfast you may be disappointed as is very very basic, cereals, toast, cheap ham, tomatoes cheap cheese slices, olives, and boiled eggs.
If you fancy omelette, fried eggs or English breakfast you need to pay. We just walked down the road there is lovely places by the sea and got our own although we had breakfast included.
Bar is very basic, make sure you stick to bottles or draft beers as spirits are not original but the prices are… For a hotel café/bar prices are high. Bottle of sprite 5 Euros!!
Rooms are very clean and in good order although some are dated, no tea or coffee in the room no sugars nothing but there is a kettle and cups? No hair driers! Some of the rooms are in the ground level with only walls for view.
Staff is hit and miss take It or leave it attitude (the cleaners work hard)
Pool is nice and clean, sun loungers same as everywhere first come first served
Beach is not far but spaces are limited) is very narrow (if you get up a bit late there is none left) Sun beds 30 euros!
The town has plenty restaurants and bars, we recommended to hire a car to see what’s nearby as Lindos, Rhodes town or a half decent beach etc..

We are currently here and can’t understand the complaints! Yes the rooms are basic but very clean and modern. Cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed daily. The cleaners work so hard in the blistering heat and do a fab job even leaving lovely towel art.
We were in room 209 and were staying on a bed and breakfast basis. There are no self catering facilities in the b&b rooms but there’s a very useful fridge for cold drinks.
We were bought by minibus at 2.20 am all the way to the hotel even though we had come prepared to walk from the top of the road and bought a torch with us!! Guess we were lucky.
Fantastically positioned for the beach and some rooms have sea views. It took us less than five minutes to walk to a fabulous beach with golden sand and gentle waves.
The breakfast is plentiful and on a continental theme. You can pay for an English breakfast if you feel the need but cereal and toast and a choice of coffee types were always plentiful.
The snack menu at the bar wax fantastic and reasonably priced and we’ve just eaten a lovely mixed grill off the main evening menu. Cocktails are generous and freshly blended by Mike the barman to order as well as smoothies and milkshakes.
There are snacks and ice creams available on site to buy too.
All in all a great place to stay. We got a taxi to Lindos today for 25 Euros round trip and climbed up to the acropolis through the winding lanes through the myriad of shops.
I would not hesitate to return to the hotel and will be recommending to family and friends

Delayed holiday due to COVID, First impressions were that the drop off was only a 200m which is no issue tbh, the coach would not have been able to have got down the small road.
On arrival, we were informed that there is air conditioning available but at a fee of 15 euros a night, in today's age this should be as standard, maybe add this to the cost of the holiday.
As the 10 days went on it became more and more apparent that the rooms were not regularly cleaned with hair visible in the sinks.
Towels only changed twice a week and similar the bedding.
On one occasion the changed bedding was clearly not clean and yellow stains were visible.
Tiles were missing from the shower room floor.
Also the shower pressure was of a poor quality, during the evening after a day at the pool or beach we were unable to have a shower. The lady on the reception gave the response that Pefkos suffers with pressure loss and we should consider taking a shower at different times of the day. When the showers were turned on you can clearly hear water in the system.
Apart from the poorly run hotel the pool area was clean and well looked after.
The restaurant and bar area was also of a high standard with the bar staff offering great drinks and a rage of food throughout the day, such a shame about the hotel, the hotel staff could learn a few things about standards from the bar/restaurant and pool staff.

First of all you are dropped off at the top of the road about 5 to 10 minutes walk down a poorly lit road not great with 4 cases at half 2 in the morning, coach driver just points down the road, Tui don't inform you off this either. Then theres the 210 euros for aircon for 2 weeks which I do think is very expensive! which again I found out through reading reviews theres no information given by tui beforehand. Man who checked us in was very polite and helpful though. Rooms are very basic, the beds and especially the pillows are very uncomfortable. air con didn't work great either. There is no do not disturb sign to put on the door either sometimes maids would knock on before 10 or be in the room when you come back from breakfast so you have wait to get back into room. and if you dont have your room cleaned when she knocks then it doesn't get done that day, also bathroom wasn't cleaned once while we were there beds and towels were changed a couple of times. Shower was hit and miss sometimes was freezing sometimes you could get warm water. Breakfast is very basic again didn't really bother with it after the first few days. Couldn't comment on the pool area as it's very small no beds available by early on so we went the beach and into the resort every day which is a short walk. I get the impression from the hotel that they only like to help you when you spend money at the hotel or your a regular visitor by speaking to other guests there as well. Lady on reception even suggested to us that we should use the pool instead of the beach when we were trying to arrange late checkout which we never got in the end, other guests had said that comments had been made to them about not spending money at the hotel. There is facilities to shower if you have late checkout. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the beach and close to the main strip so its location is good. All in all I would avoid this hotel, Pefkos and Rhodes is beautiful and I'm sure there are much better places to stay in pefkos.

My husband and I stayed at Amphitriti Hotel for 7 nights, room and breakfast, and we were very happy with the hotel, for the price we paid especially.

The room we had was basic but spotlessly clean; we couldn't fault it! The housekeeper works hard and is lovely and friendly. The hotel is small and has a 'family' feel to it, all of the staff are hardworking and helpful. The staff at the bar (Panos, Michael and Manolis, I think) made us feel very welcome, and made efforts to learn guests' names, which was a lovely touch. All of the staff were great and very accommodating. We arrived at 2.30am due to delays with our Tui flight and didn't have any issues. No food or drinks on arrival, but we didn't expect any, so it wasn't a problem for us.

Pool is gorgeous, plenty of sunbeds which are really comfy. Beach only a 5 min walk away, and plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within a 5-10 min walk in the other direction. We also hired a car for a few days, and we're able to park at the hotel.

On our final day, checkout was 12:00 (more generous than many hotels) but our flight wasn't until 9pm. We were able to hold onto the towels from our room and store all of our luggage all day, and when we returned to the hotel (after a day at the waterpark!) there were shower rooms so we could freshen up and change before our transfer to the airport.

Would definitely return to Amphitriti again, would highly recommend it, and for a 2/3 star hotel it's absolutely outstanding!

Booked a 7 night stay, self catering in the small and friendly Amphitriti apartments in Pefkos, Rhodes with my partner. We had a superb garden view studio which was spotlessly clean, massive double bed, great shower and kitchen facilities including a full size fridge (not the usual tiny fridge) great location for Lee Beach and Pefkos village itself. 5-10 minute gentle walk to both. The staff at Amphitriti are so friendly and very welcoming, they keep it so clean. The pool is nice with a good selection of loungers if you don’t want to go to the beach. The beach loungers cost €12 per day for two with an umbrella but this is for all day if needed.

Pefkos is a lovely place with a great choice of restaurants and bars, more small and friendly than your clubbing kind of bars. Can highly recommend the pefki Irish bar as the staff in there are so nice, regards to Janet and crew! Dama dama restaurant on Lee beach road is a must. It’s a family run restaurant and the food is exquisite and the service is fab! We liked Tsombakis (or something like that st the top of the hill) as it had a great view, the food was nice but Dama Dama atmosphere was better. The bakery below tsombakis is great and do the most delicious baklava and Greek decalicies. A definite worthwhile walk up the hill! Pefkos is a great area and a short bus ride to Lindos and lardos €1.80 each way pp. lindos is beautiful and well worth a visit to the acropolis, go early to avoid the heat and crowds though and do it on your own, as you have more time than with a guided tour. Lots to see in Lindos that a guided tour doesn’t allow. Rhodes old town is amazing and again, you can get the local bus from Pefkos for €6 each way pp. takes a while but you see lots of other places along the way. Brilliant stay in Pefkos at Amphriti and would definitely stay again. Would look to go in May/ oct time as it’s not as hot as jun/ sept. Air con costs €110 per week if needed.
