At Gaia Garden Hotel, the staff's dedication and the charming ambiance, complete with thematic decorations and events, stand out for guests. While the spotless rooms and well-maintained pool and garden areas are consistently praised, opinions on room quality and inclusions vary, with some finding them dated or basic. Cleanliness is a highlight, and the proximity to Kos town is appreciated for its convenience. However, views on value diverge, with the cost being a point of contention for those unsatisfied with the food offerings and location.

This is my first time planning a holiday and let me tell you this hotel did not disappoint! I was hopeful about this hotel as there were very few negative reviews. The hotel is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. The rooms are spacious enough with a balcony, air con and tv. We saw one ant which is to be expected and didn’t see any cockroaches as some of the negative reviews were talking about. The staff at reception, the restaurant and the bar are so lovely and speak great english. The cleaners don’t speak great English but they are so lovely too, they even decorated our room with flowers midway through our stay as we were a couple. The food is amazing and they prepared food for us on our first night despite us arriving after the buffet had closed. We were nervous about how far the local shop would be but it was a five minute walk and the stunning local beach was only a 10 minute walk away. We went to the beach at sunset and it was honestly breathtaking. The local town is about a 20 minute walk away but definitely worth it. The only things to be aware of are cocktails are not included in the all inclusive deal and the hot tub by the gym isn’t in season in April. Having said this, cocktails are cheap (€7) so this wasn’t a problem for us and the weather was hot enough in April for us to use the pool so we weren’t too bothered about the hot tub being unavailable. Would 100% go back!!!

People make a place. The team at the Gaia Garden have made our family, and all the other guests, feel like extremely welcome. The pool varies from 1m to 3m depth so caters for all abilities, with a smaller area for the very young.

The housekeeping team is super swift and efficient which made our stay even more comfortable if we just wanted to stay in our patio and relax amongst the trees and bushes.

Great for families and our teenagers met others and we didn't see much of them after that. The compound feels super secure so we weren't worried when they were out of earshot or line of sight.

My wife hates cats but even the feline residents here were quiet and unobtrusive.

All in all, we've had a fantastic break here and we offer our thanks to the team for making this week special for all of us. Efharisto.

My friend and I arrived (via coach transfer) after midnight expecting simply to be shown to out room. Before we even set foot in the place, we both exclaimed "oh wow!" The entrance is beautiful.
The gentleman who greeted us, made sure we had all the information we needed told us we had two free drinks at the bar (all inclusive) and provided us with sandwiches, two pieces of fruit and a bottle of water each. We could not have been made to feel more welcome!
Meal times were easy. You had to wear a mask and disposable gloves in order to help yourself to the unrestricted hot and cold buffet. The waiting staff were attentive and polite, clearing plates efficiently. I recommend anything they make involving spinach, the tomatoes at breakfast are tremendous and the desserts selection is perfection.
The all inclusive bar is limited, but the measures are very generous. The bar staff work extremely hard and will always take time to make you feel important.
We booked excursions to Nisyros (active volcano) and Zia (awesome mountain sunset) with the reception staff who were incredibly helpful. I highly recommend both these tours.
Kos Town is around 1km away a lovely easy walk as it's flat. The harbour there is stunning. If walking is not your thing there is a company literally across the road from the hotel where you xan hire bicycles, electric bicycles, mopeds, cars, quads etc so you can tour the island in your own way.
Turn right out of the hotel to find the supermarket that has a gift shop attached, keep heading straight on past the supermarket to the beach. The beach is beautiful.
The hotel gardens are exceptional, take the time to walk the grounds and explore the beautiful plants. There are four very rsre flowers grown in these grounds. I suggest you dowoad the Seek app, a great little app that gives you a lot of info on the plants and wildlife you photograph. I had so much fun with that! A heads up though these are gardens, gardens attract wildlife, insect repellent is your friend.
I have so much love for Gaia Gardens, for the staff: Rachel, Elson, Socrates, to name a few of the people who made our stay memorable and special.

Σας ευχαριστώ to all the staff of Gaia Gardens for making my first visit to Greece 🇬🇷 so memorable that I did not want to leave. I have already been looking at booking for another visit.

We have recently returned from a week's break at the Gaia Garden Hotel. Due to delays outbound, we didn't arrive at the hotel until gone 3am. They had a food package waiting for us on arrival.
The bar staff were friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. The 'all inclusive' drinks option was limited, but suited our tastes.
Restaurant staff were great. Buffet food options were fine for non-vegetarians. Vegetarian options were very limited.
Reception staff were helpful whenever needed.
Bedrooms were basic, but very clean. Image of toilet requirements added (which covers the whole Island).

You can book a shower room for 30 mins on your day of departure if you do not leave shortly after the 11:00am check out time.

This small greek family run hotel is an absolute gem. Beautiful gardens, delicious food, amazing friendly hard working staff..who we had such fun with and made our holiday evenmore special. Love the fact they don't allow those early sunbed hoggers and towels will be removed if left for more than 2 hours...YAY! Shame all hotels don't put this in place. So glad we had booked for 14 days as 7 days would definately not been enough for us. We don't normally go back to the same hotels. But, we just fell in love with this hotel and would go back in a heartbeat. See you again Gaia Gardens and you beautiful staff.

We have just arrived back from a week at Gaia Gardens and it was lovely. The whole place has a charm and the staff could not be more welcoming and helpful if they tried. We loved everything about it, the food, room, pool and staff. There are a few things that could be improved, as stated before their all inclusive drinks are very limited. Including gin and vodka would have greatly improved it for me. But saying that the holiday was very cheap so didnt begrudge having to buy some drinks. I would strongly recommend hiring a bike for the week. It is very cheap and you can keep it at the hotel. Kos town is walkable but if you want to go down there alot, it is easier by bike and there are cycle paths all the way. We went on the three island cruise from Kos harbour in one of the pirate boats and it was an amazing day and brilliant value at 20 euros each which includes lunch. A visit in Thermes hot springs is well worth it. You can get the bus from Kos town for a couple of euros return. The reception at the hotel are very helpful and will give you maps and timetable to get around the island. I would recommend this hotel for familes, couples, friends, it suits everyone. Thank you Gaia Gardens we will definetley be back.

Last year I visited this beautiful hotel for second time. We had an absolutely fabulous time again in a really lovely room set in wonderful gardens. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made our trip so memorable. The food was plentiful and delicious and we spent happy evenings in the poolside bar where the bar staff were more like friends to us. We had booked again for May and if we are unable to travel this year with the Coronavirus pandemic we will definitely be booking as soon as we can to return to this fantastic hotel!!

Good morning from Kos Island and Gaia Garden, Thank you very much for your kind message and kind review <3 Here @ Kos it is very quiet and we are very lucky for the moment because we have no cases on the island. And in general, Greece had put very very early so many restrictions to the people not to circulate and to travel, and this has helped a lot to maintain very low the cases of people affected with the virus in Greece. We hope that all countries find as soon as possible the best solution to this unpleasant situation and that everything gets back to normal the soonest as possible. After the crisis, we are looking forward so much to see you all again 😊 For the moment we can only wait and send you ALL our best and warm wishes and most important to stay very very safe in good health. With best regards, Emmanuel Christodoulides

We are just coming to the end of our week at Gaia Garden Hotel, and we have had a great time. It is a relatively small hotel just outside town with a very relaxed vibe. The rooms are mostly arranged in two storey blocks or chalets. Ours was a renovated room with an excellent finish, very comfortable and well equipped, close to the pool.

The pool is not very big, but it never felt crowded and suits the scale of the hotel well. There is a small splash pool and a main pool that goes from 1m to 3m, with a volley ball net across the middle. There are plenty of sun loungers and seating around the pool, and putting towels down before 8am is not allowed, so we never struggled to find a spot.

The all inclusive food was very good, with a nice variety of options throughout the week. Hot, cold, and continental breakfast items, a waffle maker, fresh Greek yoghurt and honey every day. Lunch and dinner featured Greek salads, a good selection of meat, vegetables, and fish every day. Pasta and chips for the young ones. A variety of local desserts, fruit, and ice cream. Self service juice, soft drinks, beer, and wine on tap.

The hotel is about 30min walk from the middle of town, a bit too much for us in the Greek sun. Thankfully there's a bike rental shop opposite with very reasonable rates. We cycled to town most days along dedicated cycle lanes, with good access to shops and Lambi beach.

The staff were friendly and attentive, working hard to make it a pleasant stay. They let us pay 20€ to have another room for a few hours on the last day to ride us over until our transport to the airport.

Overall, we have had a great time at this hotel. We aren't really the type to do repeat visits, but if we decided to visit Kos again, we would definitely consider another stay at Gaia Garden.

What a gem of a place this is!
Tucked away off the main road, this is a haven for relaxation. Lovely and clean!
Friendly, helpful staff! Great food!
Ideal for friends and couples of all ages. They do have a very well kept and shaded play area for young children, and a small games area and children’s section of the pool.
We stayed for 10 nights and could’ve easily have stayed for much longer.
There is no organised entertainment, it’s lovely and calm, with lots of little shaded seating areas around the grounds in addition to your room balcony or terrace.
We arrived just before the evening meal was due to end and they kindly let us go and eat before even checking in!
The hotel has lots of charm and is spotlessly clean. It well deserves its Trip Advisor Rating. And we would happily return again. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so special.
