We have been regular guests at the Engel for almost 20 years and have always been very satisfied. Everything is great - except for not enough loungers in the spa... However, during this stay I had the impression that the quality of the food had declined. The starters were boring and unimaginative (mustard egg with a little decoration), there was never a warm starter (the plates are always ready on the "show kitchen" counter and are then brought to the table. For the main courses, at the kitchen party on Tuesday there was "pink-roasted Allgäu heifer", at the gala dinner on Thursday there was "pink-roasted fillet of Allgäu heifer" and on Friday at the gourmet buffet there were "pink-roasted pieces of Seeger heifer" - that's not really imaginative. Especially since not everyone likes very pink-roasted beef. The service was OK - once we had to wait a very long time (about 25 minutes) for our main course. When we complained, we were told that there were 5 rooms to serve - but that was at a time when hardly anyone was sitting in the rooms. We would have expected an honest "I forgot to order it", especially since the cheese dumpling that came was not good - the The advertised nut butter was completely missing.

Our stay at the Hotel Engel in Tirol was nothing short of heavenly! Already on arrival we were warmly welcomed and felt immediately welcome. The location of the hotel is breathtaking – surrounded by majestic mountains and idyllic nature that invites you to relax and dream.
Our room was a little paradise on earth: stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean and with a balcony that offered breathtaking views. The beds were incredibly comfortable, so we slept like on clouds every night.
The culinary offer at Hotel Engel was simply divine. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired and offered a variety of fresh, regional products. Even the dinner was a real treat – the creative and lovingly prepared dishes inspired us every evening.
The spa area is another highlight of the hotel. The various saunas, the steam bath and the spacious pool area offered us the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind after a day in the mountains. Especially the massages were a boon for body and mind.
The staff at Hotel Engel deserve special praise. Every staff member was always friendly, courteous and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. You can feel that people work here with heart and passion.
All in all, our stay at the Hotel Engel in Tirol was an unforgettable experience. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. If you are looking for a place where you can feel like heaven, then Hotel Engel is the perfect choice.

It really was a very unique experience. The spa area is unbeatable. I have never experienced anything like it in any of the hotels we have visited. The staff is always friendly. However, many of the service staff are still beginners and need to be trained. But that didn't bother us so much. The only drawback is the food (although this is only something to complain about in view of the prices). For this price-performance ratio, the way the food left over from the day before is handled is a bit unusual, even though we understand that sustainability is the main focus here. However, the rooms are perfectly equipped and meticulously clean. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend the hotel!

Our stay at the wellness hotel "Der Engel" was simply heavenly. From arrival to departure, we were pampered by impressive hospitality and loving attention. The hotel's spa and wellness area is a real dream. The designed rooms exude peace and relaxation.
The "Bergglück Junior Suit" is furnished with attention to detail and has a view of the Tyrolean landscape. The cleanliness and comfort left nothing to be desired and we felt at home from the very first moment.
Special praise goes to the hotel staff. Their warmth played a key role in making our stay something special. No matter what question or request we had, the staff was always ready to do everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
From the warm welcome drink to the loving attention during our stay and for our birthday there was a sweet surprise. Here they know how to pamper guests and make them feel special.
Now the question arises: Can we recommend the wellness hotel "Der Engel" in Tyrol? YES. For anyone looking for a place of relaxation and warm hospitality, this hotel is the perfect choice. It was our first time at the Engel and we will definitely be back!
The arrival or check-in is very personal, you take your time and are shown the hotel and at the end you are accompanied to your room. Our luggage was already waiting for us there.
The room is decorated with great detail, always clean and quiet. The food is of excellent quality and the service is always attentive. From the second evening onwards, requests like water are already ready and the personal touch is always there.
As for the spa area (adults only, we hardly used the other one) - speechless! Architecturally a great achievement and the offer can not be surpassed! The treatments we booked were also great - simply a wonderful overall package.
Two tiny points of criticism at the highest level: The lamp in the walk-in dressing room gives off incredibly hot light, you start sweating straight away when you unpack your suitcase. The selection at lunch is not always that big - but more than enough for us.
Absolutely recommended and we will definitely be regulars here!

Beautiful hotel complex and attractive wellness area, but far too expensive in comparison. A third person in the room pays almost the full price and has to sleep on an extremely uncomfortable sofa bed. At reception we were told that there were also toppers for the sofa bed. The question is: why can't you automatically expect that for that price?? Unfortunately, despite the criticism on site, they did not accommodate us at all and did not offer us any discount or anything similar, even though the third person really did not have any sleeping comfort. A few more sauna infusions would be desirable and the number of textile-free saunas (4 saunas, steam baths are not included) is a bit meager. The food really tasted fantastic and the selection of dishes was large. In our opinion, however, a snack platter and a cake buffet are not necessary - it would be better to just have a rich breakfast, lunch buffet with salads/soup and an evening meal. The price could then be lower. It's a shame, but given the excellent reviews, we had hoped for much more and will not be coming back for the reasons mentioned.

Very good wellness hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The choice of products at the breakfast buffet is very wide and varied. The afternoon buffet (also included in the price) is rather limited and sometimes contains leftovers from the night before. The pastry is of excellent quality. Dinner offers a wide choice of dishes. The service is perfect.

We were incredibly positively surprised by the great and friendly staff, the beautiful ambience in the rooms and the sensationally fine organic SPA area.
In this hotel you can relax, unwind, enjoy your time and be pampered with delicacies almost around the clock. The cuisine ranges from rustic Austrian to fine dining to a kitchen party. There is something for everyone and the selection is really large.

Haus No 7 ist ein separates Hau, man geht über die kaum befahrene Strasse von außen ins Hotel. Das gestaltet sich aber auch im Winter und mit Bademantel völlig unproblematisch.
