We stayed a week in Pralognan la Vanoise, a traditional village with mountain charm nestled in the heart of the National Park.
Telemark gave us complete satisfaction.
The staff at this human-sized establishment, from the manager to the housekeeper, is welcoming and extremely kind. Cleanliness, comfort of the room, quality of meals everything was perfect.
Evening entertainment almost non-existent due to the hospitalization of the person in charge, to wish him to recover very quickly.
Global warming forces, the snow was missing a little and the smallness of the ski area(26km) made us discover the mountain differently. An asset, the snowshoe trips supervised by Georges, Wildlife Photographer Guide were very rewarding.

We stayed 4 nights + breakfast in telemark.
The mountain environment is beautiful , the pool and restaurant are welcoming but we were disappointed by the rest of the hotel and our room which deserved some (big) work .
The bathroom sink was flatly broken in half and water was flowing into the drawer below.
The access corridor needed some paint.
Our terrace was decorated with two completely destroyed and unusable canvas seats.
Unworthy of a three star claimed and inadmissible for simple respect of the customer!
Breakfast was very (too) simple.
In the end, an insufficient Award Value.
We're not coming back.

Very pleasant stay in a sumptuous setting. Spacious, comfortable and functional room. Swimming pool and outdoors (terrace and furniture) always very clean. Buffet breakfast varied. Generous packed lunches designed for hiking with boxes, cutlery and towels. Welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. Outings with Arnaud, their mountain guide are magical! Deserves the 5 stars! Long live next year!

Inn very nice but beds not made for all people. We realized a little late (22h).
Moreover, Booking with this Pension is catastrophic.
The manager was most unpleasant, to change a date 3 weeks in advance I had to lose 8 hours between her and the customer service Booking

Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:30 to 9:00 more bread. Employees are already setting the table for lunch, hurrying to rid breakfast and turn off machines. They don't seem to be fulfilling their missions.
We can't sit anywhere. Not very relaxing. See annoying.
Linens and towels hang out in the hallways while cleaning on the old carpet. Not very hygienic.
Try the buffet one night: 25 euros per person , dear!! Not famous
Do not take the rooms on the ground floor, you receive the bread crumbs from the rooms above.
A south facing terrace without umbrella , two deckchairs for three
This is not a place we'll be back. Word of Savoyards.

We had a great time.
Setting and sublime views, the property is beautiful and the staff is caring.
The rooms are super clean and the bedding very comfortable.
And to top it off, the chef regaled us.
We highly recommend this property. 😁

The sports and play facilities were well appreciated (especially during the half day of bad weather).
The meals are varied and hearty (with some regional specialties).
The common areas and setting were well appreciated by the group.

+1
A dive into the 70s with the cows the Christmas decorations still on the doors in March the non-existent room service the bed hasn't even been made both the structure and the rooms are really basic and very dated a bit in decline and the breakfast completely questionable with little choice of do-it-yourself savory sweets, low quality, much improvable

Nice area, bare rooms but large enough, comfortable and well renovated. Simple but pleasant restaurant. Very helpful staff, thank you to them.
At the end of the season, very few people and therefore a little out of time...
Configuration of the room (with a bunk bed area for two children) and prices (very close regardless of the number of people and the activities, if I understood correctly) suitable for a week with the family, more than for a stopover solo.

A third stay at Telemark which is coming to an end and always a little pang in the heart when leaving. Everything is perfect there. Absolutely perfect. The team is incredibly kind and caring. We are already looking forward to our next stay (and will make sure to equip our teenager with a helmet in the colors of Pralo 🤩).

Madame,
Cordialement,
Karine LEVILLAIN
