The staff were lovely and helpful. The gardens were beautiful but it was a shame the pool was bright green with algae! Maybe they only filter it in season. The hotel itself was very clean and bright and our room was spacious with a huge bed. The water for the shower was only luke warm though. The restaurant was a little odd, no menu until about an hour before they served at 8pm as the chef decided what he was doing on the day. Only about 4 choices. A choice of red or white wine. All a bit rustic but we quite liked it. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. £10 for a litre of red wine and it was perfectly drinkable! We picked this hotel because we had an extra day in Rome after our cruise and it was near the airport and had a pool. Turned out it was near the wrong airport as we flew into Ciampino 🤦‍♀️ and the pool not usable. Never mind we still enjoyed our stay

We came after midnight. The guy at the reception was very friendly to us. We had a nice and comfortable family room. Beds were very good and clean. Room was renovated and nice with two balcony and sea wiew. We had a flight back to home next evening so they let us use the pool whole day and also gave us one little room where we could keep our luggage and change clothes. That was nice! The garden was very beautiful with a pool and flowers. Breakfast was also ok. They were renovating places so I think I’s coming even better some day. Thanks for all!

We love this place for a variety of reasons...the rooms are up to date now and very clean. Great staff. Wonderful choice to base yourself if you want to be near Rome and in a great family environment near to the Rome airport without having to stay at the airport. This is truly a great option.

If you’re coming here to spend the day at the beach (which most people do) then it’s great. Location couldn’t be better, and getting there from the airport doesn’t take too long by car. The pool/garden area was nice. Rooms were basic, with a lovely view. I’d recommend bringing your own towels though.

I stayed at this hotel from the 26th to the 30th of May on a school tour. On first arrival hotel seemed a bit run down , location is isolated but for the price we were paying it was not a matter. Food was very basic , mashed potatoes , meat patties and simple pasta was the height of it. Unfortunately the worst thing about this hotel was that a large sum of money was stolen out of suitcases, and many more suitcases from the group had been throughly routed through. I stayed in room 103 along with 3 others and when returning to our room on the last night we discovered that a large sum of money had been stolen and our personal items thrown around the room. The safes in the room were not working and this was unpreventable. We had hidden our money in our suitcases which were zipped and in the closed and kept in the wardrobe but as a result the suitcases were clearly searched for and searched through. This left many of us feeling violated and in distress and overwhelmingly uncomfortable.

The hotel met our most important issue - closeness to the airport. There were a number of issues with our room when we checked in (a leaking air conditioning unit and a light that wasn't working chief among them). With every issue, the staff fixed it quite quickly. They were friendly and quite helpful. It made for a pleasant stay.

Been here for a weekend with an italian chick, i got to say this was a good experience. Such a big room with comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The free late check out was a kind shot from the staff. Cheap price too!

While the staff were really friendly there were a few downsides to staying here. The hotel is a long way from any shops or entertainment off season. The nearby beach is not at all clean, but there is a good pool at the hotel. There is also a small games room to pass a bit of the evening for kids. The food was no great shakes, but I would have to say that we all enjoyed our stay there. We used it to commute to Rome, but it's a good forty minute trip to town. Very handy for Da Vinci airport, but I wouldn't be returning to Fregene again.

After 3 weeks in Italy we needed a place close to the airport to fly out the next morning that was not a sticker shock. Had 2 of our kids with us 5 and 14 and received a Family room consisting of 2 bedrooms 1 with a double and one with 3 singles. Room is dated and bathroom is definitely dated. Kids played in the pool for a bit. It is small and can get crowded. WiFi was only in the lobby and as other reviewers noted there are parties on the beach across the street till late in the evening. Our flight was early so we had to depart before the 7AM Free breakfast which would have been better if served at 6AM as most flights are early departures. We rented a car for our trip and were pleased with the free parking lot across the street. All in all was a value for one night.

Just steps from the beach, you can also have a beautiful view of the Mediterranean from your window if your room is on the west side of the hotel. Some rooms have balconies and some have a large window. All rooms have double paned glass and metal pull down screens that block out light and attempt to block out the noise. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights there is a perpetual beach party going on across the street until the early morning. Saturday evening's party ends around 3:30 a.m with lingering voices and street noise going on until 5 a.m. Since the a/c is not available, there is no white noise to block out the noise from outside and you have to open the window for air. One might wonder, how bad could this be? If you are wanting your sleep and all you can hear is the bass, it is bad. A family owned hotel, the extended family and staff is wonderful and very helpful and friendly. On several occasions I needed their assistance and they came thru for me every time without hesitation.. Breakfast consists of french rolls, wrapped biscuits/cookies, yogurt and baked tarts. There is a coffee machine to make your desired hot beverage and a juice machine. Upon request, they will provide a plate of cheese. There are several room configurations with different size bathrooms. My double room and bathroom was a good size. However, the shower doors were falling off and the shower itself was very small. The bathrooms definitely need updating. The desk has a cupboard for a refrigerator, however, the refrigerator has been removed. The a/c was not available when I was there. Downstairs a very large lobby with sofas and a restaurant is available. This is the only area where you can access the WIFI—it is not accessible in your room. The restaurant food was okay and the prices were very reasonable. The outdoor pool was nice to have on these summer hot and humid days. There is a large playground and green lawn for the kids to play. There is also an outdoor sitting area. Note that this hotel has constant activity and hosts a variety of parties from weddings to children's birthday parties held by the pool or in the restaurant. The music and voices over the speakers carries into the rooms. This is not a relaxing resort. This is a family hotel with noise everywhere.
