Casa Maca is a unique restaurant with rooms in a beautiful rural location that looks across to Ibiza Old Town and the sea beyond. Set in a 300 year old farmhouse, it offers seasonal farm-to-table cuisine and country charm with modern touches, whilst also being within minutes of some of the island’s best nightlife, beaches and marinas. Open all year round, Casa Maca – which translates to beautiful house in the local Ibizan dialect – welcomes diners and guests like a family home, offering authentic experiences and personalised service. The bright airy terrace of the restaurant and the open air dining space are the focal points of any visit. And their special atmosphere is evocative of the energy the island is so well known for. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the menus fuse global gastronomy with local, organic ingredients. For those guests choosing to stay at Casa Maca, there are 10 suites peppered across the grounds including eight junior suites and two larger suites. Each of the suites varies in decoration but typical Ibizan style and rustic chic furnishings give a sense of place, while contemporary additions such as air-conditioning and Marshall radios offer the comfort guests require. The expansive bathrooms are consciously kitted out with products by Grown Alchemist. Days can be spent by the pool or enjoying the privacy of the suites’ gardens or terraces, where guests can choose to book massages, facials and even private yoga classes. Casa Maca can also be booked exclusively for weddings. The wedding team, which has been working on the island for over 25 years, can arrange every detail of the celebration. Casa Maca is part of a collection of independently owned restaurants, hotels and bars including Hostal La Torre, Cala Gracioneta, La Cava, and Villa Mercedes. The collection, which is owned by the Anadon family and grew from Ibiza’s famous sunset spot, Café Mambo, is really making it’s mark in creating authentic, experience-led dining, drinking and accommodation destinations.

Detailed Reviews
Service was disappointing, impersonal, always in a rush and not how you treat customers for this price range. Another negative note is that lighting at night is insufficient: we couldn't even see what we were brought to the table and had to use our smartphone lights for that. Apart from that: location and decorations are top class. Food and cocktails were also all really great.

Highly recommend Casa Macca Hotel. It’s a bit of a hidden gem. Everyone (even taxis) think there is only a restaurant but there is also a 10 room hotel on the property.
It’s relatively close to Ibiza town - approx 10 mins up on a hill with a lovely view.
Rooms are very well appointed and we had a separate lounge area and outdoor seating area.
Food is incredible!!
I have a few favourite hotels in Ibiza and this might just now be one of them.
A few downsides / points or suggestions to management
- Staff sitting just behind reception and on patio having their staff lunches and dinners. A little odd and we thought they should have their own area. You feel like you’re interrupting them
- Price of mini bar items. We got complimentary water in the room but then ran out. The water in Ibiza from the taps is not drinkable so we ordered some more (what we thought would be complimentary water) €10.50 per bottle later we were shocked to see this on the bill. We also questioned it but the reception lady refused to remove it. For the price for night that sadly and very unnecessarily left a bad taste in our mouth. We also wanted some tea and coffee there was no milk in the room and again ordered some (thinking complimentary with tea and coffee) and got charged €4.
Those little things for me put me off a bit so just be warned.
Otherwise a stunning hotel experience would recommend. Definitely have dinner at the restaurant (also a few tables should be reserved for hotel guests but this wasn’t the case).

Something about this place just isn’t quite right. It’s a beautiful setting and great concept (bbq cooked food, all ingredients home grown etc) but the food just isn’t good enough. It’s also crazily expensive. Service was somehow detached. Like another reviewer said, the starters aren’t interesting or special enough. The fillet steak is sliced (weird) and not as good as premium steak restaurants despite charging the same prices. To those in UK, it has something of a Soho Farmhouse vibe but it needs to up its game.

What a fantastic experience we had at the Casa Maca restaurant.
You have to pay a deposit of €100 per person to secure your booking which is deducted from your bill. Be careful on the drinks they're quite pricey, single gins are €20 and a bottle of water is €10.
If you plan to go there, don't eat throughout the day. Both of us walked out feeling pregnant! They aren't pretentious portion sizes like fancy restaurants in the UK, they are big! I would also suggest when having steak that one side is enough for above reason.
People tend to dress up really smart but you can go casual in jeans if you wish.
The venue itself is stunning! The smells of citronella and BBQ are delightful and the ambience throughout is really relaxing and vibey. They have an in-house DJ who does a great job and the music isn't too loud that you can't hear the person next to you.
Overall perfect evening and incredible experience. If you visit Ibiza make sure to go to Casa Maca.

We have reserved this restaurant on the advice of several of our friends.
When we arrived we were delighted with the place. By booking at the first service (7:30), we knew very well that we would have to free the table. We have restaurant in Paris. We were with a baby and we weren't going to stay forever. We wanted to relax. Barely seated, the waitress insisted on taking the order. The wine served (rosé) was hot.The waitress insisted that we order more explaining that it was light. We appreciate the advice but not the hard sell. Every 5 minutes each server came to ask us if we were done. The waitress was constantly behind us. We had a stressful and unpleasant dinner. We are disappointed. In such an environment, we would have liked the waitress to let us enjoy this moment. Finally we left to take our dessert and our digestive elsewhere.

I would just like to let you know my honest opinion of my experience last night which I will also be posting on review sites. We attended from a recommendation from our butler at our hotel, it looked great and with me being pregnant we were looking for somewhere nice to eat with great views and atmosphere. At the beginning everyone was very friendly, the waiter was trying to upsell steaks and wine, and despite me being pregnant he said we could cook the steak more for me. Obviously I wasn’t drinking alcohol and neither was my husband, that didn’t go down well either that we didn’t want a bottle of wine. Starters and bread were lovely, then the main arrived. It was rare and even after my husband putting it on the hot plate for 5 minutes it was still pink. When you are pregnant you cannot have steak pink or have any blood at all as it can cause infection and harm the baby. Nobody came to check on us or the meal and after about 15 minutes my husband had to grab the waiter and ask for it to be sent back as it’s to rare for me to eat, and let’s just say the waiter took the plate but it was not done in a friendly manner. Also by this point all of our sides were freezing cold. The steak came back and again it was still pink, so we asked for a third time, reiterating the fact that I am pregnant, only to be tutted at by the waiter with rude remarks saying I know I asked the chef before, he grabbed the board of meat and stormed off, again, no apology, no offer to bring us new side dishes. This made me feel horrendous like I had done something wrong for not wanting to risk my child’s life by eating under cooked steak, I would usually eat steak rare but unfortunately when pregnant things change. It was bought back and eventually I had two pieces but by this point everything was ruined and cold. So we asked for a bill but got no apology, we was treated poorly and I basically paid €380 for some crisps for dinner. I think what we experienced last night was appalling and I’m very upset, and to make it worse I have woke up this morning very ill with a bad stomach. So thank you for making me feel worse than I already did about being pregnant in Ibiza and just trying to enjoy myself with some nice food. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be visiting again or recommending to friends and family.

First of all location, you expect to arrive in a wild farm place but you are actually sitting about 300m from the highway looking at the factory of Ibiza but let’s say I did not do my homework
Now the absolute scam, the service. The guy who serve you your 582€ dinner for 2 (which is more or less the bill in a 3 star Ducasse restaurant) is at limit of politeness with heavy heavy joke like :
- where is the restroom : « there it’s just 2 km »
- what advice do you advice petrus
You order a cote de boeuf if we did not check randomly 2 min later the guy had actually taken the initiative to order the Wagyu meat that is 450€/kg, as if everyone in the restaurant randomly orders the wagyu.
So basically they made sure to stuff you as many crap as they can
Its not bad but about 10 times the price and in a crappy location compared to say places like Ses Boques

Thiefs. The place is a complete tourist trap. Food is overpriced and totally not worth it. A party member even got sick after eating there. Not only do they charge you €100,00 in advance, but the service is also terrible. Be careful to double check your bill.

Disappointing. We had been there for dinner last year and it was an amazing experience. We returned now with the highest expectation, but unfortunately it was mostly a big disappointment.
The spot lost most of the atmosphere and vibe and it looks a different place with the previous tented area being closed. Service was ok to poor. The music ended soon. To be fair the food was great.
But then, the price…while booking we were informed about a minimum cost of eur 150 per person which was immediately charged. At the end of the meal as our party’s cost was under that, we ‘needed’ to spend more just like that as they wouldn’t return nothing. What an awkward situation.
Not to return.

Only after your initial reservation the cancellation fee of 150€ pp will become clear. Later you have to read your confirmation well to understand there is a (not specified) minimum spend in your 2 hour reservation. On the spot this turns out to be 150€ pp (written off from your credit card upfront in some cases), whilst the location and the cancellation fee make it practically impossible to step away from a rather expensive dinner. The food is nice but not extraordinary, which classification applies without any doubt for the pirces of the winelist. Below average housewine is 75€ and most other bottles are about 300-800€ or far far more expensive. Never seen such an aggressive business model in any restaurant anywhere in the world before.

After walking along winding dirt train ja you would eventually have to cross one busy main road to get into ibz toen - not sure where the closest pedestrian bridge is to the restaurant but that would be the only real hazard.
The hotel has a good restaurant.
Another option is to go to Ibiza town. It´s 5 minutes far with car or 20 minutes walking.
