I stayed at Atlantica Eleon Grand Resort for one week in June with my teenager sons. We had such a wonderful week! It's a great family hotel with beautiful pool and beach area and it's a good value for money. The rooms were cleaned every day and are quiet, couldn't hear our neighbours even once during a week. The showers worked well with hot water every time and the beds were very comfy, we slept really well. The buffet restaurant had different theme every day (Greek, International ++). As a vegetarian, there were a good choice of different vegetarian dishes every night, vegetables and a salad bar which is important for me. There are shows every night and a gaming arcade, which the teenagers loved. We also went to the tennis court (bring your own gear and play for free) , played basket ball and used the gym a few times. Had also a really nice, relaxing massage at the spa. The pools are spacious and clean. It was difficult to get a sun bed next to the pool during day time if you come late, but we prefered the sun beds at the beach and the shadow from the olives trees anyway, and they were always available. The beach is small but clean. Bring your own snorkling gear, there are plenty of fish and octopus to see in the ocean. You can also rent jet ski next to the hotel, which was great fun for the teenagers. The absolutely best thing about the hotel is the lovely staff, from the reception to the waiters and the entertainment / activity staff. They were all extremely service minded! Working very hard, but always with a smile. The chef in charge of the meat at the restaurant always suggested vegetarian dishes for me, knowing that I was a vegetarian. The waiters are very hands on, professional and always smiling, especially the bar manager and the Hungarian lady serving drinks at the pool. We will definitively come back to Eleon Atlantica for another family vacation!

Just returned from a fantastic week at the Atlantic hotel. The staff were all amazing. All very friendly and extremely hard working. The place is spotless and is cleaned daily. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was fabulous. Large double balcony with sunbeds which were an added bonus. There was a fridge in the room with soft drinks and water on arrival. A really nice touch was the bottle of wine and fruit left for us. The restaurant was great different themed nights , Asian ,Greek, Mediterranean, Street food ,Surf and turf, Italian and international. My husband can be quite fussy but he found that the choice was great. The pool bar serves drinks, ice cream and a variety of snacks which were great. Drinks service at the pools was brilliant. The pool areas were fantastic the main pool is where all the kids with their air beds and floaties are. Water polo, aqua areobics etc also in this pool. The best pool were the infinity pool and jacuzzi pools. There is a pool at the entrance with water slides which were great. There is always plenty of beds. There isnt much near the hotel but a taxi to Tsilivi will cost you 10 Euro. Would definitely go for a holiday again. Loved it ❤️

This review is based on my own personal experience. We chose the Atlantica Eleon grand resort to get married at in June 2022. This was my first time visiting the Zakynthos and I will most certainly be returning. Firstly The island holds numerous view point to see the spectacular views and blue water, the island is known for the famous washed up ship wreck near volimes near the top north west tip on the island, whilst I didn’t do the boat trip to see it up close the viewing platform was more than enough to appreciate what this small Greek island has to offer. Also at any point a trip to see the ‘ Caretta Caretta ‘ Loggerhead sea turtles is an experience also. Anyways back to the resort. The staff and management where exceptionally attentive thoughout our 14 day stay. The resort was regularly cleaned as Covid 19 is still such a thing and you can tell they are doing there upmost to ensure everyone is protected still. We done our wedding through TUI and if I am honest! I would recommend a wedding oversea now. The hotel guest relations and tui work side by side to ensure your stay and wedding is stress free. They met our objective and more. We did got married on the hotter day up to yet with temperatures soring to 38 degrees at 5pm. A moment I will never forget was when my brother fainted in the hotel lobby and the staff immediate reaction was faultless. They cooled him down, kept him hydrated before they got him in the Club cart to his room. That in its self goes miles with me. Like most all inclusive hotels your get a good list of local alcohol & spirit but the restaurant changes themes of dinners throughout the week so you will never get bored of the food. You can have fresh omelettes for breakfast or fresh yoghurt and fruit, a varied selection of hot lunch’s and a mixed variety for dinner. The hotel offers a snack bar down by the pool that has chips, rolls and toasties too. The resort is split into 3 areas, as you come in to the resort you have the small water park to the right, main reception lobby with bar, restaurant, spa, gym, pool and rooms in front of the pool areas and then over the other side of the resort you have the evening entertainment stage, Olivia bar and more rooms. The hotel caters for families so children will not be bored either. The kids have there own selection of food and the day entertainment will ensure they are kept busy. Overall my experience and stay was fantastic and so Much so that we have decided to hopefully return in October this year

Stayed here recently. Definitely nOT a 5 star hotel. The air con in our room Didn’t work, neither did the telephone. Air con fixed but not the phone. The room was in dire need of a freshen up. It absolutely reeked of damp and all our clothes now have that lingering smell over them. The walls in the room Were touched up with paint which looked very shoddy. On the upside ……. The pool and surrounding area were kept clean as was reception. The waiting staff worked very hard all day to ensure you were not without drinks although a little too keen to remove your plate at mealtimes The Moment you put your cutlery down 😂 A nice hotel but still some effort needed to get it to a great place not just a mediocre hotel. I definitely won’t rush back. We stayed in a small hotel In Kalymar last year which was a 3 star but could really knock spots of this place sadly.

It is interesting to see the differing opinions of this hotel, I have tried to base my review on a direct comparison with an Atlantic chain hotel with an similar star rating, purely by chance I have stayed at the same chain consecutively. Check In Due to TUI Airlines delays we arrived at this hotel at gone midnight rather than mid-afternoon, with only two families to check-in in front of me I thought this would be a swift process. How wrong I was, it took over 45 minutes before it was my turn to start the slow pain of checking in, given we had experienced a 9 hour delay, had been awake for close to 20 hours and travelling with two small children I would have thought formal check-in could have taken place the next morning, but no the hotel was insistent on getting local tax payment first. Room We had to get our own suitcases to the room, not a problem but not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Room was basic and clean with working Airconditioning. Room décor was warn, it was clear that it had been visibly repaired over many years. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well during our stay. The bathroom was very tired and needs replacing, no luxuries expected of a higher class hotel were present – Premium Inn level. A big disappointment was the towels, both bathroom and pool, these towels must be decades old as they were so warn and threadbare even without the holes you could see through them! Certainly not nice and fluffy or even thick and scratchy. The TV worked intermittently and needed repairing twice. Meals The dining room is not big enough for the amount of guests and there was often long queues. Food quality was basic and very repetitive, it was hard to draw a comparison with the food provided at the Atlantic Golden Beach (which is a 4 star hotel). The Al a cart restaurant was used to hold wedding receptions during our stay so we did not get a chance to use it. Bar / Drinks Very good service and drinks quality but again there is not enough seating if all guests decide to use the bar area. Service round the pool and in the sunbed area was excellent, all bar staff were so happy and keen to help. Main Hotel Areas All kept very clean but as with the rooms the hotel could do with a major refurbishment as it has been visibly repaired over many years. A key element of the Hotel is weddings, they appear to provide a good service in a beautiful setting. A wedding ceremony does mean a small part of the hotel gardens being unavailable but this was not a problem, for the most part is was nice to witness couples having a wonderful day. Of course weddings can result in large groups of people staying at the hotel. Concern This is an All Inclusive Hotel and as such vast quantities of alcohol are consumed. On check-in we were greeted by a large group of drunk people staggering around and shouting, one guy commented “welcome to Spoons with sunshine” not a great first impression that the one hotel security guard struggled to control. We also witnessed a large wedding party of 30+ people where the behavior, bad language and lack of respect for other guests and staff got worse as the day went on, the hotel took no visible action to ensure the welfare of other guests / families or their own staff. Summary, A basic hotel that most likely achieved 4 star status twenty years ago but in terms of the current state of property amenities and facilities it is barely reaching a 3 start standard. In terms of service, the staff are by far this hotels greatest asset, providing excellent service with a smile and ensuring they do what they can for their guests. A remote location suited to wedding parties and younger couples.

My expectations exceeded my imagination. I am satisfied with my stay at the Atlantica Eleon Grand Resort. We spent a fantastic time here with my friends and we will remember this holiday for a long time. The hotel service was very professional, helpful and always greeted us with a smile. The rooms were well equipped, spacious and clean. The hotel is distinguished by a high standard and the highest quality. However, everything is thanks to the people working here. Full of energy, positive and helpful. We are very pleased with the animation. Lots of choice when it comes to pool activities, but also outside. Very nice animators who diversified the training and provided entertainment all day long. Big applause also for the lifeguard, who looked after the safety and was also very helpful and friendly.

So disappointed experience Definitely not 5 stars hotel The rooms aren’t cleaned everyday coffee , shower gel not filled in , no tissue box no support for towels shower dripping when you use it , no note book in the room . Restaurant: food is very salty ( if you have a blood pressure issue then it’s problem) even if complained to the manager nothing done Bar : bad service no nuts or chips with the drink you have to pay for cocktails like pinacolada mojito baileys Beach : 1 garbage for the whole beach area , lot of ants everywhere Snackbar : works only from 10/17h30 limited choice If you are hungry after dinner time you can’t eat anything ( all closed ) Lunch bag : you can’t choose they decide for you !! Small croissant Appel small bag of chips and bottle waters!!! Even if you have paid all inclusive: you have to check out at 11h no option to have a room later to take shower ( ive been told to use the pool shower no privacy) this is not 5 stars service , whereas other hotels even 4 stars offered It’s shame Not customer service at all !!! Last year we were guests of the atlantica in Rhodes, so we chose Atlantica in Zakhyntos, hoping that it will meet our requirements :) I have been working in the hotel industry in high positions for 15 years and I know how difficult it is to meet all the requirements of guests and how to make it possible the least things annoyed them. The staff of this hotel gave their best. RECEPTION always with a smile on their face advised, listened to and helped with the slightest worries. The staff of bars and restaurants worked very hard, day after day, but it did not let any of us know that they were tired, joked and remembered their guests' preferences. The restaurant has a large selection of dishes, tasty and fresh food. Nice rooms, especially those with a sea view (you have to pay extra for them to not find yourself in the further part of the hotel and not in the main building, which is acceptable for me) rooms cleaned daily, if you leave a card on the door handle asking for cleaning, otherwise every other day. SPA super professional employees, who know their job very well, I know because I fell ill with my spine and their help was very important to me. I recommend it with a clear conscience. The hotel is beautifully situated, olive groves a tiny beach, but you can sit by the pool it feels like you are right on top of the sea The upper pool was practically empty but at the beginning of June .Animations ok but greek evening disappointing. Animators Daniel from Poland :) and the whole dancing team were wonderful. Thank you very much! Finally, thanks to the Director of the Hotel, who was available at the facility every day, which proved that he really cared about it. Thank you very much !!!!! we will definitely come back to your Hotel and to this charming island that will take your breath away! Kisses for the entire crew from Mr. Sabotage

Stayed at the hotel for a week and had an amazing time there. The service was really good and so was the lifeguard. The lifeguard helped us a lot with our questions and service by the pool. There was many times when the receptionist was busy with other guests, so the lifeguard stepped in and helped us. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who visits Zakinthos.
