Had a beautiful room in 7th floor with a breathtaking view of the sea , weather was excellent , amazing sunsets every evening , glorious food and staff helpful
Thanks especially to Chrysula , her fantastic personality and friendly manner is exceptional. We look forward to seeing you again
Will start with the room, large enough, with plenty of storage even for longer stays, nicely appointed. We had a lateral sea view room but was upgraded to a frontal sea view room by the reception which greeted us with a cold glass of cava on arrival, much appreciated.
The hotel itself is right on the beach, free wi fi, pretty stable in the rooms, good size pool (however not interesting as people use it for sleeping and reading, seemed like a library, nobody was taking a bath ever, no music, quiet).
We only had breakfast, which was not at all satisfactory, with cheap products, tasteless vegetables and fruit (that is so weird in a country where they proud themselves, and for a good reason, for being the best producing nation of such products), cheap jamon, not matured enough and once every 4 days, no olives !?!, various types of cheese and yogurts all coming from big barrels assorted on plates or some glass containers, pastry-good enough, fresh eggs, undrinkable milk, etc.
The cooler in our room did not work, they replaced it with another non working one, we made use of the ice machine that was near the elevators, however, this was a nuisance as we were not able to keep any drinks cold throughout our stay (they tried to explain to us the difference between a cooler and fridge, quite savvy with them owing quite a few over the years). Another issue with the fixtures, the shower was leaking into the room, probably a faulty design.
As for the cleaning staff, there were days when we asked for the sheets to be changed and it did not happen, though we specifically left the small card on the bed, liquid soap not refilled when empty, however, all in all, they provided a good service.
As I said, we had an amazing time, would go back in a heart beat, even with the issues we had, probably would go without breakfast.
Again, for the staff, a big THANK YOU!!!
We were personally escorted to our room and every question was answered before we even asked it.
The studio room was brilliant with everything you could hope for, including a coffee pod machine and full size toiletries. The bed was huge! There was a robe each and slippers.
The view from our balcony was stunning with the added bonus of a swinging egg chair.
We had clean beach towels everyday (with a small refundable deposit)
The gym, sauna and Jacuzzis were always available and clean and massages were, both, professional and relaxing.
The food was unbelievable, plentiful and sensational on the taste buds. There was a variety of vegan and vegetarian options daily and also a member of staff to grill fresh meat or fish.
The dinning area was immaculate with your empty glass always being refilled and your used plate swiftly removed.
I spent my birthday here and after a 2 minute walk back from the beach, I was gifted with an iced bottle of cava, 2 glasses, bottles of beer and a jar of cookies!!!
Words cannot describe how delightful the staff were, they took time to get to know you personally and were very friendly, fun and helpful. I especially enjoyed hearing about their own past travel experiences, as their conversations were more friendly rather than formal.
This was a perfect, utterly faultless holiday with plenty of sun loungers and seats to relax in, inside and outside. They provided lots of activities including cocktail making classes, pilates and yoga. The evening entertainment was a variety of talented musical acts. There was even a cellist play one morning as we ate breakfast.
The location is great, the beach is direcrly outside the hotel with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, too. A fish pedicure is a must! Palma is a 25 minute bus ride away for only 2 euros.
We will definitely be returning to this fantastic hotel.
We had a Junior Suite in a priority location and it was simply the best! Rooms are kept extremely clean by housekeeping and some lovely touches left by them such as flowers, drinks and nibbles.
The rooftop infinity pool in the sky bar is fantastic with fine beautiful views across the bay. You will be well cared for by Maria who is a credit to the hotel! Thank you Maria for a great time in the Sky lounge and Bar.
All staff have been amazing to us always with a cheery hola! from the reception to the restaurant, bars, cleaners and pool attendants all giving 100% exceptional customer service they are a credit to the hotel!
Special mentions to David and Judith in the Bar & Restaurant it’s been such a pleasure meeting you!
Talking of the Restaurant, all of the chefs and waiters offered great service and the food is really delicious!!! lots of choices and themed nights made this buffet great!
Thanks to Martina for helping us whenever we needed it and making our holiday just the best!
We have loved every minute of our two weeks stay we didn’t want to come home!! haha!!
We met so many lovely people from all nationalities and made many many German, French Spanish and Dutch friends thank you, it’s been such a treat!
Bahia de Palma is superb, definitely a five stars hotel!!
Thank you we will definitely visit again.
Best Wishes

Has has delivered very well. The food was amazing with a wide variety(had breakfast and dinner ) and the staff was so so kind, which for me is the most important. During this pandemic I’ve been extra worried and careful with the hygiene etc. what iberostar has done besides to follow the restrictions is of course to keep everything sanitized, the elevator buttons is constantly wiped and to avoid gatherings iberostar has offered different timetables for
Breakfast/lunch /dinner which you of course get to choose. I can hands up highly recommend this hotel if you would like to feel comfortable, seen by the staff, get terrific food and amazing view to the beach and the pools. Thank you again Iberostar Palma!
Best regards
Diana
The beach is literally steps away, with the Balnearios 10 is on the beach which is just a little bar area where you can relax and have a bite to eat or some drinks watching over the beach! They are placed all along the promenade from 1-15 I think
This area is very much tailored to German travellers, we only heard one or two English travellers but that makes no difference to us as we weren’t expecting a British area.
There are plenty bars and restaurants nearby a few places we went to were Mojito- food and Drinks, Bikini Beach cocktail bar and Thai fusion food, L’A Italian restaurant and El Chiringuito Beach House for food and drinks and India House for amazing Indian food!
I would 100% return to this hotel and this area in the future
We were met with great checking staff who were knowledgeable and helpful and offered us a cava on arrival.
The room on the seventh floor had a balcony and sea room with a mini bar and a Nespresso coffee machine, the first four coffees were complimentary after that a charge for refill.
We ate in the restaurant all four nights as it was a buffet style at 38 euros each was good value, had a great and extensive selection and the quality was good and the service was great also.
The location is right on the beach and surrounded by restaurants, souvenir shops and bars while the beach must be about 7 miles long.
We got a taxi into the centre which was about 20 euros and this is also the fee to the Airport, however sometimes they are difficult to get.
The bus stop is opposite the hotel almost and about 2.50 euros to get into Palma, we didnt use this as we got taxi instead just for speed .
The venue has entertainment at night which was also good.
The staff were great and looked as though they cared about your visit.
The decor is in a blue and white contrast which makes the venue modern and light, i did not see any signs of wear and tear or looking tired.
Well worth a visit
This adults only hotel is small with 7 floors for rooms and the 8th floor is dedicated to the Sky Lounge and the rooftop pool.
Rooms are all in white, taking into consideration that the architect that designed it thought about the rooms to be minimalist.
Showers and toilets are separate int he room which is separated by the sink area. However if you are sharing a room as friends be aware that the shower although separate is a only frosted glass.
Perfect for couples, clean and the breakfast buffet is AMAZING! Caters for everyone and plenty of variety.
All done in white in the signature Iberostar architect and mood board.
Across from the beach. 2 pool areas, a restaurant and a bar.
Their spa is also excellent, book ahead for a treatment of possible.
Stephan in the mainbar downstairs was always in a good mood and nice to talk to.
Breakfast was fantastic and the young lady meeting us at the entrance were always smiling and wished us a nice day. Good start of the day. There were live music a few evenings as well. We stayed at room 430 and the maintenance/cleaning of the room every day was very good. We even had a bottle of Prosecco brought to our room when my wife had her birthday.
