Detailed Reviews
The apartments are situated in a quiet location of Gouvia, about a 10 minute walk from the centre and the shingle beach, you do have to cross a busy dual carriage way, which is controlled by traffic lights to get across to the main resort. The bus stop for Corfu Town and other locations on the island is 5 minutes walk from the apartments, for the local buses ( blue ), you can buy your tickets ( which works out cheaper ) from the local supermarket, 2 minutes walk from the apts. The green buses ( for further afield ) you buy on board the bus. The apts. are nice and clean and modern with a fridge/freezer, iron & board, t.v., microwave, kettle, hob and oven, sandwich toaster and adequate crockery and utensils, the outside has an airer and patio furniture. Each block of apts. has their own swimming pool and sunbeds, so there are plenty for everyone. The bathroom has a powerful shower and plenty of hot water, in Greece you can't put toilet paper down the loo, as their sewage system is not like ours. I did feel there could have been more wardrobe and drawer space, but that's a minor detail. The cleaners came in alternate days to clean the apts, and leave fresh towels, but daily to empty the bins. Bring your own pool/beach towels, as these aren't provided. There are 2 pool bars / eateries, where you can get hot / cold drinks and food / ice creams. If you want breakfast, this is available for 14 euros. The resort of Gouvia is about a 20 minute bus ride from Corfu Town, and has plenty of shops and restaurants, with a marina and beach, with pedalos, sunbeds and eateries nearby. I found the Corfiots lovely people, who couldn't do enough for you. The Palapart Gikas Apts, I highly recommend and would return here in a heartbeat.

After our EasyJet flight being cancelled we had been put into a totally unacceptable accommodation by them. We found this alternative hotel ourselves late evening. The rooms were spotless and bright leading out directly to the pool, breakfast room and bar. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful when we arrived, they gave us tea, cakes, crisps and a bottle of wine in each room, we had three studios as there were six of us. As our new flight wasn’t until that evening the following day, they assured us we could keep the rooms on as long as needed. Great place. Would love to go back.

We have just returned from the Palapart in Gouvia, we stayed for 7 nights in a comfort room with an amazing view of the pool also looking over the mountains and to the other way the sea. The rooms are lovely and modern spotless through out, towels and bedding was changed every 2 days which was great bins empty every day the housekeppers work very hard to keep the place spotless, around the pool area was the same, a nice seating area for lunch and another area for breakfast, the breakfast was nice to plenty of choice from hot stuff to fruit yogurt and pastries etc. The walk into the village is about 10mins the downside for us is you have to cross a extremely busy road (dual carriageway) on an evening when going out to eat it is so busy. Once in the village lots of nice restaurants to eat, Gouvia is a traditional Greek village busy and lots going on, think we would return but not in a hurry.

We just returned from a week stay in Palapart Gikas, beautiful apartments spotless clean and very close to Gouvia center. We had a two bedroomed panoramic apartment and it was so spacious, included air conditioning and two ensuite bathrooms, ironing boards, iron, hairdryers, fridge freezer kettle etc cleaned every day and towels changed daily. The living room also had a sofa bed so would easily fit 6 people comfortably. We had a lovely bottle of wine on arrival and bottled water and crisps/sweets, very nice touch. The pool area was lovely and a very nice bar & restaurant. A little supermarket down the road, and a larger supermarket in Gouvia center. The bus stop to Corfu is only just around the corner, if you cross the main road you can get the bus (blue) to Ipsos €2 each. We also got the green bus to Kassiopi for €3 each well worth the trip beautiful scenery along the way. The staff at the complex were very friendly, and the restaurants and bars in Gouvia are plentiful, lovely walk down to the beach and Marina. Corfu town is well worth a visit too. The resort is very laid back and the people were very friendly. We would definitely recommend.

Overall, this is a perfect choice for anyone, from families to business travellers. Rooms are pleasantly decorated (although badly soundproofed - you can hear others too clearly). Wifi was not working at the time of our stay, which was a pain (they said they would be fixing it for when more guests would come in). Breakfast was okay, personnel was really lovely, pool area is nice and parking is available at a short stroll.

+1
Palapart gouvia what a find for a relaxing 5 days in the sunshine. Because it's only may the hotel wasn't very busy but I feel in the summer it wouldn't be as relaxing . All staff friendly and helpful the maid kept leaving my patio doors open which is a massive risk i did ask at reception but it kept happing very poor serives especially being on the bottom floor , I was allocated room 1 which was fine had everything you needed for a holiday a little kitchenette if you wanted to cook negatively the view from the balcony was looking dieclty at back end of the bar and steps leading to the pool so sitting out there was a nightmare with people walking past and all the other rooms had gates but room 1 didn't due to steps so had to walk around which was a pain in my eyes. I stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was ok limited but always found something to eat and was always hot only negative was it was 8.30 till 10 due to a few trips I booked I had pick up at 8, 8.30 and so breakfast wasn't available wish like other hotels I stayed in it starts about 7am the area around the hotel is lush 5 minutes walk into town for shops and food i had for in [9 muses ] [ vergina] and [ la'kantas ] out the 3 La'kantas was my favourite , if you want to venture into corfu town there is a bus stop left at the main road but get your tickets IN THE MINI SUPERMARKET on the right just leaving the hotel it's 2 euros ish cheaper I had a lovely time here and will return go with an open mind and enjoy your holiday

We found the apartments to be lovely and clean. Very fresh and modern. Sure there’s the odd mark on the paintwork here and there (in what hotel room isn’t there) but nothing to ruin/affect your stay. Maid service done every second day, no complaints. A/C worked fine. Stayed in room 69 which was at the end of the corridor so had a slightly larger room with it being the last one. Pool area was good, a bit small if the hotel is full. Only slight negative is some of the sun loungers need replacing and only half of them get full sun all day. Roof terrace was lovely (could put some loungers up there). Breakfast was good, the kind of variety I’d expect in 3 star accommodation. Relaxed about the timings as well, they didn’t clear it away immediately so you could be a bit late.
Had nothing taken from our room (locked valuables in suitcases) but the maids never really touched any other personal items anyway.
The hotel is slightly tucked away on the opposite side of the main road to the centre of Gouvia. Heard no noise of the road from the hotel. Didn’t bother us crossing the road, pedestrian crossings in place. Never felt unsafe at night. Gouvia itself has lots of restaurant choices. We visited a few different areas (Pelekas, Benitses and Palaiokastritsa) which were nice on a day out but Gouvia has more to offer in terms of eating out on an evening. Get the idea that no place apart from the capital is particularly big in Corfu. Didn’t really use the beach (not beach people). Easy to go into Corfu Town (bus stop at the end of the street).
Would happily go back to both the hotel and the area.

Stayed for just 4 nights with my daughter. Check in was easy and the gentleman was very friendly. He showed us to our room carrying my daughters case. Room on the second floor (there was a lift)was very spacious with a full kitchen, bathroom , bedroom and two couches. Nice balcony overlooking the pool. You have access to all the pools apart from a small private one. The rooms were cleaned regularly and towels changed every other day. Everywhere seemed very clean. Pool was lovely, quite deep at one end and slightly colder than I expected, probably because one side is in the shade at this time of year. The location is only 5/10 mins walk from the bars and restaurants. Some small hills around the hotel and on the way to the village. You have to cross the main dual carriageway but there is a crossing where you meet the road so it is no problem. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would mention is that wooden furniture on tiled floors makes quite a lot of noise when moved, so you know when everyone is awake in the morning!

The apartments are modern and the grounds & pool area well maintained.
However we found the walk into Gouvia across a very busy dual carriageway a bit overwhelming. This would be even more daunting if you have children I would imagine.
The town of Gouvia is not great. We found it a bit shabby and the so called beach is merely an extention of the adjacent car park and is dirty, full of litter and general debris. We travelled to nearby Ipsos & Kassiopi which were generally nicer towns with a better ambience and much cleaner beaches & facilities.
We wouldn't go back to Gouvia :( :(

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palapart Gikas studio. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen area included a full cooker and hob plus a large fridge and freezer. The shower needed a bit of familiarisation to get the position right to prevent it wetting the floor, but fine once you know. The whole complex was kept spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. We opted for a swim-up room and it was fantastic in the really hot weather. You do need to cross a busy road to get into Gouvia town but there are pedestrian crossings in place. It is only a short walk into town and this complex is set in a very quiet area.
