Clean and comfortable rooms. Room has a kitchenette with toaster/ coffee/ tea/ microwave. Tasteful decor and comfortable bed. Easy access to Werribee zoo and surrounds. All rooms are ground floor. Quick and efficient check in though I do question the need for $300 guarantee on a prepaid room. Maybe rooms have been trashed in the past?

Location is great if you want peace and quite, front door car parking. Staff are always friendly and rooms are large and well presented. On this visit, the room had large dirty stains in the carpet, mouse traps all over the room. Under the bed was 5 packets of ratsak and bed had not moved for a long time as carpet was filthy and the wall end bed base cover was covered in dust build up. Security door handle was broken, cupboard shelve had not been cleaned for along time and a dirty moulded tea towel sitting was also on cupboard shelve. All was reported within the hour of arrival and were not acted on during the 3 day stay. Food was good.

Stayed overnight as party of a wedding group, room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Fast internet was a bonus, great for streaming. On the downside, coffee in the rooms was terrible and the outside light coming through the glass panels in the door during the night. The pool also looked murky so we didn't venture in to look closer (plus the fact we couldn't get the door to open).
From a food and beverage perspective, give their services a miss. We had the breakfast buffet but would recommend eating elsewhere unless you want basic cereals and toast. On a plus side (if you like them) they had a machine that makes pancakes and plenty of maple syrup available.

Worst ever resort ! They charged 150 bucks extra Per night compared to others. Overpriced food. Room heater was not working, they didn’t have extra blankets in the room. When we asked for it they didn’t respond for an hour and then gave it from someone’s room with stains on it. I didn’t complain even after that, and then while checking out they asked for 35 bucks extra Per night for opening the convertible sofa bases on that we asked for extra sheet. They didn’t tell us until the last minute they there’s charge for opening the sofa. And acted like doing us a big favour by waving the charge. I would not recommend this resort at all. Very poor quality, services and food.

+1
Was pleasantly greeted by receptionist.
State of cleanliness external area was very poor. Front door covered in dust. Our room overlooked dam with water feature. But area was full of weeds and chairs outside room covered in dust.
When we rang reception re-outdoor area was told they would contact maintenance; however, when we went to reception we were told the best she could do was a roll of paper towel, did offer to come over and clean; however my wife was very unhappy and said she would do it herself
We could have stayed at a cheaper option that was clean & tidy, but as we hadn’t been able to visit family since 2019 thought we would spoil ourselves. But for $250.00 per night. Extremely disappointing outcome

I booked the rooms for my daughters birthday, I noted this on the booking also. She was told at check in she couldn't use the credit card details I had booked with and also had to pay an extra $300 security deposit that was not listed anywhere. I rang and spoke to the hotel the staff member was very rude and said well they don' t have to stay here - I nearly told them to go elsewhere but thought the hotel would then charge me cancellation. So she paid the full amount. When they got to the room there was hair on the bedding, coffee mug stains, the shower was held together with duct tape and the shower had mould in it. After complaining they were moved to a slightly cleaner room. Now have to wait 7 days to receive $300 back- this resort and I use that term very loosely was overproced and under delivered.

Wrong room was given to us . We booked via third party
We paid extra for a lake view room which was not available on the day upon check in.
Manager, Siva was not helpful, he promised to check with booking.com, but never came back to me.
Ac didn't work on a hot 37deg day and we have a toddler. End up putting toddler in the spa to cool down.
Our Car spot was taken on arrival.
Broken chair on patio, with pointy metal bits
Broken pieces of plastic in wardrobe
Spa didn't function
Sand under the pillows! Go figure
Please stay away, all the above were brushed away by the management team. No one came back to me regarding the issues we had.
We paid at reception upon check-in and not even a refund of the extra we paid to get a lakeview room.

My Terrible experience started when I got told out of the blue that I had pay a $300 party bond ( i am over 50) for one night and if I don’t have a party I will get it refunded in two weeks.
On top of that the food was priced like Sydney CBD prices and poor and cold and if you order room service they charge you at your door with a EFTPOS machine in hand and then double charge you on your room account .
There is also confusion as to who is in charge and they are just all over the place and to top it off the rooms and grounds are filthy.
This once was a great little hotel and now it’s been spoiled by what looks like some form of cut price budget strategy.

50 50 whether room gets made up or not. Friendly welcoming staff and good sized rooms. Needs a bit of tlc. Example, paintwork, one tea spoon, glasses dirty, milk in fridge opened prior to arrival!. Stayed sixteen nights over four occasions in the last year but unlikely to return

Deep breath... I will try to contain myself as I post this review.
Such a terrible experience. Our baby boy turned 1 years old so we had travelled from county Victoria to have lunch with family in Melbourne.
Decided to stay out of the city , somewhere nice and quiet with a spa.
So we booked this hotel.
We arrived at 7pm exhausted and my baby was crying , hungry.
It was so cold, I mean freezing!!!!!
We had no idea where we were as it was in the middle of nowhere and there was a bad smell in the air. The room however was tidy and clean and a nice spa.
But we didn't even unpack of sit in there.
No heating!! Oh and no other rooms avail that had heating?!
So there we were , freezing and the reception area was like ice! So cold I felt so sorry for the lady working there.
We had the receptionist call other places for us but none were available.
Finally a place in Werribee was avail so we went there , got there around 830pm! Still my son had no feeding!!!
Lucky the place we went to was warm and caring. Werribee short stay , very clean and nice.
My biggest complaint is the the manager of d'olive wouldn't even pay us $10 difference because of the inconvenience they caused. The receptionist was so nice and offered to pay herself but we of course refused. I really hope she finds work elsewhere where it's truthful to customers and warm and a great atmosphere.
This place has no heating and it's cold and in the middle of nowhere and they are very tight when it comes to helping out guests who believed they had heating working.
Next time notify people prior to booking that you have quite a few rooms without heating working. It's winter for goodness sakes!!!
We will be taking this further.

Good morning, Thank you for your review and im sorry it was not a very good one. I have also responded to your husband on another website and cannot apologise enough for the awful experience you had with our hotel. As discussed with your husband I would like to offer you a nights accommodation and will take care of the booking myself to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations. Our General Manager is away at the moment but I have passed this onto her. Once again I cannot apologise enough.
