Such a beautifully kept camp ground. All the facilities are kept in top condition and the cleanliness is 10/10. We stayed in a pet friendly cabin and was great to have them with us. The cabin was cleaned and comfortable The staff are super friendly and helpful too We will definitely be back.

Good stay but they failed to honour a seniors discount advertised on website said they would get back to me and sort out No response Don’t like being flicked off hence the 1 star review for very poor service

Wonderful place, clean, new facilities up to very high standard, friendly and helpful personnel. Private access to the beach and the walk up to the lookout was also very handy. Kids and dogs friendly. Will be bringing the whole family soon

We love Bowentown it has the perfect beach options of surf and sheltered bays within walking distance. The Bowentown Beach Holiday Park has excellent facilities and optimal camper sites to make the most of any weather.

Best camping grounds ever. Very helpful and friendly staff, lots of space between campers, awesome cafe, all facilities are so so clean, and 7 minute showers!! Add to that a fabulous beach and walks over the hills nearby.

The facilities would be the cleanest that we have ever come across. All staff are so friendly and as for the little Cafe you can not go past the great coffee and the cakes. If you not stayed here you are missing a great experience.

Beautiful spot and a really lovely campground. We camped with our two dogs who were made welcome and had a great time on the beach. The beach is right beside Bowentown Campground. Campsite has great facilities and very friendly and helpful staff.

Good Goldcard discount for our 3 nights stay in a studio motel unit. But the queen bed was very hard and because I have osteoarthritis in my legs, I could not get comfortable. I was able to get this rectified just a little but not completely as the owner supplied a duvet to slip under the sheet, but a toppa pad would be better. Maybe take your own one? Maybe take extra kitchen & bathroom towels too as we found ours were not replaced while there. The wind was very strong one day and night, but it is winter time. But apart from that, it was a nice rest and not far from the hot pools at Athenree and the Waihi Beach shops.
