DO NOT Stay here! especially if they give you unit 1c. Firstly the carpark lay out is ridiculous signs say carpark A,B,C wouldn't you think we'd be in C NO Carpark A and no lift so if you have a wheelchair you have to push it up the ramp to access the lift! The unit was old and grubby with stains on the carpet and a strange smell. The flyscreen in the lounge didn't close properly and had a big hole in it. There were no curtains or blinds in the lounge so everyone playing tennis can see into your area and if you want to watch TV from the kitchen YOU CAN'T due to the glare on the TV for the windows. In the kitchen there was oil dripping from the range hood onto the stove top. The main bedroom had no air con or flyscreen so you had to keep the doors shut or get eaten by mosquitoes which had been previously squashed on the bedroom walls and not removed. The second bedroom HAD a flyscreen but the windows were nailed shut! We received a welcome letter on our arrival Sunday and it stated "A complimentary starter pack has been provided for your convenience, once depleted you will need to purchase additional items........" On Monday afternoon ( we had to wait until then as there was no one at reception when we left for the day at 8.55am) I went to reception to advise of the above. The young girl kept saying sorry and when I asked to speak to the manager the lady next to her piped up "I'm the manager". When I re mentioned the above Sara sarcastically told me "I'll get housekeeping to come in on Tuesday and IF you really need coffee I can give you a satchet now" Seriously the attitude was disgraceful and this is the worst so called resort we have EVER stayed in. Do yourself a favour and avoid there are plenty of other resorts located on the beach in this area. I just wish I'd chosen one of those :(

I checked into Room L5 6D for a three-night stay and am appalled with the condition and amenities of the residency. I reserved the 2 bedroom deluxe and noted that it included a 'modern' bathroom. In reality, the ensuite and bathroom haven't been updated since construction in the 1980s. While I note that the room is stated as having 'partially-renovated' living areas, the condition of the bathroom isn't displayed or detailed on any section of your website. The carpets in both bedrooms are threadbare and putrescent. I was also shocked to find that a 'deluxe' room is not equipped with any form of heating or cooling. Regarding cleanliness, the floor was filthy. It was caked in grime and I had to clean the entire tiled area on my hands and knees due to not having a mop. Much of the crockery in the cupboard, including fry pans, serving bowls and grater were dirty with food still stuck to them. The doonas were also dirty and one was smeared with makeup. In summary, if I had seen accurate photos of the 'modern' bathroom I would have never booked this accommodation which has been abated by deceitful marketing, let alone the myriad of cleanliness issues.

We booked through bookings .com a superior apartment two bedroom . Thinking we would get a beautiful Apartment! Wrong !! We got a total different apartment from the photos , We have just sheets on the bed no blankets at all , main bedroom door had hole and patches of paint missing , the onsuit bathroom. Well where do I start dirty shower screen basin rusty old and dirty ! Toilet brush I would use it so Old and dirty ! Kitchen cups were so dirty I had to bleach and dish-wash before using ! Mix match of plate and glasses we horrible looked cheap and looked like the were purchased from an opp shop ! This apartment was 7B the sofa has seen better day s for sure cutlery trays were old and cracked , junk in cupboards , dust every where well over due for a major clean ! Patio doors wouldn’t open properly and balcony railings were wobbly as you lean on it (safe issue here) Lots of Reno’s going on so loud noises going on ! So Disappointed as the beach was perfect and surrounding Restaurants and cafe were great ! Please do a complete check on this before booking .

Great location- close to beach and Currumbin inlet, as well as plenty of restaurants, takeaway, cafes, groceries (coles) nearby. Stunning outlook from our apartment on 18th floor overlooking beach, pool and view of the inlet. The living area and kitchen were ample and well-provisioned. Washing machine and dryer were very handy. The bathrooms and bedrooms are in dire need of an update, but bed was very comfortable and everything was functional. No air conditioning. The balcony doors and windows were not sealed and wind came whistling through or rattled them on the tracks with a big gust (frequently). Pool was great (lovey and warm) and the kids were stoked to play mini golf and tennis.

We stayed in a one bedroom on the 4th floor room 434. It had everything a couple would need for a weekly stay. Kitchen had a few pots - one large frying pan, one large pot and one smaller pot. Dishes bowls spoons forks etc were plenty. Had a toasted and an iron. Stove had 2 burners, there’s a microwave and full size refrigerator/ freezer, The bed was king size, but the mattress should be replaced sometime very soon. More than two people would be too crowded. Ramone checked us in. He was extremely efficient and very friendly. Two things I did not appreciate 1- we had to pay to park, mind you it was $10. Per Day not appropriate for guests. There was a valet, and I can see paying him if that’s what you want to do, but we chose to park our car as our beach chairs etc were in our car. 2- there was a daily charge for beach chairs.. ok.. no problem, but, if you chose to bring your own you had to be away from the paying guests and on the public side of the beach. Umbrellas were $20. Day chairs with umbrellas 30. Each. Costly…the resort had a beautiful pool, plenty of seats but as most places they fill up quickly. There was a DJ at the pool and a tiki bar for drinks and snacks. Full sized restaurant and food was good! Nightly specials and entertainment. If you choose to go out there were several restaurants and bars within walking distance. There is a spa - very fairly priced, a room where ladies played conasta and marjon. The resort is very nice and very clean!. Definitely should be on your radar!

Not a great start. Someone else parked in our park, no one at reception (the "Back in 5 minutes" sign is misleading in a closed up reception office) and no one answering the "emergency" contact number. Not even a way to leave a message. Apartment not particularly well suited to families. No fans or air conditioning in the main room and the windows only open a tiny amount because we're so high up. We've moved the chairs off the narrow balcony (I don't want my young kids climbing on the chairs and falling over railing!) so at least we can open the balcony door. A small pedestal fan in the living room smelt like an electrical fault and let out smoke as soon as we turned it on so we're not using that! Great view and looking forward to the pool but the apartment is very hot and there's no way to cool the room down and no way to get in contact with anyone.

We were so disappointed in our recent stay at the Royal Palm. Despite booking directly with them a few months ago, we didn't get any communications from them to advise of the significant renovations happening on the floors they had booked us into. We stepped out into chaos - no ceiling, wires hanging down, no carpet, nails sticking up, dust every where, strong paint smell. Dust through our room. A shrug when we complained to staff who offered to send a housekeeper - who never arrived. Tradies drilling, banging and blaring their radio outside our room at 7am each weekday morning. We complained again and was offered another room - in an even worse position! I'm doubtful it was even legal to rent rooms when it was so unsafe to walk through each day. Our actual room was in a great position - amazing view. But with grotty furniture (think uni share house quality), peeling paint on the walls and half used paint cans in the cupboard. The cleanliness was not good overall. We made the best of it, given the lack of options, but was really disappointed as this was our much needed family holiday for the year.

We stayed in a renovated room on the 24th out of 25 floors. The view was great as were the rooms. My parents stayed in a non-renovated room and you could tell it needed updating but they seemed to be happy with it. We did have some small spiders hiding in the curtains so it could do with a pest spray. The room was fully tiled (carpet in bedrooms) and the furniture was new. Location wise, it’s right on the beach which was great, it has a pool (with a slide) and heated spa. There is 1 1/2 tennis courts on the grounds as well as a mini golf course (it wasn’t that great). It is only just up the road from some restaurants, take away and supermarket, as well as a pub. Hit up a place called ‘The Collective’ it is great food and is a good place to meet up. We went to both Sea World and Movie World, both were disappointing (especially Sea World) as a number of rides were closed for ‘maintenance’ during the school holidays as well as long lines (2 1/2 hour wait for some rides) that they are blaming on COVID, even though only 1 carriage out of 2 was running on most rides which doesn’t make sense to me. They are both about 30 minutes from the resort. We also took a punt and drove up to Australia Zoo on one day which took about 2 hours.

First time staying at Royal Palm Resort in Palm Beach on the Gold Coast. Could not have chosen a better hotel to stay at. We have 2 young kids which sometimes makes it challenging but had such a great time staying here. Very clean apartment and helpful staff. Our apartment had everything we needed and felt like we were at home. Great pool, easy car parking and very comfortable rooms. Will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this resort to other travellers.

The room was putrid, hasnt been updated since the building was constructed. Furniture appears to have come from kerbside collection. I approached reception politely to ask if their was an alternative room.I was offered no solution. Its cheap I didn't expect a lot. Photos on booking sites are not accurate. They may be of one or two renovated rooms, don't take the gamble.
