Relaxation and rejuvenation comes to mind when you think of a holiday at Sea Mist Palms. When it comes to taking a break from a hectic lifestyle there’s a reason the Gold Coast is such a haven for people from all over the world. A warm climate, sandy beaches, theme parks, amazing shopping, even more amazing restaurants and a vibrant nightlife, the Gold Coast has it all. We are located 8km from the Gold Coast International Airport at Coolangatta and 20 minutes away from all theme parks. Sea Mist Palms is a short stroll from the Tallebudgera Recreation & Sports Centre and we are next door to the Tallebudgera Tourist & Caravan Park and directly opposite on the beach front is the iconic Tallebudgera Surf Lifesaving Club (Club Talle). Tallebudgera is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘a place for good fish’ and that’s what Club Talle likes to offer. Their menu offers fresh, local seafood, as well as great steaks, at reasonable prices.

My husband and I have just returned from a long weekend away with our 18month old at Sea Mist Appartments.
We had to have a late checkin and it was a very easy process to pick up the keys. They had secure undercover parking and internal access to the rooms. The apartments are 3 stories high so there are no lifts but we were on the second floor and it was fine.
We had a two bedroom apartment which had everything you would need. Full kitchen, bathroom/laundry with a bath and an ensuite in the main bedroom. Bed configuration was one queen in the main bedroom, and 2x singles in the other room. We set up our portacot in the spare room, we bought our own, however I think they are available to hire.
There were a basic set of toiletries etc, however we bought some extra toilet paper, laundry powder and dishwashing liquid to make it easier. There was a sign stating if you needed more supplies they were available from reception at a small fee.
The rooms were dated, but clean. The beds were on the harder side. There are new owners currently taking over and we met them on their day 3 of their take over. They were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They supplied a basket of goodies in the BBQ/pool area on Australia Day so we could celebrate down there. The pool was gorgeous and the photos don't do it justice. The BBQ was clean and easy to use.

The main complaint would be no aircon- they had fans supplied but it was still a little on the warmer side. Our bedroom fan was stuck on a low speed and the supplied fan remote either didn't work or wasn't actually belonging to that fan 🤔 we weren't too worried because we had a lovely breeze at night.
Because we had the windows/doors open it could get a bit of outside noise but that didn't bother us.
Coles was 5mins up the road to grab anything you need. You could walk across the road (traffic lights = crossing safely) to the beach and talle creek. It was a great position. The new owners have some updating plans which would make this an amazing place!! Saying that, we would stay there again in a heart beat. Thank you

I stayed at the Sea Mist Palms with my family, including two young children over the Easter Holiday. We found it exceptionally clean. Spacious rooms, with plenty of space for everything. Spacious private balcony which the kids loved. Perfect location, across the road from the beach, where we found a beautiful playground for the little ones& a nice cafe too. Highly recommended for families.

We came for a quick 2 night stay for an engagement / wedding party. The lady was still cleaning a room when we arrived and immediately came to greet us. She was extremely pleasant and friendly. Ava the cocker spaniel (I think) even come to say hello. The unit was very clean and tidy and I couldn't fault it. The only problem with the unit that I could see was a nice little iron spot melted into the carpet. It is a little noisy but what do you expect when you're sitting next to the the highway. Overall I was extremely pleased with the standard of this place considering it's a three star hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us Gail .

We booked at 4:30pm on Friday afternoon and were in the apartment by 8pm! Great location, spacious apartment with everything you could need. We have had a lovely couple of nights down here as a family. Only thing that is missing is some air conditioning. Will definitely be back

Wonderful hosts, Gail gave us a ground floor apartment to cater for my 89 year old mother. Happily return next time we are in Queensland. Close to Burleigh Heads and Palm Beach. Perfection. Spotless and tastefully decorated, manicured gardens and a pool with bbq facilities, ideal for a family or a couple.

Gail was very pleasant. We stayed 2 nights. Fans only in main bedroom and living area. No air conditioning - very disappointing. Extremely noisy. Nice sized unit however - lovely kitchen. Great parking. A little overpriced for a dated complex.

Our booking was cancelled due to ‘overbooking’ which doesn’t make sense considering we booked over a year in advance. When we made our booking there was plenty of other rooms available so why wasn’t a later booking cancelled? Very disappointing.

Gail the manager was very welcoming and took us through the unit. The 2 bedroom unit that was very spacious and it was on the ground floor and had a big deck on the side. Gail said this was an economy room, but I found it served the purpose for our stay. It had a good size kitchen, lounge, dining and bathroom was fine. I would stay there again, if we needed to be in this area.

Close to Talebudgera Beach and Creek. Thought the location would be noisy being on the main road but was relatively quiet. Nice sized rooms and clean. Comfy bed and good kitchen. Only complaint was being told not to use one of the bedrooms and bathroom as we had booked the economy room. Not our issue we were given this room. Main reason why rated a 3 instead of a 4.

Hi James, Thanks for your review, much appreciated. I think there may have been some misunderstanding about the use of rooms. You booked a one bedroom apartment which is why I mentioned about only using one bedroom/one bathroom. It wouldn't have mattered if you booked a Standard or Economy unit as the conditions would have been the same. Sorry about the confusion. Would love to see you back again soon. Kind regards,
