Globales Cala'n Blanes enjoys a prime spot that's highly praised by many travelers for its proximity to stunning beaches and picturesque coves. While the hotel's vibrant atmosphere and array of entertainment options are popular, there are mentions of high noise levels at night. Guests commend the clean and comfortable amenities, though entertainment and room facilities could see enhancements.
The staff receives accolades for their professionalism and friendliness, contributing to the hotel's commendable service. The sea view rooms are a hit for their space and vistas, despite some rooms being described as outdated. Overall, the hotel is celebrated for cleanliness and value, although extra costs and inconsistent room quality are noted.

We booked a week all inclusive at this hotel through Jet2. All travel arrangements went without any issues. On arrival check in was quick and staff were friendly and helpful. We checked out our room (118) and were a bit disappointed, so asked at Reception about an upgrade. Unfortunately no sea view rooms were available, but we were offered Room 513 at no additional charge. Reception again were extremely helpful and accommodating. This room was much better, although looked out over the entrance area/car park. Only downside was the bath and over bath shower. Anyone with mobility issues would have extreme difficulty accessing the bath or shower. Strangest thing was that the tap was at the far end of the bath, so to fill the bath you had to stand in it - not ideal! The room was comfortable, clean and more than adequate. Cleaning was available daily and no restrictions on towel or bed linen replacement. Our only problem was the apparent chain smoker in the next room - using the balcony was unpleasant at times due to the smell of smoke. The air conditioning was somewhat noisy and also seemed to bring the smell of smoke in to the room occasionally, however it worked well most of the time. The drinks available as part of the all inclusive deal were fine, with the possible exception of the Majorcan whisky (maybe just to Scots accustomed to more refined distillation!). We found the variety of food to be very good, with good options of meat, fish and seafood available at both lunch and dinner as well as salads, paella, pizza, etc. All topped up regularly and good selection of fresh fruit and desserts. Breakfasts were also very good. The restaurant staff were particularly hard working and helpful (special mentions for Jonathan and Sheila!) - indeed all the hotel staff that we had dealings with were very helpful and hard working - a real credit to the hotel. No issues at any time with table availability or cleanliness. No real issues with sun bed availability around the pool or garden area. Not much to do in the area around the hotel, but the walk to and from Ciutadella was really nice. The beach adjacent to the hotel is quite small and swimming a bit restricted. After a really enjoyable stay it was disappointing to end on a sour note - the early breakfast provided for those departing on early flights comprised a choice of four small varieties of biscuit and hot drinks from a machine - not even any water or fruit juice, not to mention fruit or croissants or other normal continental breakfast options. Frankly I would be embarrassed to offer this to guests if I were the hotel manager (even if it is viewed as better than nothing).

A first all inclusive holiday with two young grandchildren and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and tidy, our room (128) was large, spacious with plenty of storage a good sized bathroom with a shower over a small bath. The room was quiet with a small balcony overlooking the hotel front. Room (101) was also large and spacious with a view over the pool area and a view of the sea. This room was directly above the bar and entertainment area so sleep could be disturbed until the bar closed at midnight. All staff were polite courteous and very helpful and quick to deal with any issues or questions. The pool area was clean and tidy and at the time of travel in early June finding a sunbed was not a problem. The pool is open at 10am but sunbeds are available earlier. The food was varied, plentiful and restocked regularly. The only issue we found was it lacked taste, was rather bland and could have been hotter. The evening meal started at 7pm which we thought was a little late for young ones. With the exception of a small childrens pool there was little to entertain very young children during the day. The staff were excellent in arranging some activities throughout the day for older children/adults and also some small entertainment in the evening prior to bingo aimed at younger children but that was it. Pool towels are subject of a deposit and 1 euro each to change. A safe is 45 euro's with a returnable 10 euro deposit. It's a short 10 minute walk into Cala'n Blanes and there are numerous restaurants and supermarkets. The small beach which is popular and can get very busy is reached via steep steps from the hotel and also a pathway which has to be from the front of the hotel via the main road. Sunbeds are 9 euro's per day from 10am. We all enjoyed our stay at this hotel and as the week went on and more people arrived it was obvious it is a popular destination. The main thing is our grandchildren enjoyed their first foreign holiday and this hotel was a good choice and good value for money.

Just back from another relaxing and enjoyable stay at Globales Cala n Blanes in Menorca. Ignore some of the negative review comments by others – This is a three star hotel which with a few tweeks cold be four star, the hotel is in a great location overlooking an inlet sandy beach in a peaceful area near Ciutadella. The hotel is spotlessly clean and staffed by great friendly people with particular thanks to the reception staff who go out of their way to help with any enquiries. If you can book a sea view room then do so as rooms are bigger with balconies overlooking the inlet. This was our second visit (first was October last year) and has a great relaxing feel – will hopefully return soon – many of other guests have been here multiple times and this speaks well of the hotel's reputation. At busy times the sunbeds by the pool are quickly taken up but there are always plenty others on the grassy area next to the pool and sports area – never went without one on either holiday. We again found the food selection very acceptable and regularly topped up so never short of any dishes on offer. Good selection of drinks in the bar with good service from hardworking bar staff. Entertainment not the best as every night starts with bingo which doesn't interest me – best act was the two tenors who were great but unfortunately had a small audience as they were on at same time as the Euros football final. If you want a good relaxing holiday in a good hotel then ignore some of the negative comments and pay attention to the good reviews from people who are regulars and appreciate good staff service.

Just returned from a fantastic 10 day stay with my husband and two sons ages 14 and 12. We had a gorgeous sea view room 116 which had an enormous balcony looking out to the cove. The room was cleaned daily and was sufficient for our needs. It was nice for my boys to have a proper bed instead of the usual sofa bed. The only thing I would say about the room was the air conditioning wasn’t great and as it was 32’ during our stay it was too warm at night. The reception staff were brilliant and made us feel very welcome on check in and out. We had a few queries which they always dealt with smiles and professionalism. The bar staff were outstanding always smiling and working hard to make sure the bar was spotless and everyone was served without delay. Africa and Jon in the bar really made our stay pleasurable, taking the time to have a chat and teach my eldest son Spanish. The all inclusive drinks are fine but if you want an extra treat the Pina Colada and Mojitos are about €6.50 euros. There are all inclusive cocktails available as well. My family found the food fine lots of salad, fish and meats available. Pizza, chips and pasta always available. Being a coeliac I did struggle a little with the dishes available but the restaurant manager Jonathan would ask me everyday if I would like gluten free bread or pasta and even made the kitchen make me a special fruit salad which was delicious. A special shout out to Sheila in the restaurant and all the lovely young ladies (apologies I didn’t get all your names) for making each mealtime pleasurable. Jonathan you are a real asset to Glabales, thank you. We ventured out for a few meals in town which is a short walk away. Voramar bar is lovely for sunsets and a drink and there is an amazing Indian and Bbq restaurant that cater for coeliacs. Thank you everyone for making aur stay so special

We generally visit 4 or 5 star all inclusive so were a little apprehensive as the hotel was only 3 star all inclusive but quickly found the hotel offers a good value for money holiday.
Rooms on one side of the building are small, (we had to put our empty suitcases on the balcony) . It may be worth paying for sea view as the second and third floors have larger rooms and a big balcony, some with sun beds. Plentiful coat hangers were provided in the wardrobe. Bedroom lamps are low energy LED and give good levels of lighting
Meals are in a modern style restaurant with new tables and chairs. Don't expect a fine dining experience as it's a small 3 star hotel the choice of food in the restaurant was more limited than larger higher rated hotels but we always found something to suit our tastes. Finding a clean table to sit at was rarely an issue, but when it was, the restaurant manager quickly arranged to clear a suitable sized table for your party. During main meals opening times wine and beer are help yourself from pumps in the restaurant. A designated snack area is in the restaurant outside the hours of opening for main meals.
The pre breakfast towel brigade claimed the poolside sunbeds but there is ample space in the garden with piles of new sun beds you can place as you wish. Over 75% of the pool is 1.6 metres or more (5 feet) deep. 5 a side football / tennis court area seemed under used Drinks are served in good quality hard plastic glasses during the day. An excellent way to avoid broken glass near the pool area. In the evening glass is used for all drink types.
Both the restaurant and pool were accessed steps, no step free access is available. Our room(413) had a bath in a cubicle area that would have been easier to access had it been a shower.
These points together with a single elevator with a very heavy door should be considered by those with mobility issues. Visitors were from Central and Eastern Europe but the clear majority are British
The nearest small convenience store is 1 minute to the right of the entrance road to the hotel or 10 min walk to a larger convenience store (left out of front entrance right at next junction).
Jet2 rate this 3 star and we feel this is accurate, As other reviews have mentioned the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Congratulations to local management for giving the hotel the feel of a family run establishment and it's a good advert for the Globales brand. It's a place we would visit again but we'd pay extra and choose a sea view room next time.
Note:Mahon Airport spirit's were more expensive than local shops or on board Jet2.

My husband and I spent ten nights here. We paid for a seaview room on the top floor. Wow, the view was wonderful. We were greeted by Natalie on reception, who was just the loveliest sweet natured lady who went above and beyond for everyone. The room was fine, bathroom basic but I think that they need to be updated to walk in showers. The balcony was a very good size. Cleaners came every day (quite early, so we put a sign out so as not to be disturbed). One lift, which was quite small, it took four people at a push. Very clean and spacious areas everywhere. We laid on the grassed area when we didn’t go down to the cove. You had to be up early for a bed around the pool (yes, the Brits reserved them with towels and went missing for hours). There was a lovely little terrace area at the bar which was like a sun trap. I don’t want to moan about the food (I’m not a fussy eater) there is something for everyone and I enjoyed everything I ate. Lots of fresh salad, pasta, fish, meat, pizza. We ate out every other night because the restaurants in the area are fab. Bingo every night (I won!). Entertainment on most nights or a quiz. We missed the karaoke night on purpose! This is a hotel to go to for mostly relaxation. Not a lot going on for the kids in my opinion. The entertainment staff were great, really friendly without being pushy. The bar staff worked hard and were polite and cheery to everyone even when guests were rude to them. Why can’t people use manners when ordering drinks?! Why do they talk to them like they are servants ?! Every single member of staff in this hotel should be commended and I will return here because of them.

The location of the hotel is wonderful. The stairs from the terrace lead practically to the beach. The rooms were clean, a bit tired, I had the impression that if I pulled the handle harder, the door would fall off with its frame and the central air conditioning was inefficient. Very nice Mrs. Natalia at the reception, whose smile after leaving the elevator put us in a good mood in the morning. It is worth paying extra and taking a room on the top floor with a beautiful view of the sea and the bay with a large balcony. I don't know if it's like this all the time, but the cook was not an expert in meat because most of it was inedible, hard and many people left it on the plate. Since we had a rented car (OK Mobility rental - I definitely do not recommend it), there was a large parking lot right next to the hotel. The service in the restaurant and bar was unsmiling, and the all-inclusive drinks were poured as if by grace, although I didn't bother and only used them a little late in the evening after returning from a trip.

Just back from a week's stay at this fantastic hotel, the location being right on the beach of a lovely cove which our room overlooked. We stayed all inclusive food was absolutely fantastic plenty of choice they even have the restaurant open after lunch for a snack.plenty of varraity from lovely fish including shellfish, steaks pasta and lovely fresh salad. Breakfast has plenty of choice and we could always find something to eat.Drinks and bar staff were excellent with a vast array of drinks all so tea and coffee and. the bar area was always kept clean with plenty seating..The hotel is spotless I even witnessed them cleaning well after 10 o'clock in the evening. Entertainment was very good from sports and activities and live music of an evening to a good standard. There are also a few different coves with in walking distance , cala n brut has one that is not for the faint hearted cliff jumping into the sea with excellent snorkeling opportunities. Ciutudela is well worth a visit we went twice walked once along the coast the second visit via a bus witch the stop is over the road from the hotel and at €1.70 is excellent value. So summing up this is a fantastic chilled out hotel were the staff actually want you to have a fantastic holiday. Looking forward to our next visit in the not so distant future.

First time staying here and wasn't disappointed. Bit gutted we didn't get a sea view from balcony like our friends but for the amount of time we spent in the room it didn't really matter. The hotel is absolutely spotless and our room was cleaned daily to an excellent standard. The staff are all lovely including the reception staff. Jonathan the entertainment man was brilliant! He went above and beyond and was fun and remembered people's names. Food really good and the little theme nights are a nice touch. Salads are so fresh, plenty choice and the rest of the dishes are very tasty. Beach a little rocky and a bit dangerous without water shoes and jellyfish warnings some days. Not the best beach... But calan brut the cliff diving is like a little piece of heaven. This is about a 20 min walk. It's just amazing. Crystal clear sea with the most gorgeous fish. The bus ride to cuitadella is well worth a visit cheap clean air con bus and the town is buzzing with plenty shops markets x2 weekly and open air bars. Highly recommend a visit. Atlantic restaurant joining aqua park is good but the food inside the water park is fabulous and not overpriced. Staff are friendly too. Water park is a fab day out and I'd say get the waterpark included with your package hotel deal save a fortune. Pirates bar is good but pricey and sa cova on the beach is good for a ice cold drink and good view. It was my husbands birthday and I asked the hotel would they put my banner etc up and they made a lovely area outside the dining room special for us all the eat and celebrate at dinner. There's a cat colony and the bottom of the hotel opposite pirates bar. They are looked after by an outside body. They are just so lovely! We fed them and spent time daily with them ... And got a bit attached. Would have loved to smuggle them home I would probably return here but the small cove beach wasn't the best. So I'd use other beaches like calan forcat.

We stayed all inclusive basis for four nights as a family of three with a young child we originally booked a promotional room through jet 2 I was expecting it to be clean but basic but was very dissatisfied with the room we ended up paying a further 80 euro to upgrade as I could not have stayed in the original room it smelt like damp no outside space and the bathroom was very dated with smallest bath with overhead shower I had ever seen not like as advertised on jet 2, but once we upgraded we were put in a spacious room with large terrace which had a beach view and we were very happy with the room it was very clean towels changed daily bathroom was still dated but spacious and clean. We found the staff at the hotel to be very friendly. We enjoyed the location of the hotel and found it very easy to get around walking to los defines on an evening with bars and restaurants inflatables for children. bus stop around corner takes you to ciutadella in 10 mins well worth a visit we went out every evening as entertainment for children was not good at all we were advised this early on from another family that stayed. I don't feel like this is an all-inclusive hotel the food choice was the worst I have ever been to I am not a fussy eater but there was no choice so mainly ate salads breakfast was fine but lunch and dinner we the same every day we left Hungary and had to get food out the choice for children was terrible just pasta or pizza, you could only get snack in the restaurant and could not take out so no ice creams for round pool or burgers so this was not ideal overall we enjoyed the holiday but the food and lack of children's entertainment really let's the hotel down compared to other 3 star all inclusive I have stayed in the hotel as a bed and breakfast basis for adults would be fine and the staff make staying at the hotel a nice experience.

Dear Qjader, Thank you for sharing your review with us. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. Our promotional rooms do not have a balcony, which is why they cost a little less than the others. Your travel agent should have informed you about this. Regarding your comments about the food, we are sorry that you did not enjoy the different dishes we offer to our guests, which are never the same for lunch and dinner. In regard to not being able to take food out of the restaurant, we follow strict Health and Safety regulations to ensure that our guests have their food in proper storage conditions. Most of the activities in our entertainment programme can be followed by both adults and children but we also have activities for the little ones such as T-shirt painting, arts and crafts or mini disco. Please note that these activities take place depending on the number of children. Should you decide to gives us a second chance, we would be glad to welcome you back.
