We are coming to the end of a 10 day stay and it has been awsome for us( 2 kids 15 and 13) the location it one of the best around. We stayed in a room that has not yet been renovated BUT we have no complaints at all. The apartment is super clean and plenty of room for us. For the cost here it it amazing value, if you want a newer place this close to everything you will be paying twice as much as what you pay here. We were up on a high level so opened windows and doors for a beautiful breeze flowing through. I do though think that in peak summer you may have issues with heat in the bedrooms but this time of year it is fine and apartments are getting upgraded with aircons in bedrooms. We look forward to staying again.

Wow, what an awesome weekend we had. Will certainly be back. Talisman is within a short walking distance of the Oasis Shopping Centre and many cafes and restaurants. It was lovely having the patrolled beach just across the road, and Kurrawa Park on the other side. Our apartment was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The views from the lounge, kitchen and bedrooms were spectacular. The hot tub was so large and really warm. Pool temperature was also great. The apartment, foyer, lifts, garden/bbq and pool area were all immaculately kept. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and we complimented them on how refreshing the entrance smells when you walk in as this made an excellent first impression.

Stayed in a great apartment on the 8th floor. Amazing outlook that encompassed both the ocean and mountains. Loved having view of both sunrise and sunset. Management friendly and helpful. Fantastic location with 1 minute walk to beach, 5 minute walk to supermarket, restaurants and cafes.
Furnishings were a bit tired. Make sure to bring your own supplies , 1 roll loo paper only provided, kitchen lacked some basics like salt n pepper , alfoil, breadboard etc. Location and outlook made up for these minor things. Would stay again.

We had an awesome little getaway for 3 nights in a renovated apartment. The view was absolutely incredible, and the location hard to beat. Literally right on the beach, next to Kurrawa park, and short walk to Broadbeach shops, restaurants and surf club. Apartment was modern, clean and well appointed. Wifi and smart TV with all the apps (Netflix, Kayo, Amazon, etc etc) was an added bonus which was great for the kids. The heated pool and surrounds were great, and was so nice to shower off and jump in the warm pool after a surf with the kids at the beach. The management were really friendly, and were always keen for a chat when we were at reception. In summary, we loved our little family getaway at Talisman, and are looking forward to our next stay!

We specifically chose this building as it is brilliantly positioned. 50 meters from the beach.. 200 meters from an excellent shopping center and just 3 or 4 minutes from a good selection of cafes and restaurants. Being an older building ( a plus- believe me). Our apartment had been nicely renovated .. There was plenty of room to move around .. 2 excellent bathrooms, a separate fully equipped laundry generous kitchen, wrap around balcony and sensational uninterrupted views from the main room, kitchen and bedrooms . The pool is big and sheltered from any wind that might spring up.. Our only suggestion is that there could be more utensil in the kitchen . We were perfectly happy not to go out to dinner but found that a few kitchen essentials were not provided.. like a second chopping board, a strainer for salad making, a couple more pots and pans.. Also .. on a stay longer that 3 days you really need to have more that 2 rubbish bags , dish washing liquid etc.. Nothing major that a trip to the local supermarket didn't fix .. but would have been nice to be replenished every few days.. BUT totally, thoroughly recommended. We will most certainly be back....

Our family of 4 recently stayed on level 18 (apartment 56) looking out to the beach and south over the park. What an amazing view in all directions from 2 balconies and all the windows. A very spacious apartment with everything you need. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full size dining table and lounges. The location is absolutely perfect and a lock up garage for the car. The managers of the complex are lovely, answering any questions we had and let us into our apartment a few hours early. The pool was heated in winter which we enjoyed and all very clean. Broadbeach is the perfect place to stay.

We stayed here and initially we were very happy with the location, so close to the beach despite the 1990s decor and poor condition of the apartment. After discovering a couple of small issues with the apartment that required attention we politely approached management about them, WOW! What a mistake that was! The elderly chap who manages this place is seriously UNPLEASANT! It set an awful tone for the rest of our stay. Also, pretty much NO air cond.
You get a very old run down building in a nice spot, but with a cantankerous manager (Wayne) who does not want to know about you despite this place charging us TOP dollar! We certainly didn't bother with him again and tried to still enjoy the views and our stay.
We chatted to another couple staying there at the pool who also said they had a similar unpleasant experience with him! Some people just should not be working in hospitality, or maybe just know when to retire. We have already booked our next stay close by in Broadbeach in a much more modern building, with nice managers for a cheaper price. Never again Talisman! Read less

carsonJ3751PD The position of Talisman Apartments is one of the best on the Gold Coast to enjoy our uninterrupted ocean views & picturesque hinterland views. Disappointed you feel Talisman is a run down old building. In recent years we have renovated all our apartment entrance foyers, the reception foyer & Basement foyer. The swimming pool area was refurbished & pool chairs replaced prior to your stay at Talisman Apartments. Majority of apartments are completely renovated. We have other apartments partially renovated & a small number of apartments which haven't been to date. All apartments are air conditioned in the lounge/dining area with the exception of a few renovated apartments which also have air conditioning in the bedrooms. All the apartments which haven't air conditioning in bedrooms have ceiling fans. Reviews are read by people who may consider staying, eating or visiting a place which is reviewed. Honesty is Paramount.

My wife and I recently returned from our annual holiday at Talisman. We again occupied Apartment 23 on the 7th floor, the 8th time we have chosen this one.
Whilst one of the older apartments, being a corner one and true beachfront, the view is terrific from all outlooks and you can see all the way to Coolangatta.
Last year Sarah and Tommii had taken over the management just 3 weeks prior to our arrival and were clearly facing some hurdles.
This year, they seemed more relaxed and our welcome was fantastic. Most permanent residents and travellers seem happy and are treated well.
Kirsty is a great addition to the team in the front office, and the young couple who do the housekeeping are very professional, helpful and kind.
Cleaning and maintenance is obviously a top priority throughout the building. The heated pool and spa have never been better.
Sarah and Tommii even enthusiastically helped facilitate a surprise visit from other family members whilst we were there.
Not surprisingly, we have already rebooked for next year.

We stayed here many years ago and loved it! Because of its popularity it’s been hard to get in at times, but finally we managed to secure 10 wonderful days here. Apartment was clean, tidy, modern and had a great views! Swimming pool has all day sun and is heated which was divine on cooler days. Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and manage the complex to a high standard. Wonderful says it all really.

All the units have air-conditioning and ceiling fans. As a minimum all have air-conditioning in the lounge/dining room and fans in the bedrooms. There are others that have air-conditioners in all the rooms . Being located opposite the beach the sea breezes are also excellent and on many days the air conditioning is not necessary.
There are more places to choose from in the Broadbeach area.
