When arriving in Broadbeach we found out our original hotel booking, at a more expensive hotel, had been cancelled. We found HiHo on website search. They had 1 large apartment left. We rang them and they were so helpful and friendly. When we arrived they showed us the room before we paid to make sure we were happy with it. It was a 2br apartment with kitchen. It was clean, bright, airy, roomy with a big balcony. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook 3 meals per day. If we needed some equipment in kitchen it was provided promptly. Owners were so friendly and helpful- no request was too bothersome. They also provided us with very competitive prices for extra rooms for our friends from overseas. We were so impressed and are glad our original accommodation was cancelled because we loved our stay at HiHo. Location so close to local gym, supermarket, beach and convention centre. Was convenient having a washing machine in the apartment. Coin dryer is in the basement. Beds were comfortable. Pool and spa clean and well maintained. Of note there is a toilet on the ground floor which is convenient when you have a large family. Also had an ocean view from the balcony. We would definitely stay at Hi Ho again. Highly recommend it.

Our first real get away after having our first child. We managed to have a wonderful, relaxing time, in no small part thanks to this great accommodation!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, really made us feel at home. A great value offering, the Hi Ho is a real piece of gold coast history and has that nice classic gold coast character, everything is very neat and tidy, beautiful artworks adorns the hallways. Lift is brand new and feels sophisticated, our 'superior one bedroom apartment' was newly renovated and very nice and practical. Huge living space for our little one to crawl around in. Very safe for him, even the balcony (which had a solid, no gaps barrier), beautiful sea view from there too which is no surprise given just how close you are to the beach. Very quick stroll to the Broadbeach mall and the many great eateries it offers, and also the amazing Broadbeach park playground.
Back to the apartment and the kitchenet was great to use, made frying up a breakfast very easy.

Great location, close to beach and shops. Great communication, customer service, clean with all household requirements, comfy beds and because it’s a smaller building it was quiet and we often had the pool & spa to ourselves. Thanks.

Apartment 603 has had the cheapest ( supposed) renovation ever !
# The bathroom is absolutely disgusting… not even clean. Stained/ dirty floor between old bath & washing machine. #Painted tiles on wall & floors…. BUT Chipped & paint peeling around bath & surrounds… Very obviously a home made job ( paint not even straight). Paint around toilet all chipped #. Done a long time ago # Cabinet drawers were stained & very badly marked # Ceilings had plaster hanging down Handbasin taps had dirt behind them #Edges of bath were stained/ dirty
Kitchen cupboards were not clean in the corners Had one plastic bowl & a colander….. no other containers provided. Plastic table & chairs were very cheap
Balcony needed cleaning & upgrading
The position is fabulous.
The bedroom was adequate & bed comfortable New curtains & carpet in the bedroom
The owners of this apartment need to be told to completely renovate
Other visitors there found their apartments comfortable & had been updated
603 should not be available till owners complete an update

This accommodation provider is dishonest and unprofessional. I stayed here recently and the double bed was broken - the metal beams were entirely broken, making the bed sag in the middle. My partner fixed it as best we could during the night but ultimately had an awful sleep. Further, a random man entered the property at 8am with an access card with no warning or explanation.
When I tried to contact the property in the days after to discuss the issue they lied to me about why the man had entered (saying he was there to fix the bed despite ‘no issues’ with the bed) and denied there being any issues with the bed because I didn’t take photographic evidence.
The facilities were also old and unclean but that the was the least problematic part.
Disgusting customer service and I would never recommend this accommodation.

We always stay at HiHo. It's not the fanciest accommodation on the Gold Coast but it's got a perfect location across the road from the beach, very near the swimming flags, minutes from numerous restaurants and shops. Also it's comfortable, clean and friendly. It has everything you could want including pool, spa and cafe.

There are many things to love about this accommodation; the beachside location, close and convenient proximity to the Oasis shopping centre and a short walk to Pacific Fair a world class shopping centre. The rooms have been refurbished and are styled and decorated with fantastic paintings, which can be purchased. But the best part is/are Tim and Natalija, who make you feel so welcome and as if nothing is too much trouble. My flight was delayed and I got stuck in traffic, so I rang to advise them I would be getting there after the “open” hours and was greeted by a warm and welcoming Natalija, who assured me it wasn’t a problem and that she would be waiting for as long as it took and not to worry and to drive safely. They also accommodated my request for extended days, by blocking out the required time, so I wouldn’t have to switch apartments. On my last day, they were more than happy to allow me to checkout later, as my flight wasn’t until the afternoon. During my stay, they always greeted me with a smile and a chat and they were exactly the same with the other guests. They are the biggest asset and I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.

HI HO is a great place to stay within easy reach of Broadbeach eateries , beach and light rail . Parking is very good with nice roomy carparks . Our room was an older style room with a large fridge and freezer , plenty of cooking implements with a great view and breeze. Only thing I would be negative on is the sofa as I found it a bit low and uncomfortable however I am in the older age bracket and the younger generation wouldn't have an issue with it .

Originally booked for July 2021, and then Covid-deferred, our 5 night stay at Hi Ho Beach Apartments was a wonderful base for my half marathon endeavour. With superb hospitality afforded by Tim and Natalie, we felt relaxed and comfortable throughout our stay, really appreciating Tim's expert advice on issues like post-race recovery. That resort spa was amazing for aching muscles! Our unit was clean and roomy, providing all we required. Situated overlooking the beautiful beach, within a few minutes of many fine restaurants and in close proximity to G-Link and bus services, I can highly recommend Hi Ho as a top place to check out.

I have been staying at the HI HO appartments for years now and would not stay anywhere elese The appartments are very clean and spotless right opposite the beach and close to all the shops and restaurants. The hosts Tim and Natalia are excdellent hosts and very fine people nothing is to much trouble for them.HI HO is highly recomended

The noise wasn't much of an issue for me, though I was there midweek. The balcony in my room was tiny, and I booked a sea view - you literally could only see it from one corner of the balcony
There are more places to choose from in the Broadbeach area.
