We arrived on the first day this hotel was open. Lots of building works still being done, but nothing that ruined our stay. The good - the room was spacious, and there is an ocean view! The room faced north, so not directly at the ocean, but from the lounge and outdoor area there is a clear view to Broadbeach. The bed was comfortable (memory foam). 2 large TVs. Main TV has ability to chrome cast but wifi wasnt fast enough to stream music. Car parking is free, secure, and easy to access (although the bay we were allocated was already full, there were plenty of other spots). Location is excellent. One block from the beach, restaurants, supermarket etc. The pool and amenities floor are awesome. It is a very long (50m?) wide lap pool with lots of shallow spots for young kids, but room for everyone. Hot tub was good. Great BBQ area, gym etc.
The less great bits: Very basic fit out. No music dock, no coffee machine, no tissues. Not even an egg flip! Lounge and dining are functional but not overly comfortable. Single use/disposable toiletries etc. this was really disappointing for a brand new hotel. The single sachet of dishwashing liquid and one dishwashing tablet was never going to last 5 days, yet rules state all dishes must be cleaned and put away on leaving!! Very disappointing Ultiqa didn’t take a more environmentally friendly approach to the supply of bathroom/kitchen products.
Room servicing only on day 8! They did change towels after 3 days, but no refresh of consumables.
They make it very clear that online checkin in advance is preferred. You must upload a copy of drivers licence or passport. I wasn’t comfortable doing that, but I was told they would do it anyway. Why isn’t confirming ID enough? I really didn’t appreciate a photocopy of my licence being retained.

Curtains in bedroom do not wrap around window so lights from Coolangatta and along the coast shine directly into eyes all night. Drop down curtains in living area - DO NOT block out night lights from surrounding buildings. Nowhere to hang dresses etc as there is a second hanging bar in the middle of each wardrobe so 'long' clothes don't fit. Handles on fry pans get hot when cooking - no oven mitt provided. Hand held shower cannot be raised above half way as the shower rod bracket is above handheld shower rose, so only short person would be able to use it. No coffee plunger or Nespresso machine. Beware when booking ocean view apartments as some only have north or south coast views. Note there is a building going up on south side by park which will block out most of the ocean view from south facing apartments. Sheets didn't fit bed. Housekeeping only every 8 days; towels changed after three days. The deck area is very small and no crockery etc available to use in BBQ area. At over $550 per night (ocean view) for two people, this property is definitely not worth the money. Review pictures for further information.

Absolutely fabulous 2 bedroom unit with stunning all round views. (25th Floor) Meticulously clean rooms (which is becoming hard to find on the GC) with great amenities. Bathrooms well appointed and the double shower head was a win too. Beds were comfortable with lovely linen and good aircon to both rooms. Kitchen well equipped and modern, with a coffee machine for another win…the floor to ceiling windows make the unit feel large, letting in natural light, and beautiful night lights. This definitely gets 5 stars from us.

The signature is a newly completed building and this shows in that everything looks new. Reception was friendly and efficient and our room on the 8th floor was located at the back of the building but the floor to cieling windows allowed for a great view regardless. When reception was asked for extra detergent, soaps etc they were happy to provided them. Spacious room with all the facilities you need for a longer stay. TV has foxtell and internet connection so finding something to watch was fairly easy. We had rain for our whole stay, so the TV was handy. The room could use some coat hooks in the entry as well as in the bathroom, but thats our only critism. Plenty of storage space for clothes and luggage. A full laudry is also provided. A nice touch was the pool towels already in the cupboard, even though we did not get the oportunity due to the rain to use them. We did have a problem with the air conditioning on the first day, but after I reported it to reception the next day they had a technician there to conduct repairs and all was good after that. Located just two blocks from the Broadbeach CBD it is a short walk for groceries and plenty of other shops and restaurants as well as a short walk to the beach. Also and easy walk to the tram stops as well as the 777 bus to the airport. Would definitley stay here again.

Guarantee to offer best price was NOT honoured as promised. Management refused to offer any compensation.
WiFi did not work most of the time during a 9 day stay and even when it was working it was so slow that the Netflix constantly buffered… Management unable to help and no remedy offered. Was forced to make my own arrangements for an online meeting. Not what u expect for paying more than $500 per night for a 1 bedroom apartment
Cinema promoted online was out of order for the entire time.
Also, this must be the only holiday apartments that does not have a cancellation policy. For this reason, we will NOT be booking again! Meriton offers 24 hrs cancellation and are far better value for money with the same standard accommodation.
Signature will have to match others soon or they will find no one booking.
Given the price charged, I was VERY dissapointed in this stay and will NOT be recommending it to anyone.

Hi Steven, My apologies for the internet as our provider had major issues with their server and this affected all of their properties in Queensland. Cinema was not promoted as there was no internet to run it. For your cancellation your booking was in high season and our cancellation period is 60 days before the arrival date. We had amended our rates the day before you arrived and you wanted your booking to reflect these new rates. If we did this for you then we would have to do this for the other 200+ bookings in house and arriving. If we increased the rates would you agree to us charging you more on your current booking? Best rate guaranteed is at the time of the booking, not when you feel it should be. If you feel that the Meriton is more suited to you then please feel free to book with them on your next visit to the Gold Coast. Regards Scott General Manager

First of all we had an incredible OMG view from the 33rd floor in a two bedroom two bathroom apartment. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony, I don’t think Ive ever stayed in a room with such an incredible view. Our room faced south with a view from the sea and coast right across to the hinterland mountains. The building is ultra modern being only recently completed. The room was very modern and clean with comfortable beds. It had a great fully equipped kitchen and laundry with plenty of space and all the things you need. It is easy walking distance to the beach and all the main restaurants and shops in Broadbeach. The only negatives were that construction of another property commenced on the southern side which unfortunately in Broadbeach creates a noisy regular disturbance from 7am in the morning. The only other annoying feature was having to drive down multiple levels of car park looking for a spot with a blue dot on it. This was despite several available spots remaining empty on the higher levels. Reception is also only available during business hours but overall it’s a great property and very well priced.

We are near the end of a fabulous week at this brand new apartment complex. Sure the builders are here fixing minor defects, but it’s not been an issue in fact they’ve been fun to chat with, Aussie larrikins! The staff will go out of their way to deal with any concerns you have. The building is designed such that all balconies have a view of the ocean. Ice cold air con. Miele appliances in the kitchen, but the TCL tellies are a bit disappointing. Need more kitchen utensils, such as a slotted spoon, but we managed to cook a few meals. The pool must be one of the best on the Coast, 50m long big enough to accommodate lots of guests. The weather was so warm this week I reckon they turned the pool heating off which was fine it was still warm. Block out curtains so able to have a lie in. I hope they keep the prices reasonable as we would love to make this our go to on the Coast.

Lovely apartments, quiet location. Amazing pool- shame the water temperature was so cold- we visited September and the ocean temperature was warmer. I thought it was supposed to be heated so was very disappointed …. Our apartment had 2 bedrooms - the second bedroom had the smallest ‘single’ beds very very narrow. Definitely not a standard single size not suitable for adults. Kitchen and amenities/toiletries were very light on for a self contained apartment.

I stayed in the accessible apartment, the accessibility was great apart from a few things one of them was I couldn't get my manual wheelchair which isn't big, which meant I couldn't access either side of the bed, or the wardrobe. Luckily I was traveling with family who were able to help me out, not everybody who travels in a wheelchair has someone to help them out, also the blinds weren't accessible to someone in a wheelchair to open and close, also the two single beds in the second bedroom were oddly small. Overall, it was great, and the location is excellent. Close to many restaurants and cafes would definitely go back.

This is really nice accomodation with quality fittings. The bed was a bit firm for us and the staff willingly added a soft topper. The WIFi internet keeps cutting out every 5 minutes so watching the complimentary Foxtel movie on demand was not possible. The lounge is uncomfortable but I think that this may vary from unit to unit.
