The staff at the front desk are most helpful and friendly. The rooms are rather small and the front facing rooms offer mountain views, with the top floors offering the best views. There is a common room where people can eat and cook their own...More

A great place to stay if you are walking tab Mount Cook. Clean, warm with everything you need for your one or two night stay. Really friendly and helpful staff. The motel is close to all the walks and there is a pub round the...More

We could not believe the view from the Lodge. Great rooms and in the dinning/lounge area you are looking accross to Mount Cook. Great for any traveller as you can cook your own meals onsite. Everything is close in the village for meals and coffee.

Nothing but good things to say about this place, honestly. And to be very clear, I am super glad that I chose to stay here instead of the ugly, crowded and expensive Hermitage farther up the road. Being a family-run lodge, the check-in and check-out...More

I don't remember a supermarket. I do know that the Lodge itself sold a few basic supplies at its reception desk. There are several good places to eat that aren't too costly.
