This lodge is located at the foot of Mount Cook, which is the main and only reason why anyone ever goes there. We liked our room, it was small, but well planned and warm (very important given it was ~10C outside during the day!). We...More

We loved staying here in the mountain view room. Definitely worth paying for the view... It's worldclass. Shared kitchen with even better view from dining area. Very good value in such a unique place.

I don't remember a supermarket. I do know that the Lodge itself sold a few basic supplies at its reception desk. There are several good places to eat that aren't too costly.
