The most expensive camp site in our 3 weeks campervan trip from the very north to the very south parts of New Zealand. 1/ There is absolute mess in powersites allocation as the management confirms free spots but later turns out, most of them are somehow blocked/reserved by non

I'm very sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Usually our guests are very happy to be able to choose their own sites especially since everybody has different preferences. We ask guests to return their reserved sign on check out and pick up the stray once daily. Did you noticed we have a brand new ablution block which is just 1.5 years old? Also our BBQ Pavilion which offers great views, a nice place to prepare your meal and enjoy the evening is just 8/9 years old. Continuously we keep updating our camp ground to make it a beautiful place for our guests. Just a couple of years ago we upgraded our cabins. We have many powered and non-powered sites with view of Aoraki Mount Cook on clear days, but we also offer a decent wind shelter on one of those many stormy North-Westerlies days by having many trees. You must have been very lucky staying on a calm day. We offer our guests exclusive access to Lake Pukaki which is just a short stroll over our camp ground and DOC Scenic Reserve. I hope you enjoy the rest of your travels in New Zealand.

I can tell this is not a budget camp site, $23/ pax and 15 minutes free wifi, and no reception in the area. But love the view, the location surrounded by the mountains, hills, and walking distance to a lake, if you are lucky you will see Mt. Cook here. Clean kitchen and bathroom.

Lovely camp ground, exceeded our expectations. Beautiful views out to Aoraki Mt Cook, and over Lake Pukaki with an access way down to the lake. More expensive than a DOC site but I think worth every penny. There was a kitchen and an outdoor cooking shelter with stoves/BBQs to

We are very glad that you enjoyed every part of our camp ground. It's a very beautiful spot surrounded by mountains and still close enough to get into Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, a 18km drive.

The Glentanner Park Centre has some cute rabbits around the area which is interesting for children. However, the food option is very limited and you will have to travel to Mount cook village for dinner or cook your own meal. The room is not sound proof and you can hear other

Thanks a lot for your review. Yes, we are in quite a remote location, 24km to Aoraki/Mt.Cook Village and 44km to Twizel, which makes our camp ground very special and tranquil. We are sorry that your sleep got interrupted through other guests.

This campsite is within the Mt Cook National Park and to far away from the Hillary Centre and all the other Mt Cook activities. The layout of the Park Centre is very good with access to the river. Facilities very good and very clean and cared for. I did not stay in a

Hi there and sorry for the late reply. I am really not sure what public transport if any operates in the area but I imagine there would be organised bus or coach tours that could be done. As I am not local to the area I can’t give you the facts. We had a rental car for our holiday.

Hi Simone The man road is right along our reception building, where you also find the Tasman Delta Cafe. The cabins itself are around 300m away from the reception. Cheers, Sandra
