Campsite has stunning views of lake pukaki and mt cook, make sure you use the outdoor bbq and benches one night. Love that the indoor kitchen is stocked with decent cultery and utensils. Campervan sites are spacious. Only downside is that the bathrooms are pretty basic - would be better of there was more hooks, bench space and hairdryer.

What a great campground. Amazing view with lots of space between spots. We stayed 3 nights on a non powered site, camp kitchen really good everything you could possibly need. Shower good lots of hot water. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to camp near Mt Cook.

I stayed in a large family cabin, 10 bunk beds and a toilet... for one person because that was all that was left. It was ok.. I survived one day. I didn't really like the communal showers and the communal kitchen seemed to be worse than the YHA in Mt Cook, where I'd previously stayed. It is nice you can...

Hi pjd001 Thanks for your feed back. The YHA just updated their kitchen last winter, so I'm afraid we can't really compete with their facilities, but we might be able to compete with our new ablution block which is just in the build and should be finished before the next season.

We stayed here for 3 nights in the holiday park, on non powered tent pitches for $22/person per night. The pros are the beautiful setting and wonderful views all around - the blue lake, snowy mountains etc. The kitchen has all pans, plates etc and the dining area is spacious and has plenty of tables. The camp ground was reasonably...

Beautiful mountains as backdrop and lake at your doorstep, what more could you ask for. There was limited wi-fi but the spot is very isolated so it's understandable. The campsites were very nice and well worth a visit. Discount available on flights if staying here

What a gorgeous spot! Our room looked out on Mt. Cook in front of us, beautiful mountains to the left and right and the turquoise waters of Lake Pukaki behind us! Our accommodations were a single room that had plenty of room and a small kitchen and nice-sized bathroom. Easy walk down to the lake. Just 20 minutes from Mt....

This site is located about 20 mins drive from Mount Cook village. Pros of the site are:- great views, choose your own pitch, lovely walk down to the lake, large kitchen and communal area and very peaceful. Cons are:- expensive, no dump station or anywhere to get rid of grey water, water supply to pitches erratic (worked in the evening...

Hi Patrick Thanks for your review. Since we are not connected to a public sewage system, it's very difficult to provide a dump station. There are free dump stations in either Tekapo or Twizel. The good news are, we are in the process of building a new toilet block, which also will have a wheel chair accessible toilet/shower. We expect...

31/1/17- Stayed for one night but were intending to stay longer. It is a location that must be hard to beat anywhere in the world. At $50 it was the most expensive site we'd stayed at by far. However, reception staff were disinterested to the point of boredom. The showers were cold water only - we tried both the ladies...

Hi Sandra Thanks for your review. I'm sorry that you were disappointed in your stay with us. We provide our guests with all utensils, pots and crockery in our kitchen facilities without any charge. Arrived at the park after a drive from Christchurch. Super clean rooms and amazingly comfortable beds! The Park was clean and offered plenty of mini adventures for my little family! Managed to test out the BBQ area and enjoy the fresh air dinner area under the stars AMAZING!
