We stayed two nights at Glentanner in a self contained unit. The views are amazing and there is a walk to the waters edge which is worthwhile. The facilities have everything needed. I found the bed particularly hard and not that comfortable. However, the service is second to none. It is a drive to Mount Cook Village, not walking distance, but there isn't a lot in Mount Cook Village anyhow and it is a picturesque drive!
We stayed here for one night in a campervan. It is a quiet place to be in and there is a walk to Lake Pukaki as well. The facilities are alright except that the kitchen needs to have an exhaust so that people who use the kitchen do not smell when they get out of the kitchen.
We stayed 1 night in a Campervan and what a lovely quiet spot to relax after exploring the area, with the Mount Cook Village being around 15 minutes away. The kitchen and showers were very good and they even had a log fire in the Communal lounge which was very nice on a cold night. There is nothing much for the kids to do apart from the Lounge area but mine had heaps of fun exploring!
Beautiful views. Friendly and helpful staff. Georgia even allowed our kids to buy ice creams after hours. So lovely! The facilities are the best. All cutlery and crockery available all to use... made such a difference!
We stayed at Glentanner in our campervan for two nights while we explored the Aoraki/Mount Cook region. We loved every moment and will be back! The facilities are clean and tidy, the staff are awesome, really welcoming and friendly, and of course the location is one of a kind. Highly recommended.
