bathroom door has a huge gap so when its closed smells from toilet go directly out to kitchen. also reported our fridge door which did not close twice and NOTHING was done about it. The queen bed was the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in and i have slept in many. washing machine in guest facilities remains broken and has been that way for over a year. Ridiculous. Thank God for the incredible scenery because we would never return to this park. Also do not be fooled.. the cafe advertises a Breakfast and lunch menu.. the breakfast one is non existent which was very disappointing. I would not recommend staying at this park.. theres a much nicer lodge at the foot of Mt cook which we will stay at next time.

Not massively impressed, ended up checking out a night early. Paid $90 a night for 3 adults powered campervan site. After hours arrival was helpful. No assigned spots so you can choose from different areas. A large youth/school group was present during our stay meaning they had taken over the inside kitchen/lounge area. The shower block on that side had a sign saying 'School group bathrooms' - we checked with reception whether that meant we couldn't use them and she said it's only for the groups really. So that left 4 showers and 4 toilets (per gender) for the reminder of a very large campsite. Hence we spent ages queueing for the bathrooms and the large volume meant they were pretty grim, ran out of toilet rolls etc.
I think it's great school groups are able to visit but I feel the business/holiday park need to provide separate area/facilities for them. Otherwise it leaves the rest of the paying campsite members with very few facilities and a compromised stay.

We pitched our tents and had the best view, it was stunning! The amenities were excellent, the fire in the communal area was always stoked, hot showers and nice bathroom. The kitchen had plates, tea towels, fridge etc. We will definitely be back! The service was also very good 😊

This would rank as one of our best outdoor NZ experiences. It was helped by a perfect Mount Cook day so after a safety briefing our ride in the helicopter was spectacular. When we landed on a peak at Glentanner Station our guide Matt proved to be very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The hike down was easily manageable for our group of seniors and morning tea at the Musterers Hut was delicious. Matt took his responsibility to health and safety seriously and was on hand to help when anyone felt they needed a hand crossing a small stream. The whole trip was great value for money and we will be recommending it to all our friends. Lunch at the cafe was delicious after we finished our hike

We had a great 2 night experience at Glentanner- wonderful and helpful staff, unbelievable views, great location and access to activities (we did a wonderful help-hike guided by Matt) and good amenities. Kitchen was a bit crowded with large groups but everyone was really respectful and made for a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Could have stayed more days!

Booked and payed for 2 nights here (unpowered campsite) but only ended up staying 1 night. Called the park to ask if we could cancel our 2nd night due to my partner not feeling well after a hike but was given no sympathy and told they had a 24-hour cancellation policy. A refund of half the money would have been reasonable and decent of the park, especially considering our reasons for leaving earlier and the fact that the park was half empty.

A fabulous location for anyone looking to explore Mt. Cook. The popular hikes are just up the road, and there's plenty of space in the common areas to accommodate a crowd. I arrived super late in my campervan, and the staff had a little map drawn out for me. It was so nice to find all of the facilities so immaculately clean. In the morning, a staffer was even building a fire in the wood-burning stove in the common area.

Basic room with good heating. The setting is stunning, with amazing views of the Alps and a walking track down to the lake behind the camp kitchen. Just a 15-minute drive to Mount Cook Village. Shared facilities were good but can get busy—recommend bringing your own utensils

Really nice accomodation. We had 18 students and they stayed in the bunk bed accomodation and they were in s great condition. Moved to the motel style accomodation, I was shock by how nice it was. Keep the heat on as it gets cold. The area around is closed off due to poison drop, so it stops you getting to the lake.

Beautiful views. Friendly and helpful staff. Georgia even allowed our kids to buy ice creams after hours. So lovely! The facilities are the best. All cutlery and crockery available all to use... made such a difference!

Hi there and sorry for the late reply. I am really not sure what public transport if any operates in the area but I imagine there would be organised bus or coach tours that could be done. As I am not local to the area I can’t give you the facts. We had a rental car for our holiday.
Hi Simone
The man road is right along our reception building, where you also find the Tasman Delta Cafe. The cabins itself are around 300m away from the reception.
Cheers, Sandra
