Dump station out of action and no sign advising so. Residue from past overflows from dump station was not cleaned up while we were there. Lack of toilet paper. One shower swallowed dollars and didn't work. Muddy when thawed out and no attempt to deal with it (sawdust would have been good) so had to move site to get away from mud. Otherwise it is a good site, services are good (excellent showers), and nice and quiet except for buses in the morning.

Clean and nice, very well located. The bus pick me up to travel to the mountain directly from the accommodation. Methvane and NZ is a beautiful place to visit. It has so many great places to eat and things to do

Everything was great. Enjoyed having access to breakfast. Felt the walls were a little thin if you have noisy neighbours. Warm, comfortable close to shops and the mountain. Nice places to eat out in the town.

Perfect winter accommodation, the apartment we rented slept 8, 3 rooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining and a huge bonus of a winter stay..... a log burner fire!!! Just perfect. Lots of space for 8 people, comfy couches. Only minor was that the spa wasn't working during our stay

We stayed here during the school holidays. Excellent location. Friendly helpful staff. Simple rooms but warm and clean. Nice free breakfast in the dining room. Log fire and large tv in the lounge. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Abisko in one of their apartments for a week of skiing. The apartment was spacious which was great because bad weather meant Mt Hutt was closed for the first couple of days there, and flooding on the roads meant we were a bit stuck in Methven and the roomy apartment made it more bearable! Also once we got skiing there was plenty of room to dry out our wet gear. Excellent value for a self-catered family ski trip.

Basic campground with old furniture needing an upgrade. Doggy doos not cleaned up. Average price for stay and easy walking distance to township. School located in behind so noisy during school times. Unisex showers & toilets

The lodge is a bit dated but it is extremely clean and has everything you need. The hosts were very accommodating when our booking (through Agoda) hadn’t been sent to them. They quickly found us a room and said they would sort it out at their end. The hosts are lovely and checked in with us whenever they saw us, even offering to light the fire in the lounge when we were the only ones in there! There is complementary continental breakfast all day from 7.30am which was great! We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Very friendly relaxed environment. Room was clean and tidy with all the amenities required. Breakfast was included in the price which was a surprise to us so a nice relaxed start to the day for me. Highly recommend.

We had an awesome time. Thanks for the great accommodation and awesome hospitality. Its a nice complex with lots of options for rooms, apartments and caravan parking. They have an onsite restaurant and free breakfast.
