This is a cool small campground with everything you could need. Close to restaurants. Quiet and peaceful. Good amenities. Take a few dollar coins for the showers, $1 for five mins per shower is enough. We booked a powered site for our caravan. All very easy to manage.

A lovely little camp ground situated fight in the Methven township. Completely surrounded by trees so well protected from winds. The bathrooms were clean and had fabulous heaters set on timers. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent service, room and location with only a short walk into central Methven. The room rate also included a basic breakfast. Only downside was that the spa wasn't running but thinking this was due to not being busy the weekend we stayed.

A very pleasant stay in your caravan park. Staff were helpful and pleasant,went out of their way to arrange a dinner booking for us. Park was tidy and clean. Need water taps at each caravan site. Noise from buses starting up in the mornings was disturbing.

The team at Abisko Lodge could not have been more supportive. They made me feel welcome and part of their "family" - just what I needed. Thank you so so much! When my car broke down they contacted their resources to help; when I wanted peace and quiet I got it. I just wanted a quiet time and being off season I got this. Ideal.

We highly recommend this place. Our group had a wonderful time. This is the first time we stayed in such a cosy motel that has a large lounge for guests to relax in. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves, sitting by the fire place to play board games and watching TV. There is no kitchen facility in the room though, only beverage-making is available. But the staff were very accommodating. They let us use the microwave in the dining room. Complimentary breakfast was a great surprise!

The two girls who looked after us at Abisko were truly delightful. The beds were incredibly comfortable and lovely hot showers. The huge lounge and breakfast were added bonuses. We would definitely recommend a stay at Abisko Lodge, close to Mount Hutt and the hot springs.

This was just a field with very basic shared facilities. The noise from all the trucks pulling in in the evening then pulling out at 6am at the back of the campsite was very bad. Just glad we only stayed the 1 night. Would not recommend.
