We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The rooms are excellent and quiet as off main drag a little . The bed is comfortable , lots of pillows . Rooms are warm ( and heater available) shower had good power, and lovely white towels fresh each day. The breakfast each day was delicious . Continental with a range of cereals, milks and fruit, and some scrumptious hot options creamy mushrooms, soft poached eggs, bacon. We ate dinner here one night and the food was top notch. Delicious lamb shanks. The staff are a huge asset , all very friendly and helpful. Will be back for sure.

There were just 3 of us on this trip and we had a basic room with 3 single beds, comfortable and clean. Great having a drying room and storage room for gear. The complimentary breakfast was great - full breakfast for those who wanted it or muesli, cereal, toast and even chia pudding. Alternative milks also provided! Only thing that would have made it better is no single use butter sachets (because everything else wasn't). Staff were pleasant and helpful and it was so convenient being picked up at the lodge by the Methven Travel bus in the mornings so we didn't need to fight for parks at Mt Hutt.

My friend and I stayed in their basic rooms, which meant no TV or tea/coffee making supplies in the room. Everything else in the room was clean and recently up dated. Beds and linen were top standard. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and this was a choice of continental and full cooked breakfast. Every member of staff was helpful, friendly and efficient. We ate twice in the ‘in house’ restaurant. There was a limited menu but lots of gf options for me. The food was presented beautifully and tasted just as good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed one night at Ski Time on the 25th of March. Check in was friendly and efficient. Our room was a 'basic standard room' which was very clean, warm and comfortable. The entire lodge gives a rustic, ski lodge feel, but it's modern and very comfortable. To be honest, I was a little worried before we arrived that it wouldn't be nice because it seemed a bit too cheap, but it really was lovely and I still can't believe the price ($113 on sale) including breakfast. Upon learning that we would be leaving early to go hot air ballooning and would miss the included breakfast, the lovely lady who checked us in arranged for a continental breakfast to be left in the guest lounge fridge. This was so kind and appreciated - and the breakfast was lovely. I would highly recommend anyone stay here. Also the meal at the restaurant in the evening was incredible!

I stayed here as part of a cycle tour and I cannot recommend it highly enough. My room was excellent - very spacious and comfortable. Shower was lovely as were the towels - thick and luscious. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a little fridge.
Reception, welcome and check-out were excellent and efficient. Food was simple delicious and very substantial. The bar is well stocked with a great range. Continental breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from including self serve pumpkin seeds, chia, sunflower seeds, dried fruits, etc to complement the cereals. Also fresh fruit and canned fruit to choose from.
Without a doubt though the service of Bara cannot go without honourable mention. She was outstanding and helped sort out food options for all when the ‘set menu’ options for the tour group were not suitable. I’ve never encountered someone so tuned in to the customers and determined to seek solutions and it was truly excellent and very much appreciated. This establishment is very much about customer service.

Comfortable room, very suitable for skiing accomodation where comfort, quiet and convenience are important. Food quality was excellent! I suspect this is the No. 1 restaurant in Methven, and saw no reason to eat elsewhere for breakfast or dinner. Popular bar for guests and locals alike. Crackling fires in dining room and lounge which features a pool table and comfortable furniture. Ski bus pickup directly across the road.

We visited Methven and arrived at Ski Time to a warm and friendly welcome. The two bedroom apartment was perfect for us and we arrived to it all warm and toasty. There was plenty of space and amenities and having a kitchen ensured we could cook our own meals if needed. We had dinner at the restaurant on the first night and it was so delicious we didn’t go anywhere else for the next two evenings. The staff were super friendly and our meals arrived in a timely fashion and did I mention they were delicious! I even had a coffee delivered to our room the staff were so helpful on the last morning. Highly recommend this place and we will be back as it’s so close to Mt Hutt.

I always choose Skitime for accommodation in Methven. The staff bring great energy, food is always fantastic and the prices are very affordable. 10/10 I have stayed at Skitime several times and I must say that every time has been a pleasant experience. Even when they have been booked out and I have had to stay elsewhere in Methven, I call into ski time for the food is so good and staff are so friendly:)
Only a small walk to Opuke Thermal reserve and there is a nice walk next to Thermal reserve that locals have turned into an enchanted forest with surprising detail. - it a must

Lovely location. Well furnished and equipped apartment. Very friendly and helpful staff. Really nice feel about the place. Warm and modern accommodation. Excellent restaurant as part of the complex. Very handy for skiing breaks at Mt Hutt - make sure you're up there early though so you don't miss out on the car parks.

We had a fabulous evening. The fire was roaring which made it lovely and cosy. The restaurant was packed (even on a Monday) so would recommend making a booking. The food was superb and the staff great. Definitely recommend.
