Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were warmly welcomed by John and Lynda who instantly made us feel at home. They couldn't have been more helpful or informative about their lovely home, which has an interesting history. We were treated to a tour of the grounds and my husband enjoyed talking to a fellow Yorkshireman. I appreciated talking books with Linda. Their B&B is in a rural location opposite a field of cows but only 5 minutes by car from Kurow and a 20-minute walk to the River T Wines vineyard. We enjoyed not only the wine tasting but the delicious platter of cold meats, cheese, bread, crackers and accompaniments. Breakfasts were great and Lynda's homemade blueberry muffins were fantastic. We especially enjoyed John and Lynda sharing anecdotes with us. Nothing was too much trouble and my late enquiry about doing our rather large bag of washing was met with 'of course - no problem'. I was very grateful. What a wonderful 2-night stay.

We were warmly welcomed by both Lynda and JOHN on arrival making us feel very welcome. Accomodation is clean and set well for its era which made its charm. Food was fresh and the hosts JOHN and Lynda were attentive and couldn’t do enough. The children loved the farm animals and there friendly dogs. All in all would definitely go back and would recommend to friends.

Located 3km from Kurow, we overnighted here in this 1860 historic pub (now a B&B) while on the Alps 2 Ocean cycle trail. We stayed in the self-contained studio at the back of the house which was very comfortable. Great hosts, fantastic meals - a stay that enriched our trip.

We were warmly welcomed by John and Linda as we arrived. The open fire was lit and we appreciated it on a cold winter's day.
This gorgeous historic homestead, which is around 160 years old, is homely with comfortable furniture ant lovely decor.
The cooked breakfast was delicious and consisted of bacon, eggs, toast with homemade jam, cereal, fruit and yoghurt and homemade muffins.
We would certainly recommend this lovely B&B accommodation.
