Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What an amazing place. 'Best holiday park ever!' As quoted by my 6 year old. This place has everything. I was camping on my own with a 4 and 6 year old. This camp site made things so easy for me. Ground was covered in grass and easy to hammer in pegs, which is quite hard to find this time of year. Super safe, so many animals to see and feed, multiple trampolines and an abundance of playground equipment. Pool is amazing for a dip when it's hot to cool off. My personal highlight was having a morning coffee and strolling past the alpacas to the donkeys. Will definitely be back again and will bring my friends with their kids.

The kids (5 and 9) absolutely loved the night at the farmyard holiday part. Their favourite part was the guinea pig enclosure where they would sit and pat the animals for hours. There was lots to do and no time to be bored.

Fantastic place to stay, great for the kids and families lots to see and do you’d never get bored. The cabins, studio units & cottages are all well equipped, warm and cosy with everything you need. The place is clean and tidy and the animals are all well loved we love visiting them! Love how there’s a games room and tv room too. Rachel Glen and the team are lovely to deal with we can’t wait to come back again in the near future! 😊

Great place to stay with young family. While the cabins/studios are dated, they are functional and have everything you need. There is a paddling pool and a big pool, so caters for all. Lots to do here, the kids will be kept busy. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again.

It isn’t the botanical gardens or the Hilton but our children thought that this place was their Disneyland. And that is what matters most on family holidays, if the kids are having a good time.

They adored the bouncy castle, trampoline, swings, concrete boats, snakes and ladders, flying fox, the grass to ride their bikes around on, the swimming pool (not heated) and of course all of the animals. They thoroughly enjoyed the guinea pig and bunny cage and riding the donkeys.   Our cottage was clean, functional, tidy and comfortable. It had everything that we needed.   The staff were super friendly and welcoming.
If you have kids then you will have to have a holiday here as little ones love it.

If you are a family with children I don't know how you could fault this place. If you do not have children or don't appreciate children then I would make sure you book outside of holidays. We absolutely loved our stay and each of us were sad when we left and wished we booked more nights. Awesome features are such cool vintage playground, the pool beware it's cold, the gunie pigs so cute. Donkey rides firetruck rides this place rocks friendly staff well looked after animals. We will definitely be back.

We spent 2 nights camping at this park, so great (apart from being woken up at 3am by roosters!) - take earplugs! We had 3 generations staying and there is something for everyone - loved the animals, plenty of room to go for walks on the property. Dogs are permitted as long as they are on a lead. So many facilities - farmyard, donkey rides, fire engine rides, swimming pool, marshmallow toasting pit, artwork relating to the animals, toys for the kids to play on, BBQ's all over the place. They recycle everything they can and also use any suitable kitchen scraps to feed the animals Hosts very friendly and helpful...especially when we forgot our tent pegs. They very kindly loaned us theirs.

Great relaxing break. Friendly hosts. Excellent place for kids with animals, pool, playground, games and TV room and fire pit to toast marshmallows!! Kitchen well equipped, but only a small freezer under a fridge for the camp. There were 2 frigdes. Showers and toilets need some attention. Dated and in various stages of disrepair. Cubicles small with limited/ no hooks or shelves for your great. Temperature hard to regulate but lots of hot water. Great variety of cabins. Small shop instore for ice, ice cream, lollies. Small treat for all campers on Christmas eve. Peacocks and roosters were very vocal from 4am which was disturbing. However a safe fun place to go. Have already booked for next year.
