If you are planning a stay in Geraldine we cannot recommend Riverstone House highly enough. Ken and Jenny (and Misty) welcomed us into their beautiful home with fresh filtered coffee and cookies. The upstairs bedroom overlooked the perfectly groomed gardens and presentation was '5 star'. As the other upstairs bedroom was unoccupied we had the spacious bathroom to ourselves - complete with a panoramic view of the rolling countryside! Perched on a hill just out of the town, the property is an easy walk into town or a choice of walking tracks. Breakfast was a treat - with a choice of continental or a full cooked meal.

What a find :) river stone is wonderful, in a really great location only just out of town so very peaceful & quiet. Our room the king suite upstairs was fabulous, the bathroom was huge & had a great view of the garden. The bed was so comfy I had the best nights sleep, the linen was soft & snuggly. The view of the garden was great. The bell bird song in the morning was so calming as I lay in this Devine bed waking up ( I love a good bed!) breakfast was good quality & plentiful. The hosts Ken & Jenny very friendly & welcoming.

Great stay in Geraldine, not far from the centre of town (5min drive). We stayed mid winter but the room was nice and warm. Comfy bed and great shower. Host, Ken and Jenny were helpful and friendly and we had an outstanding cooked breakfast. This house is in a beautiful garden setting. Ken is happy to give you a quick tour and is a very knowledgeable gardener. This was a great find and the reviews reflect the excellent quality and value of this B&B. The Indian restaurant (Jenny recommended) in town is excellent, one of the better Indians we have had anywhere.

A bit off the beaten track, but a lovely respite. Bellbirds singing and flowers blooming. Very comfortable with friendly hosts. The room was spotless with pastoral scenes out the window. The town is also charming. Be sure to check out Barkers

Not sure what to expect but honestly have to say that this is the best BB that we have ever stayed in. The hosts are genuinely customer friendly and the facilities are outstanding. The bed was really comfortable with plenty of hot water for the shower and plenty of room in the ensuite. Breakfast was basically anything you want from a cooked English breakfast to cereal, fruit, toast and orange juice and tea/coffee. Very quiet spot with great views out to the bushy garden on one side then out onto the plains on the other.

This Bed and Breakfast is set in a beautiful native bush setting, and is very quiet. The hosts are very friendly, clearly garden enthusiasts and it’s genuine Kiwi hospitality at its very best. It’s less than a 15 minute walk into the town for dinner possibilities. Very comfortable bed, and very clean room. The breakfast menu was well thought through and was riddled with home made delights. We were certainly treated to the best, I would thoroughly recommend to anyone who enjoys a well cared for property with no traffic noise.

We loved our stay at Riverstone House B&B in Geraldine and would gladly recommend this property to anyone interested in a good night's sleep and delightful breakfast. The house and associated grounds are beautifully cared for by Jenny and Ken. They were both extremely friendly and very open to conversation.
We stayed in the ground floor room. The room was nicely decorated, sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room included a sizeable ensuite with shower. There was also small fridge and tea/coffee station.
For breakfast, while we had the option of a hot cooked meal, we chose a selection of cereals with fruit, toast and jams (we couldn't convince ourselves to tackle the Marmite...maybe next time!)
After breakfast, Ken kindly shared a tour of the beautiful gardens.
Thank you so much for your hospitality! We look forward to our next visit!

We had a comfortable stay here in their downstairs queen bed room. Jenny and Ken were wonderful hosts. They helped us reheat our leftover pizza for dinner, and allowed us to use their clothes washer and dryer. We enjoyed our dinner on the patio outside our room, amongst the beautiful garden and singing birds. We really enjoyed petting and visiting with their two cats, Misty and Cocoa. The room had everything we needed and the breakfast was plentiful. Very enjoyable and restful stay.

Welcomed by gracious and friendly hosts Jen and Ken, and had a lovely, very comfortable stay in an upstairs King bed suite apartment, in a beautifully appointed garden home. Lovely traditional full breakfast, easily modified for vegetarian tastes ! We had the most beautiful stay at the Riverstone House B&B in Geraldine! We arrived late in the evening as we were driving all day to reach Geraldine but Ken and Jenny welcomed us with tea and home made cakes (delicious Jenny!) and made us feel at home right away. We stayed in 2 bedrooms on the first floor with our own big bathroom and bathtub, everything was super clean and private and we had a good night sleep in the comfortable beds. Breakfast was prepared by Ken and he catered to all our egg-wishes, we also had the choice of cereals, toast, juices and sides for our eggs. Most of all we enjoyed the company of Ken and Jenny who were terrific hosts and offered us a home away from home. We have already recommended the Bed and Breakfast to our family and friends and will definitely stay again when returning to New Zealand for another holiday.
