Murray would have to be one of the best hosts we have ever encountered in all our years of travelling. He is 100% committed to providing excellent customer service to his guests.
We stayed in Rollesby which is the studio cabin. We found it to be clean, spacious and complete with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the kitchen facilities and washing maching were super handy. The hot tub was a lovely respite from our road trip and the orientation meant we still felt as though we were the only ones there, despite there being several other occupied cabins nearby. We definitely plan to return.

Found this place on my way up to Lake Tekapo. The owners were very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed, easily setting up power and and the bathroom areas were clean. I had a quiet sleep and the sunrise greeting committee of friendly animals was a lovely surprise.

Fantastic vosit in every respect. Large studio lodge with car port, huge bed, sitting area, kitchen, washer/dryer, deck and hot tub. Easy access to covered BBQ area with seating.
We were met by owner Jackie who explained where everything was. The owners are clearly extremely diligent and attentive. The quality of the fixtures and fittings (bed, bedding, sofa, tv, washer dryer etc) are high end. Everything is spotlessly clean, the grounds beautifully manicured and everything works.
The booking of the hot tub was well worth it. Great views in a private setting. The early morning dip at 42c was brilliant.
This was a great visit. The location is faultless and delivers great quality at a very reasonable cost. An absolute must for a visit.
Thank you for such a lovely stay on almost our last day in the incredible New Zealand.

After driving past this place on a monthly occasion we decided labour weekend to spend a night here with the kids. From the moment we stepped inside we knew this was not just a bed for the night but rather a home away from home. Everything was clean and tidy and high quality. Everything that you could need or want was in the unit. Murray and Jackie were so welcoming even giving the kids some food for the animals. The hot tubs were amazing and well worth it. Suffice to say it was the first of many little family get always for us. Absolutely perfect. Thank you

I wish we had longer to enjoy this place.
Extremely comfortable bed and pillows and very well set up and spacious accommodation in a private feeling setting.
Couldn’t fault it.
Everything you may need was provided including washer/dryer and iron which were welcome when on the road.
Shower was large with strong water pressure.
Loved it

I have to admit we lucked into fab weather with sparkling blue skies to contrast with the beautiful snowy vistas. But even if the weather had been less attractive, this accommodation would have been great with comfortably sized lounge, heating, great bed, lovely bathroom (and additional beds if you had kids or more people in your party).

The hot tub was sooo much fun. You really do heat up and lovely to look at the stars! We had a very gentle walk the next morning and spotted little donkeys, lama, cheeky goat and flying fox. We spotted some really nice accommodation options as well!

First of all, we chose Fairlie because we thought it was the rightest place to rest in our road trip from Queenstown to Christchurch. And after a deep search, I can say, it was one of our best experiences in New Zeland and it's a real pity we hadn't get more time to spend another day here.
Late check-in and as previously advanced by the property, the key and the instructions were perfectly located at the entrance door. But, in a few seconds, the owner came and he personally gave us all the necessary tips. Our villa (4 adults) was amazing. We've never experienced an hotel room, fully equipped as this was. Everything you can imagine. And a magnificent terrace with the hot-tub to enjoy the last sun beams. Amazing. And extremely comfortable beds and a nice and spacious bathroom, with a magnificent shower.
Again, this is an absolute hidden gem In the middle of the South Island.

The place was nice, but the owner was quite rude. We stayed past the checkout time without realising it but the owners could have told us about this nicely, rather they just shoo'd us away with a lot of disrespect. We had actually been cleaning all our rubbish during this time.

Traveling south for work I broke up the drive with a night in Fairlie, and again a week later on my return. Fairlie offered fantastic fashion and retail, plus great dining options, incl. the Fairlie Bakehouses famous pies and points of interest.
... But the best surprise was the high standard of my accommodation!
Conveniently located in Fairlie (& to Lake Tekapo) I felt nestled away from the rest of the world in my private sanctuary, complete with the option of a private hot tub.
The units were immaculate and well equipped, the hosts were very informative and accommodating. Undercover parking a bonus too.
This was a perfect starting point, and eagerly awaited end, to a busy week on the road. I plan to return for pleasure as night at Musterers Accommodation Fairlie felt like a holiday! The perfect escape from Christchurch.

I chose this because I wanted a hot tub. It exceeded my expectations. The units were quite close to each other but the landscaping with lots of native plants meant it was totally private. The accommodation was really well set up. And I had a private freshwater Scandinavian style cedar hot tub to use when and as I wanted. Superb. The only downer was the clouds refused to leave so no stars. Excellent & friendly reception/service too.
