Delightful! I travel a lot globally, and this is the best B&B I’ve ever experienced. Francesco and his wife are wonderful and generous hosts and the breakfast is absolutely amazing with fresh fruit, baked pastries, warm from the oven and homemade granitas! We were coming from the airport by bus and Francesco offered to pick us up at the station, he greeted us there with a huge smile. The room was very large with a modern bathroom, balcony and had every amenity. The location is walking distance to everything. It is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. Licata itself is a quaint town with an excellent marina if you are a cruiser looking to wait for a weather window, but don’t miss a chance to stay here at least one or two nights.

Rooms with a view, best bfast we have ever (?!) had. Large room & comfi bed. No elevator, just as FYI. Location unbeaten, free parking in front of the B&B. But

B&B Grangela was recommended to us by local Italian contacts and we spent a delightful 5 nights there during our stay in Sicily. Perfectly located near the center of town, a short walk from cafes and shops, the B&B is run by a charming host and hostess who not only serve a delicious breakfast each morning, but also provide great recommendations and tips for the best ways to enjoy Licata. Our room was located on the 3rd floor with a great little balcony, easily accessible wi-fi and was clean, comfortable and charming. We completely fell in love with the place and highly recommend it if you're looking to enjoy Licata.

We spent one night here, choosing Licata as a stop between Syracuse and Memfi. The host and hostess could not have been more helpful and charming. (The address is a little hard to find correctly, even with a GPS and Google Maps. Basically, if you get to the intersection using a GPS or Google Maps and see a flower shop and a different B&B at the base of the intersection, go up the hill on the right hand Via Santa Maria street until you are see the small parking area on the left. Grangela B&B will be #18 on your right. We did not realize this, but called Francesco and he came to meet us and help us park.) We had a HUGE room on the second floor with a large bed, chair, dresser, TW and separate table, another chair, bed tables and lamps. Off the bedroom was a huge walk in closet with drawers, real hangers, and enough space for a year's wardrobe. The bathroom had a sink, bidet, toilet, and Jacuzzi tub with handheld shower and no curtain. There were lots of amenities -- shampoos, soaps, tissues. Wifi was excellent and the room was quiet at night in spite of facing the parking area. The location is close to Licata's downtown, shops, and restaurants, although we did not spend much time there. Breakfast on the main floor included fruits, juices, coffee, cakes and a few other items served by our host and hostess. When checking in and out we saw a bit of the rest of their beautiful home. With the exception of preferring a separate shower with curtain or door, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this B&B.
