For the Good Friday celebration we stayed at this hotel.
The location is very nice and central with a view of the port. We arrived at around 1pm and although our room was ready we were asked to pay a supplement because we arrived two hours earlier than expected. I refused, on principle, as something like this had never happened to me. We left our luggage at the reception and returned at 3.00 pm and took possession of the room which was satisfactory for a three star hotel. I would have given 4 stars if it hadn't been for the lack of helpfulness in the reception and for small details that could be improved such as the tea bags being unpackaged in the air and not in a sealed bag. The bed pillows are really of very low quality. The walls of the corridor are peeling. The breakfast served on the terrace was truly excellent in terms of quality and variety worthy of a superior hotel. Sin. Very little can be enough to make this hotel improve in quality. Try it, it takes very little

Hotel Al Faro - Faro means lighthouse - is located in front of the port. Basic hotel, and don't expect many choices in Licata, delivering a nice, 'familiar' service.

Rooms are not small at all, and clean, equipped with satellite and pay per view tv; the biggest issue was given by the thin walls, simply not filtering anything: I had the chance to listen a 2 hours phone conversation coming from the room next to mine.

Other notes: basic continental breakfast (horrible orange juice, and Sicily is famous for the best ones in the world) and free parking available in front of the entrance.

The family owns the restaurant as well - same name - based on the ground floor: noisy, and the receptionist paid excuses in advance cause of the big party (I stay for the women's day) expected that nite.

I wouldn't recommende this place for a week holiday, but for a nite the price is really reasonable: 55 euros for a double.
Probably different prices in summer: cheap deal, though.

On our way to Agrigente we found this nice little hotel well located and offering good value for money. Nice clean rooms with balconies over the harbour and toward the sunset. Very friendly staff. Restaurant OK. The only potential improvement would be the breakfast ( Very Italian: lots of cakes but no cereals; tasteless bread, ham and cheese ).

I would challenge anyone to find a friendlier and more professional hotel in Licata. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we entered the door. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and demonstrates a high standard of cleanliness in both rooms and public areas. The breakfast choice of fresh home made cakes and selection of pastries are not to be rushed. During our stay the main restaurant was undergoing refurbishment. However a guided four of the proposed decor left us excited to return and experience the restaurant and its cuisine. We wish Viviana and Salvo every good wish, and if their enthusiasm and friendliness is any measure El Faro will become ‘the place to stay at the Port in Licata.’

I stayed with friends for the long weekend of April 25th at the Il Faro hotel, we were welcomed with great professionalism and kindness.
Very central location.
Clean and spacious rooms with balcony, overlooking the sea and the enchanting lighthouse.
Excellent and plentiful breakfast with delicious cakes made by Mrs. Viviana.
We had dinner in their restaurant in the evening, everything was excellent and delicious.
We will definitely return and highly recommend it

This hotel is rather sad. On the edge of the port of Licata, it appears well worn. The reception is correct.
The rooms need maintenance, which should be within the scope of the owner, given that the rates are too high in relation to the quality delivered.

We stayed for three nights at L'hotel Al Faro. Hotel located on the port of Licata and 500 meters from the beautiful beach of Marianello. Very well managed hotel, with welcoming owners and employees and always very attentive to customer needs. Spacious, well-kept and clean rooms. International breakfast buffet with high quality products. Private parking is also available. For the evening there is the restaurant / pizzeria of the hotel that offers excellent fish dishes...... what about if I return, no doubt I will request availability at the hotel Al Faro. Highly recommended

Very well balanced and very pleasant dishes. The raw material is excellent. You can feel the Sicilianity even if in an innovative way. Good service although room for improvement. Very good value for money. I will certainly return and wish this young manager constant growth and much success
