There is an enchanted place in the heart of the Mediterranean sea, where the hills embrace the sea ... This is Villa Giuliana Relais. Housed in an Art Nouveau villa of the early twentieth century, this four stars superior quality hotel still mantain an elegant design within the intact old-time atmosphere of a noble and elegant private residence. The wide green spaces, the unspoiled nature and breathtaking views will give you an unforgettable experiece: The Villa Giuliana Relais will be the perfect place to start your journey around the beauties of our land, giving you a memory that you will never forget. The hotel has a strategic position, close to the historic center of Licata, on a hill overlooking the blue sea and the city. The Villa Giuliana Relais has 12 comfortable and elegant rooms, equipped with all the necessary to make you relax and enjoy your staying: LED 32” TV, free Wi-Fi, safe, air conditioning, minibar, tea and coffee kettle set, hairdryer, etc. Another jewel of the hotel is the restaurant La Bottega with a suggestive terrace that can accommodate up to 110 diners. The recipes of the chef Giuseppe Patania will tell you about our sea, exalting its perfumes and flavors, based on traditional Sicilian dishes prepared with all local products. From Villa Giuliana you can easily reach some of the best places to visit in Sicily: the Valley of Temples of Agrigento, cultural heritage of UNESCO, Villa of Casale in Piazza Armerina with its splendid mosaics, Caltagirone and its handmade pottery, the baroque cities of Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicli, Noto, and the wonderful places of “Commissario Montalbano”, the masterpiece of the famous writer Andrea Cammilleri, also well-known thanks to the TV fiction. It is also possible to visit the places of the "Leopard" novel, of the Sicilian author Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, which are Palma di Montechiaro and Santa Margherita di Belice. The crystalline blue sea of Licata is few minutes away from the structure, and its suggestive bays and its gold quiet beaches will make your staying unforgettable. Hotel's Favourite
A beautiful establishment, very well maintained, very clean in an old house from the beginning of the last century. A limited number of rooms, a high quality breakfast and a restaurant which has a very good reputation in the area.
A very nice little swimming pool which overlooks the town of Licata. We chose this place because it was difficult to find decent accommodation near the valley of the temples of Agrigento. It's certainly a little far, but very appreciable.

Beautiful historic villa overlooking the Gulf of Licata. Location also for events and meetings. Not many rooms but definitely in a quiet place. In the attached restaurant you eat divinely with excellent care of the fine raw material. Amazing raw fish with a wide selection of wines. What more can I say? Welcoming and helpful staff both at reception and in the restaurant. To return absolutely

Upon arrival they gave us a warm welcome and we got a free upgrade to a suite with the most wonderful view. Room was luxurious and very clean. We absolutely lived the dinner, especially the tuna tartare. Also at breakfast we were surprised with the delicious home made pies and cakes. Thank you for making us feel special! A huge compliment for the service in your hotel.

We stayed here for 5 days & the staff were very friendly & hospitable.
It’s a lovely position with views down to the town & sea .
The staff looked after us & spoke good English which was very useful.
Michele makes the best hot chocolate on site .
The superior room was a good size & there was a kettle & small fridge in the room .
The breakfast was a bit limited as I eat all grains except wheat .
There were cakes & croissants & choice if you eat wheat .
There were scrambled eggs most mornings & sometimes bacon . The coffee was very good..
The bed was a little firm but they put a blanket underneath which improved it .
The building is very grand from the outside & there are plenty of seating areas outside..
Licata itself is quite rundown & not a tourist area which was good to see the reality .
The best ice cream is at Dolce Vita which sadly we missed as we were there at the end of the season .
Also there is a Conad supermarket which sells everything!

We booked here last minute to rescue us from a B&B booked nearby, which unfortunately wasn’t to our liking.
I must say Carmello on the desk was polite and as helpful as he could possibly be. He also served a great Aperol spritz.
The food and service for dinner and breakfast was all superb.
Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.
Thanks for looking after us.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel (the best of our trip to Sicily) for only one night unfortunately. Very clean, very kind staff, excellent value for money, delicious breakfast even with freshly squeezed orange juice. I had read that it was difficult to get there and I was worried, but that's not true, there is a short and well-signposted road. I recommend it to everybody .

This is a small hotel (about 12 rooms) in a fully renovated historical villa overlooking the town of Licata, well away from all traffic and noise. Staff are very gracious & hospitable, service is excellent in every respect. All the staff speak English well - a pleasant surprise. It is clean and very well-maintained.
The rooms are a bit smaller than an average hotel, but this is more than made up by the very pleasant public rooms & lounges on the main floor, and the beautiful and extensive garden areas outside. Rooms are comfortable, with all the amenities one could want, and surprisingly soft (by Italian standards) & comfortable beds. Internet is fast and free.
I stayed here for 3 nights, it was easily the best hotel I stayed at during a 4 week tour of Sicily. The hotel restaurant is excellent.
You do need a car, though, if you stay here - it is located well away from the downtown area (not that there is much worth seeing in Licata).

This gem of a hotel is atop a small hill in the seaside town of Licata. We were pleasantly surprised by our comfortable, modern two room suite with a great view. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom modern. Parking was free. There is an outdoor pool but we did not use it. A good breakfast is served in their downstairs dining room. There is a castle at the very top of the hill and Michelin star restaurants down the hill.
